JANET T. PASELA - Pawtucket
JANET T. PASELA, 61, of Saratoga Avenue, an employee of Pawtucket Fasteners Inc., died Saturday at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island.
She was the wife of John J. Pasela and the late Frank Pancerowicz. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Edmond and Clara (Varrin) Beauchamp, she lived in Pawtucket for 18 years.
Mrs. Pasela had worked in the molding department of Hasbro Mfg. Co. for many years, retiring last year.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Edward Chemelowski of Cumberland and Eugene Chemelowski of Rehoboth; a daughter, Barbara Brouillard of West Warwick; three sisters, Barbara Miller of Coventry, Joan Kmon of Voluntown, Conn., and Madeleine McFarlane in Rhode Island; three brothers, Pat Beauchamp of Coventry, and Anibal and Joseph Gil; and 15 grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Aline Stearns and sister of the late Laurent, Edmund and Paul Beauchamp, Ronald Grenier and Norma Stukas.
The funeral and burial will be private.

MARY VASILIKA MITCHELL KINGSBURY - Pawtucket
MARY VASILIKA MITCHELL KINGSBURY, 87, of Steadman Avenue, a retired employee of Jeanne Jugan Residence, died Friday in Wells, Maine, while on vacation.
She was the wife of Donald R. Kingsbury. They were married for 71 years. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Olga (Danekos) Alexian, she had lived in Providence before moving to Pawtucket 62 years ago.
Mrs. Kingsbury worked at the residence for 25 years, retiring in 1992.
Besides her husband, she leaves five daughters, Shirley Quinn, Isabel Carroll, Arlene Murray, Elizabeth DeCosta and Lorraine McShane, and a son, William D. Kingsbury, all of Pawtucket, 36 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Beverly Ann Kingsbury and sister of the late Christopher R. Mitchell.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Leo the Great Church, Central Avenue. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.

JOSEPHINE A. PERFETTO - North Providence
JOSEPHINE A. PERFETTO, 73, of Ambrose Street, a retired jewelry worker, died yesterday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Michael Perfetto. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Josephine (Raso) Rega. Mrs. Perfetto worked in the repair department of the former Kesteman Bros. Jewelry until she retired. She had also worked for Speidel Jewelry Manufacturing, Providence.
She was a member of the Fruit Hill Day Center for the Elderly.
She leaves three daughters, Jo-Anna Perfetto and Susan Perfetto, both of North Providence, and Michele Perfetto of Woonsocket; two sisters, Mary Agny of Providence and Rose Santopietro of North Providence; two brothers, John Rega of Cranston and Anthony Rega of Johnston; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frank and Anna Rega.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from Mariani Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in St. Ann Church, Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

E. GAIL FIGGINS - Narragansett
E. GAIL FIGGINS, 64, of Mumford Road, a former partner in Beach Plum Creations, died Friday at home after suffering from Pick's Disease for two years.
She was the wife of Kenneth G. Figgins. Born in Wakefield, she was a daughter of the late Carmen and Lillian (McDonough) Beatrice. Mrs. Figgins had been the secretary of St. Thomas More Church and Monsignor Mathew Clark School for many years and had also done volunteer work at the church as well as the school. A parishioner of St. Thomas More Church, she had cared for the altar flowers for many years.
An avid camper, she spent most of the past 30 years traveling. She was a graduate of Johnson & Wales College and South Kingstown High School.
She leaves two sons, Kevin G. Figgins of South Kingstown and David E. Figgins of Narragansett; a daughter, Tracy E. Fisher of Narragansett; and five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was the mother of the late Gregg A. Figgins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Wakefield. (Date of pub: 8-15-2000)
RITA C. WATT - Lincoln
RITA C. WATT, 74, of Grandview Avenue, died Saturday at Miriam Hospital, Providence.
She was the wife of William H. Watt Jr. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late George and Marie (Turgeon) Bachand, she lived in Lincoln for 50 years.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, William Hall Watt III of Laconia, N.H., and Wayne R. Watt of Scituate; a sister, Joan Baillie, and a brother, George Bachand, both of Cumberland; and two grandchildren.
A service of remembrance and thanksgiving will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Bellows-Falso Funeral Chapel, 160 River Rd. Burial will be private.

HAZEL COSTA - Fall River
HAZEL COSTA, 83, formerly of Wellington Street, a retired nursing assistant, died yesterday at Southpointe Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center.
She was the wife of the late Manuel Costa. Born in Somerset, a daughter of the late Manuel and Mabel (Curt) Costa, she lived in Fall River for 60 years.
Mrs. Costa was a nursing assistant at Charlton Memorial Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 1979.
She was a parishioner of St. Michael Church's. Mrs. Costa graduated from Somerset High School.
She leaves a son, Thomas Costa of Assonet, Mass.; a daughter, Cynthia Boucher of Westport; a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Theophil and Clement Oliver.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 North Main St., with a funeral Mass at 9 in St. Michael's Church, Essex Street. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

FERDINAND J. ARSENAULT - Fall River
FERDINAND J. ARSENAULT, 77, of Fairhaven, Mass., a retired truck driver, died unexpectedly Saturday at St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford.
He was the husband of Irene D. (Soucy) Arsenault. They were married for 43 years. Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Joseph F. Arsenault and Lillian (Rogers) Arsenault Bedford, he had lived in New Bedford before moving to Fairhaven in 1958.
He was a truck driver for various furniture companies for more than 20 years, retiring in 1973.
A Marine veteran of World War II, Mr. Arsenault served in the Asiatic Pacific and America, and had also served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was a former member of the Marine Corps League.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Besides his wife, he leaves a stepdaughter, Joanne Camaioni of Fall River, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was the brother of the late Grace Arsenault, Priscilla Sabatowski, Fannie Mott, Hazel Reis and his twin, Franklin Arsenault.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Fairlawn Mortuary of Sullivan-Waring, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven. Burial with military honors will be in Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven.

DORILDA AINSWORTH - Fall River
DORILDA AINSWORTH, 91, of Robeson Street, formery of Pleasant Street, a former nurse, died yesterday at the Fall River Jewish Home.
She was the wife of the late James W. Ainsworth. A lifelong Fall River resident, she was a daughter of the late Hilaire and Alphonsine (Gaudreau) Bolduc.
A registered nurse, she had worked for the former General, Truesdale and Union Hospitals and St. Anne's Hospital for many years and had also been a private-duty nurse. She was a 1931 graduate of the Fall River General Hospital School of Nursing.
A member of Notre Dame Parish, Mrs. Ainsworth was a former member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. She was a member of the Fall River Catholic Nurses Association, and the Retired State, County and Municipal Employees Association.
She leaves three sons, John T. Ainsworth of Fall River, and Russell F. and Paul D. Ainsworth, both of Westport; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late James W. "Buddy" Ainsworth Jr. and sister of the late Arthur, Raoul, Adelard and Adrien Bolduc.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St., with a funeral Mass at 9 in Notre Dame Church, Eastern Avenue. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
