HARTUNG, Lillian
Lillian Williamson (Ghriskey) Hartung passed away May 31, 2002 in Lewisville, Texas. A former resident of Hatboro, Pa., Mrs. Hartung had also resided previously in Pittsburgh, Pa., Charleston, S.C. as well as North Branford, Conn. She was born October 16, 1912 in Philadelphia to Charles Markley & Lillian (Williamson) Ghriskey. In 1993 she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Robert Louis Hartung. Survivors include her daughters, Antonia Hartung Albitz of Lake Dallas, Tex. and Victoria Mary Hartung of Pittsburgh, Pa.; her twin brother Williamson Ghriskey of Greenwich, Conn.; grandsons Christian Robert Albitz and Steven Andrew Albitz, both of Coppell, Tex. along with four great-grandchildren.
ZORN, Harold
BEAUFORT, S.C. - Harold William Zorn, 89, of Beaufort, husband of the late May Ruth All Zorn, died Friday, May 31, 2002, at Bay View Nursing Center.
Crypt side services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2002, at Live Oak cemetery, Charleston.
Mr. Zorn was born June 3, 1912, in Denmark, S.C., a son of the late Nettie Eugenia Still Zorn and Johnnie Marion Zorn.
He was a retired insurance agent and formerly owned Zorn Insurance Agency in Charleston. He was a member of Gospel Missions Church, Charleston, and was a former member of the Independent Insurance Agents Association, the Dock Street Footlight Players and the Charleston Civitan Club.
Surviving are one son, Harold Zorn of Beaufort; one brother, Roger Zorn of Atlanta; two sisters, Maude Williamson of Darien, Ga. and Dora Eugene Moore of Atlanta; and three grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Gospel Missions Church, 4327 Waterview Circle, North Charleston, S.C. 29418 or to Spoken Word Church, P.O. Box 719, Lobeco, S.C. 29931.

GASTON - Services for Virginia Johnson Kennerly, 65, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME of Lexington, conducted by Rev. William C. Cloer, with entombment at Celestial Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kennerly died Friday, May 31, 2002. Born in Watertown, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Claude Devanie Johnson, Jr. and Helen Juanita Averitt Johnson. Mrs. Kennerly retired from Kroger and was an organ donor.
Surviving are her daughter, Gina M. Kennerly of Gaston; son, Steven Douglas Kennerly of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Jane Sanford Winn of Groveland, Fla. and Claudette Trout of Harrisonburg, Va.; brothers, Bob Johnson of Cayce and Claude D. Johnson of West Columbia; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Mitchell Lynn Kennerly.

HUGER - Mary Jane Ladson Richardson, 60, of 1062 Richardson Corner Lane, died on May 29, 2002 in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. She was a native of Huger, S.C.

Diane L. Baker, 50, of Goose Creek died suddenly Friday, May 31, 2002 at a local hospital. Born July 25, 1951 in Seattle, Washington she was the daughter of the late George and Laura McPoland (nee Hall). She and her husband of 33 years, Roger B. Baker, lived throughout the US during his career while raising their five daughters together. Her family was the center of her life and she will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and best friend to all.
