YOUNGLOVE, SR., E.
Edward L. Younglove, Sr., 71, of Mount Pleasant, died July 16, 2002, in a local hospital. Born August 29, 1930, in Raymond, Washington, his parents were Geneva S. and Leslie Younglove. Before retiring from active duty in the U.S. Navy in 1967, he earned the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medals. After being in the Naval Reserves until 1977, he worked at Avco. He retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard as a marine machinist in 1988. Mr. Younglove loved NASCAR stock car racing. His wife, Mary Ellen McDonaugh Younglove, preceded him in death. His survivors include his son, Eddie Younglove, Jr.; a daughter, Bonnie Younglove Howard; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. RENKEN, Dorothy C.
Dorothy Kathleen Cosgrove Renken, 78, of Charleston, widow of Walter A. Renken, Jr., died Wednesday, at her home. Mrs. Renken was born Wednesday, January 30, 1924, in Charleston, a daughter of the late John I. and Genevieve L. Connor Cosgrove. She grew up and was married
in the same home in which she died. Mrs. Renken was employed for several years at the Welfare Department of Charleston. She was a homemaker devoted to her family. Mrs. Renken graduated from Bishop England High School, Class of 1939, and from the College of Charleston, Class of 1944, where she was a member of Chi-Omega Sorority. Mrs. Renken was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Past President of the Catholic Women's Club, the Arion Auxiliary and the Lions Club Auxiliary. She was an active member of the Vestile Virgins, the College of Charleston Alumni Association and was named Miss Charleston in 1941. Her children and friends remember Dot for her love, spirit and as a loyal Clemson Tiger fan. Mrs. Renken is survived by four daughters, Kathleen R. Wall and her husband Mark of Charleston, Carol R. Watson of Charleston, Peggy R. Hudson and her husband Bill of Arlington, Va., and Linda R. Turnbow and her husband Rick of Springfield, Va.; a son, Walter A. "Buzzy" Renken, III, and his wife Betsy of Charleston; seven grandchildren, Michael Wall, Hayden Wall, Jocelyn Hudson, Zachary Hudson, Adam Renken, Lyndsey Renken, Ashley Turnbow; and one great-grandson, Alexander Wall. LANGLEY, Harris
Harris Dawson Langley, 72, of Goose Creek, died Wednesday, July 17, 2002, at a local hospital.
The funeral will be private with entombment at Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum on July 19, 2002.
Born in Tallassee, Ala., he was the son of the late Willie F. Langley and Gladys Worthy Langley. Mr. Langley was a 20 year retiree from the USAF serving during the Korean and Vietnam War, who retired as T-Sgt. He also retired as a truck driver for Support Systems Int., and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in La Grange, Ga.
Surviving are his mother, Gladys W. Howard, his wife, Marion T. Langley of Goose Creek, one daughter, Janice D. Mynster of Summerville and two sisters, Ruby Hansford and Jane Fryer, both of Lagrange, Ga.

Bonnie Mitchum Mitchum, 55, of Macedonia, S.C., died Wednesday in a North Charleston hospital.

Mrs. Mitchum was born January 26, 1947, in Barnwell, S.C., a daughter of the Rev. Carnell Mitchum and Dorothy Hood Mitchum.

Mitchum; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Denise and Donald Wiley of Macedonia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Elvin D. and Joyce Mitchum, Jr. of Macedonia, and Edward D. and Kathy Mitchum, Sr. of Andrews; two sisters, Wanda Timmons and Cherrie Bishop, both of Bonneau; and six grandchildren: Edward D. Frank Lee Pafford, 77, of Moncks Corner, S.C., a retired painter for Nabisco, died July 7, 2002, in a local nursing home.

Mr. Pafford was born October 2, 1924 in Marion, Va., a son of Frank Lee Pafford and Margaret Brown Pafford. He was an Army veteran of W.W. II. He was a member of the Moncks Corner Pentecostal Holiness Church and the AARP.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Ann Naruko of Torrance, Calif.; a son and daughter-in-law, Barry K. & Ellie Pafford of Hanahan; two sisters, Jane Duke of Hampton, Va. and Dit Morris of Alexandria, Va.; three brothers, Tom Pafford of Huntington, W. Va., Doug Pafford of Roanoke, Va., and Bill Pafford of Newark, Delaware; and a grandchild, Kimberly Martin.

Franklin Glenn Caddell, 48, of Charleston, S.C., a sales clerk & cashier for Hess, died Tuesday in Charleston.
