Funeral services for Courtney White Page will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2001, at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. Rodney Powell will officiate. Burial will be private. Mrs. Page, 90, of 1385 Silver Bluff Road, died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 2724 Whiskey Road, Aiken, S.C. 29803.
Shellhouse Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Linda Powell Johnson
WARRENVILLE - Funeral services for Linda Powell Johnson will be held at 5 p.m. today at Napier Funeral Home, Graniteville.
The Revs. Carrie Gorden and Chris Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Warrenville Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson, 53, died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at her residence, 117 Bayberry St.
Pallbearers will be Ray Askren, Carrol Baughman, Rick Cushman, Randall Dailey, Mike Epperly and Eddie Mills.

Allen Curtis Watson
WAGENER - Allen Curtis Watson died Saturday, April 14, 2001 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Mr. Watson resided at 576 Holiness Church Road. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Caledonia Baptist Church, Batesburg. The Rev. Everett Chandler will officiate. Burial will be in Swedenburg-Gunter Cemetery, Wagener.
A native of Batesburg, Mr. Watson was a son of the late Beatrice Watson.
He was a member of Caledonia Baptist Church. Surviving are two step-daughters, Diane Green, Wagener, and Lula Grant, Aiken; a brother, Andrew D. Watson, Gaston; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the residence or from 6-8 p.m. today at J. H. Robinson Funeral Home, Wagener.

Mary Ann Holloway
TRENTON - Mary Ann Holloway, 109, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Canaan Baptist Church, Trenton. The Rev. George L. Brightharp will officiate. Surviving is a sister, Ada Jordan, Aiken.
Friends may call after noon today at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, Edgefield.

Quinnijia Jaquisha Jones
NORWAY - Funeral services for infant Quinnijia Jaquisha Jones, one-month-old daughter of Christine Harley, of 127 Kinard St., will be held at 2 p.m. today at Jackson's Memorial Chapel, Neeses.
The Revs. Rubin W. Jackson and Robert Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in New Beginning U.M.C. Cemetery.
The infant died Friday, April 13, 2001, at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital, Columbia.
Friends may call at the residence.

Kevin Douglas Williams
RALEIGH, N.C. - Funeral arrangements for Kevin Douglas Williams will be announced by Simmons Funeral Home, Williston.
Mr. Williams, 31, of 1941 Melrose Valley, died Friday, April 13, 2001, in Swansea.
Friends may call at the residence of his parents, Johnny and Nettie Williams, 91 Charleston St., Elko, or at the funeral home.

Pearl W. Fields
Pearl W. Fields, 91, of Aiken, died Monday, June 18, 2001, at Lexington Medical Center Extended Care.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by George Funeral Homes.

Raleigh Higgenbottom,
Graniteville Co. retiree
Funeral services for Raleigh Higgenbottom will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at 3 p.m. at Earle Church of God with the Revs. Billy McNuer and John Christmas officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Higgenbottom died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center.
Mr. Higgenbottom, 88, was the husband of the late Dula Mae Cook Higgenbottom. He was a farmer and a lifelong resident of Aiken. He was retired from the Granite Division of the Graniteville Co., where he worked as a maintenance technician. He was a son of the late William Higgenbottom and the late Lena Glaze Higgenbotttom. He attended Earle Church of God.
Survivors include four sons, Herbert Higgenbottom of North Augusta, Kenneth Higgenbottom of Camden, Ronald Higgenbottom of Leesville and Carroll Higgenbottom of Aiken; a daughter, Joann Taylor of Punta Gorda, Fla.; two brothers, Oscar Higgenbottom of Aiken and Curtis Higgenbottom of Eastman, Ga.; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Doug Ledford, Gerald Taylor, Clyde Stewart, Luke Stewart, William Stewart and Tim Bevil.
Memorials may be made to Earle Church of God c/o The Building Fund 341, Earl Church Road, Aiken, 29805.
The family will receive friends at George Funeral Home Historic Downtown Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight.

Ollie Mae Warner
CLEARWATER - Funeral services for Ollie Mae Warner will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of George Funeral Home, downtown. The Revs. Ernest Webb and James Irrick will officiate. Burial will be in the Spring Branch Baptist Church cemetery. Mrs. Warner died Monday, June 18, 2001, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Mrs. Warner was a native of Aiken County and the daughter of the late Roy and Eula Gray Bonnett. She was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Marion E. Warner of Clearwater; a brother, Willie J. Bonnett of Augusta; three sisters, Dorothy Barton of Gloverville, Jessie Lee Beard of Gloverville and Alice Faye Smith of Windsor.
Pallbearers will be Robert Barton, Ronald Barton, Jackie Smith, Gene Bonnett, Michael Barton and Phillip Barton.
Memorials may be made to Spring Branch Baptist Church P.O. Box 209, Windsor, 29856.
The family will receive friends at George Funeral Home, downtown, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Otis Stevens
Otis Stevens, 82, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, Aiken. The Rev. George L. Brightharp will officiate. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Stevens; a son, Henry Stevens; four daughters, Clarissa Coston, Renee Snead, Mildred Bessedue and Jennett Williams; a brother, Alvin Stevens; a sister, Evelyn Butler;
11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the residence or after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Frances Diamond Woodward, Southern Bell retiree
Frances Diamond Woodward, 76, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at her residence, 1738 Two Notch Road, Aiken.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mole Funeral Home, Barnwell. The Rev. Allen Faulkner will officiate. Burial will be in the Barnwell United Methodist Church cemetery.
A native of Barnwell County, Mrs. Woodward was a daughter of the late Medicus C. and Bessie Sellers Diamond. She was retired from Southern Bell with 30 years of service.
Mrs. Woodward was a member of Hagood Avenue Baptist Church of Barnwell and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include two sons, Grover Woodward, Aiken, and Robert Woodward, Athens, Ga.; a daughter, Judi McNeely, Powell, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Hospice in Augusta. Friends may call at the residence or from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

George Edward Smith, retired shipbuilder
Graveside services for George Edward Smith will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2001 at 12:30 p.m. in Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, Va. Arrangements in Virginia are under the direction of Peninsula Funeral Home, Newport News.
Mr. Smith, 76, of Aiken, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Born in Newport News, VA, a son of the late August Walter and Eva Carmen Sandefur Smith, Mr. Smith was a World War II veteran, having served in the US Navy. He was retired from Newport News Shipyard as a shipbuilder. He was a member of Noland
Methodist Church, and he was also a Mason and a Shriner.
Mr. Smith is survived by sons, George Thomas Smith and Michael Edward Smith, and a sister-in-law, Jeanette (Kenneth) Goad. George Funeral Homes, downtown, is in charge of local arrangements.

William H. Arnold Jr., DuPont retiree
AUGUSTA William H. Arnold Jr., 86, of St. John's Towers, Augusta, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, at the First Baptist Church of North Augusta. Dr. Gary C. Redding will officiate and burial will be in Pineview Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Arnold was a native of Philadelphia, Pa. He was a resident of North Augusta for 42 years before moving to Augusta. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Augusta, where he was an assistant teacher of the Lyon Bible Class and was a member of the Sheffield Club.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and was retired from the DuPont Co. He was the husband of the late Vera Cloud Arnold.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Dodd, Lew Jolly, Tom Farris, Rick Hargrove, Bill Thornton and Thomas Boulware.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Lyon Bible Class and the Sheffield Club.
Friends may call at Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home, North Augusta, today from 4 to 6 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of North Augusta Building Fund, 602 Georgia Ave., North Augusta, 29841.

Wister Mack Burns, business owner
BEECH ISLAND Wister Mack Burns, 53, of Beech Island Avenue, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, at 2 p.m. at the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home, North Augusta. Dr. R. Larry Brown will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mr. Burns was a native of Laurens County and had lived in Aiken County for 20 years.
He attended Victory Baptist Church and was an Army veteran of Vietnam. He was the owner of Mack Burns Home Improvements.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Faulkner Burns; three sons, Mack Burns of Augusta, Matthew Burns of Jackson and Shane Burns of Beech Island; a step-daughter, Kensey Barrett of Beech Island; two sisters, Libby Stone of Martinez, Ga. and Sandra Jones of Augusta; and a grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Mac Grizzard, Gregg Thompson, Dan Stone, Scot Stone, Bobby Mayfield and Zeb Ailstock.
The family will receive friends at Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home, North Augusta, today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Alver Lee Jackson Jr., retired Army major
WARRENVILLE Alver Lee Jackson Jr., of Hill & Dell Drive, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 30, 2001, at 2 p.m. in the Hatcher Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. John Bolin will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mr. Jackson was a native of Johnson County, Georgia, and was the son of the late Ruby Dell Lawson Jackson. He retired from the Army with the rank of major, having served for 26 years.
His military service included tours of duty in Korea and Vietnam. He and his family moved from Naples, Italy to Warrenville 23 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie Smith Jackson of Warrenville; his father, Alver Jackson Sr. of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a son, Alver Jackson III of Beech Island; two daughters, Karen Herndon of Warrenville and Tanya Hager of Beech Island; two sisters, Betty Gargaly of Boca Raton, Fla. and Sarah Reed of Apple Valley, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the residence or at Hatcher Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Jasper Payne
Jasper Payne, 78, of Aiken, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by George Funeral Home, downtown.
