He was the husband of the late Mary (Henriques) Medeiros.

Lifelong resident, enjoyed traveling, cooking
Josephine M. Lama, 72, of Maple Avenue died Sunday, May 19, 2002, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
She was a lifelong resident of Barrington.
Leo R. Dupont
Retired clerk at Naval War College
Leo R. Dupont, 82, of Main Road, Tiverton, died Saturday, May 17, 2002, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Margaret L. (Camara) Dupont.
Born in Tiverton, a son of the late John and Obelina (Paquin) Dupont, he was a lifelong Tiverton resident.
Mr. Dupont was a mailroom clerk at the Naval War College in Newport for more than 30 years, retiring in 1981.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a technician, and was a member of VFW Woodrow Wilson Post.
Mr. Dupont was a parishioner at St. Madeline Sophie Church in Tiverton, and was a member of the church’s choir and men’s club where he was a past president. He was also a Eucharistic minister and head of several church committees.
A member of the Knights of Columbus, Father Boehr Council 2753, he was a former member of the organization’s golf league.
He leaves three sisters, Jeanne Coulombe of Swansea, and Lorraine Rioux and Irene McCann, both of Fall River; a sister-in-law, Amelia Camara, with whom she lived; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Dupont.
His funeral was on Wednesday, May 22, from Hebert-Hathaway Funeral Home, Fall River, with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Madeline Sophie Church. He was buried with military honors in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
Joseph M. Vieira
Heavy equipment operator, past Lions president
Joseph M. Vieira, 81, of 502 Bristol Ferry Road, Portsmouth, died Tuesday, June 21, 2002, at Silver Creek Manor, Bristol.
Born in Newport on June 9, 1920, he was a son of the late Marion and Aldina (Costa) Vieira.
Mr. Vieira was a heavy equipment operator for Jerry Sullivan Contractors. He was past president of the Portsmouth Lions Club and a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Moose Lodge. He leaves eight sisters, Dorothy Brown, Agnes Luce, Julia Bucci and Mary Roche, all of Portsmouth, Laura Toppa and Yvonne Moffitt, both of Middletown, Emily Hillan of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Marjorie Sanders of Fremont, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Leona Tolleson, Shirley Ann Marshall and Henry Vieira. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, May 24, at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Church, 2836 East Main Road. Burial will be private.

Charlotte E. Kippax, 88, of Shore Drive died Tuesday, May 14, 2002, at Roger Williams Medical Center.
Arthur A. Kingsford
Active in community, World War II vet
Arthur A. Kingsford, 76, of 16 Milton Road died Thursday, Nov 26, 1998, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Muriel (Gemmell) Kingsford for the past 56 years.
Born in Barrington, he was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Leigh) Kingsford. Mr. Kingsford was a department manager for Federal Products Co. for 42 years before retiring. He was a World War II Coast Guard veteran.
Mr. Kingsford was a 45-year member of St Andrew's Lodge 39 AF&AM in Riverside, a past commander of Barrington American Legion Post, a past president of the West Barrington Men's Club, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and had been active in the Junior Achievement, Cub and Boy Scouts and the Barrington Little League.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons; William C. Kingsford of Briarcliff Manor, NY, and Jon N Kingsford of East Providence; a daughter, Dixie Kingsford of Wright, Ky; two brothers, C. Leigh Kingsford of Carolina and Harle G. Kingsford of Homossassa, Fla, and seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The funeral was held Monday at the Smith-Mason Funeral Home in Riverside. Burial was in Forest Chapel Cemetery in Barrington.
Erma P. Feigert
Former president of women's club
Erma "Bunnie" Parker Feigert, a former Barrington resident, died in Jacksonville, Fla, on Monday, Nov 16, 1998. She was the wife of the late Carl Christian Feigert. Born in Cleveland, she was the daughter of the late Walter H Parker and Rachel May (Fell) Parker.
She was a graduate of Western College (Miami University) in Oxford, Ohio, and received a degree in elementary education.
In Akron, Ohio, her many achievements included: vice president of Chapter AJ of PEO, chairman of Panhellenic's annual charity ball, member of the Entredos Section of the Akron Woman's City Club and the Ohio Garden Club, vice president of the Akron Panhellenic Association; secretary, treasurer, vice president and president of Delta Zeta Alumnae; general chairman of Ohio State Day for Delta Zeta, member of the Akron Alumni Charter for Miami University, member of the Children's Theatre Board of Akron, volunteer for the Summit County Child Welfare Board, chairwoman of the Children's Home Society ball, co-founder of the Delta Zeta Sorority Chapter at Kent State University, and a volunteer for many years at Stan Hywet Hall in Akron.
In Barrington, she was president and member at-large of the Barrington Women's Club, a member of the Women's City Club and the Garden Club. She was one of two women honored by the General Federation of Woman's Clubs as Barrington's most active member.
She leaves a daughter, Judith Parker Noon of Jacksonville, Fla; a son, Robert Walter Feigert of Akron, and two grandsons and a great-grandson.
Mary G. Campbell
Member of Telephone Pioneers of America
Mary Gertrude Campbell, 76, of 329 Sowams Road, died Wednesday, Nov 25, 1998 at home. She was the wife of Joseph F. Campbell.
Born in Lowell, Mass, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Brennan. She lived in Longmeadow, Mass, before moving to Barrington 22 years ago. Since 1992, Mrs. Campbell has wintered in Ormond By The Sea, Fla.
She was employed by Bell Atlantic in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for 37 years before retiring in 1977.
Mrs. Campbell was a longtime member of St Luke's Church. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Besides her husband, she leaves numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Her funeral was held Tuesday with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Philip's Church, Greenville. Burial was in St Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
Julio Biancuzzo
Leaves relatives in Warren, Barrington
Julio "Zookie" Biancuzzo, 87, of 34 Elmwood Drive in Bristol, died Tuesday, Nov 24, 1998, at the Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, following a brief illness. He was the husband of Mary A. (Aguiar) Biancuzzo.
Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, he was a son of the late John and Pasqua (Calderiso) Biancuzzo. He worked for 40 years at the former Converse Rubber Co in Bristol before retiring in 1970. He was a member of Bristol's Leonardo DaVinci Lodge, Sons of Italy and the Cup Defenders Association in Bristol.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Sandra L. Rodrigues and Marilyn Hewitt, both of Bristol; a sister, Mary A. Travers of Bristol; a son, Gerald "Jerry" Biancuzzo of Warren; seven grandchildren, Kyle Rodrigues, Ashley E. Hewitt and Maggie Rose Hewitt, all of Bristol, Sharon L King of Barrington and Robert Higgins and Jennifer Biancuzzo of Warren; and three great-grandchildren, Benjamin Arruda and Katelyn Arruda of Bristol and Trevor King of Barrington.
He was a brother of the late Francis Goulart and Domenic, Martin, Natale and Michael Biancuzzo.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Sansone Funeral Home in Bristol, with a Mass of Christian burial in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. Cremation followed in the Swan Point Crematory in Providence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 40 Broad St, Pawtucket, RI 02860, or to the Diabetes Foundation of Rhode Island, 1007 Waterman Ave, East Providence, RI 02914.
Sarah Cabral
Leaves sister in Barrington
Sarah (Carreiro) Cabral of Pompano Beach, Fla., and formerly of Bristol, died Friday, Nov 27, 1998, at Broward General Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Fla, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Cabral.
Born in Bristol, a daughter of the late Estulano D. and Mary (Sylvia) Carreiro, she had lived in Pompano Beach since moving from Bristol 20 years ago. She was a machine operator for several years at Rico Manufacturing Co. in Bristol, retiring in 1976. Following her retirement, she worked in the bakery department at the Publix Supermarket in Pompano Beach for 10 years.
A former communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church in Bristol, Mrs. Cabral was owner and operator with her late husband of the former Fore 'n' Aft restaurant in Warren and the former Gretes Bakery in Bristol. She was a member of the Steel Workers union at Rico.
She leaves a son, Rudolph Cabral of Boca Raton, Fla; two sisters, Mabel Almeida of Bristol and Uzelle Acciardo of Barrington; and two grandsons, Ryan and Kyle Cabral, both of Boca Raton. She was the mother of the late Rudy Cabral and sister of the late Frank "Hut" Carreiro and Ann McKay.
A graveside service will be held this morning at 10 am in St Mary's Cemetery in Bristol. Arrangements are by the Sansone Funeral Home in Bristol.
