RUTH B. DONALDSON - Warwick
RUTH B. DONALDSON, 83, of Villa Avenue, a retired assembler, died Sunday at home.

She was the wife of the late Robert J. Donaldson Jr. Born in Smithfield, a daughter of the late Raymond D. and Jessica E. (Wallace) Bellemore, she lived in Warwick for 43 years.

Mrs. Donaldson was an assembler for Kenney Mfg. for 12 years, retiring in 1980. She had also worked at Victor Electric Wire & Cable Corp., West Warwick, for 8 years.

She leaves a son, John J. Donaldson of West Warwick; two sisters, Ethel M. Paquette of South Kingstown and Eva O'Connor of Smithfield; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Lois A. Coughlin and sister of the late Raymond Bellemore.

The funeral will be held today at 9 a.m. from Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Catherine Church, Post Road. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

ANNIE L. SNECK - Warwick
ANNIE L. SNECK, 96, of Commonwealth Avenue, formerly of Harcourt Avenue, Pawtucket, died Sunday at Kent Regency Genesis Eldercare Center.

She was the wife of the late Albert Sneck. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Martha F. (Roberts) Tyrrell.

She leaves two sisters, Priscilla F. Puchalski of Warwick and Lucille Carcuzzo of Jupiter, Fla., and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lester Tyrrell and Jeannette Tuffy.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Route 5, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Road. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

EDNA M. LANE - Warwick
EDNA M. LANE, 88, of West Shore Road, died Sunday at Warwick Health Center.

She was the wife of the late Leonard Lane. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Johnston) Metcalf, she lived in Warwick since 1952.

She leaves a cousin, Helen E. Winsor of Warwick.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park.

CONSTANCE M. DESROCHERS - Tiverton

CONSTANCE M. DESROCHERS, 62, of Evergreen Avenue, a former home health care provider, died Sunday at St. Anne's Hospital, Fall River, after a long illness.

She was the wife of Leo B. "Chick" Desrochers. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Aime A. and Marie Louise (Berube) Goulet.

Mrs. Desrochers had been a home health care provider in the Fall River area for many years.

A communicant of Holy Ghost Parish, she was also a member of its choir and the Ladies of St. Anne's Sodality.

Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Marc and Carl Desrochers, both of Tiverton, and Alan Desrochers of Assonet, Mass.; five brothers, Robert A. Goulet of Fall River, Raymond N. Goulet of Norwood, Mass., Gilbert A. Goulet of Tiverton, Bertrand H. Goulet of Westport, and Donald A. Goulet of Portsmouth; four sisters, Simone M. Gaboury of Tiverton, and Madeline P. Lusk and Vivianne L. Goulet, both of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Muriel L. Evans of Fall River; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Amy L. Desrochers and sister of the late Theresa H. Ouellette and Benoit A. Goulet.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. from Boule Funeral Home, 615 Broadway, Fall River, with a funeral Mass at 9 in Holy Ghost Church, Judson Street. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown.

RUTH MAY SIMCOCK - Somerset

RUTH MAY SIMCOCK, 102, of Wilbur Avenue, formerly of Grandview Avenue, a retired teacher, died Sunday at Clifton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Swansea, a daughter of the late George A. and Sara (Howarth) Simcock, she lived in Somerset most of her life.

Miss Simcock was a teacher in the Somerset school system for 40 years, retiring in 1961, and had also taught at the Willis and Perry Schools in Rehoboth. She was a graduate of the former Hyannis Normal School.

She was a past president of the Somerset Teachers Club and the Somerset Senior Citizens, and a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association. Miss Simcock was a member of the Church of Our Saviour. She enjoyed oil painting.

She leaves nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at noon from Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., with a Requiem Eucharist at 1 p.m. in the Church of Our Saviour, County Street. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Swansea.

DONALD W. BRADFORD - Scituate

DONALD W. BRADFORD, 70, of Hope Furnace Road, Hope, formerly of Warwick, a retired truck driver, died Sunday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence.

He was the husband of Doris F. (Feltham) Bradford. Born in Providence, a son of the late Frederick and Kathryn (Stockwell) Bradford, he moved from Warwick to Hope last year.

Mr. Bradford was a truck driver for the former Ralph's Oil Co., Providence, for 12 years, retiring in 1986. He had worked for the former Gordon Oil Co., Providence, for 30 years.

An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of VFW Post 183, West Warwick.

Besides his wife, he leaves five sons, Stephen A. Bradford of Cranston, Raymond R. Bradford of Hope, Donald W. Bradford II and Charles F. Bradford, both of Warwick, and Robert J. Bradford of North Providence; four daughters, Kathryn E. Abiri of Portsmouth, and Darlene F. Bradford, Robin J. Pierce and Doris F. Bradford, all of Warwick; three brothers, James F. Bradford of Warwick, Charles F. Bradford of Long Island, N.Y., and Robert J. Bradford of Newport; two sisters, Marion Moulton of Cranston and Phyllis L. Knight of Warwick; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandson. He was the brother of the late George W. Bradford and Edith Trudell.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

FRANCES ORABONA - Providence

FRANCES ORABONA, 84, of Vinton Street, died Saturday at Miriam Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Domenico Orabona Sr. A lifelong Providence resident, she was a daughter of the late John and Lena (Caito) Mercurio. She leaves a daughter, Carol Orabona of Providence; two sons, Domenic Orabona Jr. of Smithfield and Richard Orabona of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight Street. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

ANGELO PICCARDI - Providence

ANGELO PICCARDI, 83, of Union Avenue, a former solderer, died Sunday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence.

He was the husband of the late Agnes "Inez" (Marocco) Piccardi. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Felice and Francesca (Ciavardini) Piccardi. Mr. Piccardi had been a solderer for Trifari Co. for 30 years.

He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Club, the Sons of Italy, and the Ponte Corvo Lodge.

Mr. Piccardi was a member of the 7th Ward Club.

He leaves several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Tony and Victor Piccardi and Vicky Parente.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from "Woodlawn," 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Bartholomew Church, Laurel Hill Avenue. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

PHILIP A. CROFT - Providence

PHILIP A. CROFT, 65, of North Main Street, died Sunday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Harold and Lois (Westgate) Croft.

He leaves two sons, Dennis Croft of Gloversville, N.Y., and Thomas Croft of Peoria, Ariz.; a brother, Harold Croft of Cranston; and two grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. in Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.

JULIETTE "JUDY" PAPPAS - Pawtucket

JULIETTE "JUDY" PAPPAS, 81, of Lafayette Street, died Sunday at Oakhill Nursing Center.

She was the wife of the late John Pappas. A lifelong Pawtucket resident, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ella (Frappier) Hauser.

She leaves a daughter, Barbara Gilkenson-Zito of Pawtucket; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral and burial will be private.
