Cassandra "Cassie" Ann Hill, 18, of Ridgeville, died Friday, July 12, 2002, after injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Las Vegas, Nev. to Phillip Jesse Hill, II and Sharon Dodgins Hill. Besides her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Kelsie Marie Parker; a brother, Samuel Eugene Briley of Korea; two sisters, Crystal Lynn Hill and Heather Nicole Youngblood, both of Pooler, Ga.; paternal grandmother, Lillian Elizabeth "Liz" Sharpe Hill of Statesboro, Ga.; and maternal grandmother, Nancy Akins Dodgins of Goose Creek, S.C. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL, 100 S. JEFFERSON, S.C. - Mr. Luther James Bennett, 87, died Monday, July 15, 2002. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 17, 2002, 4 p.m., at Jefferson First Baptist Church. Burial in Jefferson cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at the Bennett Residence, Main Street.
Mr. Bennett was born May 6, 1915, and was a life-long resident of Chesterfield County. He was the son of the late Luke B. and Glendora Price Bennett. Mr. Bennett was a retired Farmer, Merchant, Chesterfield County employee, and co-owner of Jefferson Flower Shop. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and attended Jefferson First Baptist Church, and was a member of Macedonia Masonic Lodge 239 for the past 52 years.
Survivors include, wife, Ada Terry Bennett of the home; daughter, Sharon Bennett Gregory of Florence, S.C.; three granddaughters, Sharon Kristen Gregory and Avril Elizabeth Gregory, both of Charleston, S.C., and Gracen Gregory Jennings and husband Mark of Davidson, N.C.; two sisters, Eva Mills of Chesterfield, S.C., and Ethel Terry of Kannapolis, N.C.

Mrs. Risher was born July 16, 1927 in Cope, South Carolina, the daughter of Ollie Fogle and Elizabeth Mariah Smoak Fogle. After 25 years, she retired as a purchasing agent with MUSC. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and a member and past president of the S.C. State Retirement Employee's Association.
She is survived by two sons: Dennis B. Risher of Simpsonville, S.C. and Randy Risher of Greenville, S.C.; two brothers: George Raymond Fogle of Orangeburg, S.C. and Jacob (Jake) Fogle of Cope, S.C.; one sister: Lizzie Mae F. Gray of Cordova, S.C.; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Worley was born April 13, 1919, in Cherokee County, North Carolina, a daughter of John V. Stiles and Minnie Ross Stiles. She was a Baptist. She was the widow of Vivian Worley.
