Harold Eugene Parker,
U.S. Navy Veteran
Harold Eugene Parker died Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Mr. Parker, 64, resided at 137 Valley Drive, Aiken.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Covenant Church of God, New Ellenton. The Revs. David L. Holdman and Richard Martin will
officiate. Burial will be private.
A native of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Mr. Parker was a son of the late Robert E. and Ruby Ratliff Parker. He was a retired manager of the G. H. Bostwick
Estate, Aiken.
Mr. Parker was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was a member of Grace Covenant Church of God, where he was a member of the Adult Sanctuary Sunday School class and the Sanctuary Choir.
Surviving are his widow, Ellen Wingate Parker; two daughters, Michelle Parker Jones, Hendersonville, N.C., and Penny Lynn Parker, Mooresville, N.C.; one
brother, Robert E. Parker Jr., Liverpool, Tex.; and one grandchild.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Grace Covenant Church of God Adults Sanctuary Class.
Memorials may be made to the Grace Covenant Church of God Building Fund, P.O. Box 28, New Ellenton, S.C. 29809.

The Rev. Eleazer Benenhaley will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Barnes, 64, of Arrowhead Lake Road, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at his residence.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Bob Canuette Sunday School class.

Mr. Ely, 59, of Huckleberry Finn Road, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Augusta.

Gladys Redd Jackson

Mrs. Jackson, 88, of 261 Barnard Ave., SE, Aiken, died Thursday, Oct., 12, 2000, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

NORTH AUGUSTA - The mass of Christian burial for Gloria Genovese Lopez will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at All Faiths Funeral Home, New Orleans,
La.
Father Arthur J. Ginart will officiate. Final prayers and commendations will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. today in the All Faiths Funeral Home, followed by visitation.
Mrs. Lopez died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000.

Mrs. Omosigho, 43, of 1735 Busby St., died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Richard A. Asbelle
TIGNALL, Ga. - Funeral services for Richard A. Asbelle will be announced by Napier Funeral Home, Graniteville.

Mr. Asbelle, 46, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at Doctors Hospital, Augusta.

Edward Bailey,

Edward Bailey, 69, died Friday, June 22, 2001, at his residence, 563 Coker Springs Road.

A native of Johnson City, Tenn., Mr. Bailey was a son of the late Frates and Alice Burnette Bailey. He was a retired physicist with the Westinghouse Savannah River Co.
He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, having received a doctoral degree in physical chemistry.
Survivors include his wife, Dela R. McKenzie Bailey; a son, Mark Bailey, Prince Frederick, Md.; two daughters, Susan Bailey, Dallas, Tex., and Lynn Klett, Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Ruth Miller, Johnson
City, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Ela Holman died Friday, June 22, 2001, at SUNY Hospital, Brooklyn.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Green's Funeral Home, Blackville.
Mrs. Holman was a native of Blackville.
Survivors include her husband, Shelly Holman Jr.

Milton C. Holmes
Milton C. Holmes died Saturday, June 23, 2001.
Mr. Holmes, 75, resided in Aiken.
Funeral and burial arrangements will be held at a later date in Minneapolis, Minn.
Mr. Holmes was married to the late Alice Anderson Holmes. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Holeman Holmes.

BATESBURG-LEESVILLE - Willie Walton "Billy'' Murrah died Saturday, June 23, 2001, at Lexington Medical Center.
Mr. Murrah, 61, resided at 1097 Chinquapin Church Road.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Ridge Spring. The Rev. Charles H. Yoho will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Crest Memorial Park.
A native of Aiken, Mr. Murrah was a son of the late Willie Luther and Corrie Cook Murrah. He was retired from Avondale Mills, Graniteville.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Steele Murrah; a son, Anthony Murrah, Batesburg; a daughter, Sonya M. Bryant, Laurens; three sisters, Helen Crank, LaCombe, La., Gladys Heyward, Atlanta, and Betty
Hart, Mississippi; and a grandson.
Pallbearers will be Don McCarty, Chester Plunkett, Laurie Harmon, Dean Mitchell, Jimmy Lott and the Rev. John Steele.
