Cassandra "Cassie" Ann Hill, 18, of Ridgeville, died Friday, July 12, 2002, after injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Las Vegas, Nev. to Phillip Jesse Hill, II and Sharon Dodgins Hill. Besides her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Kelsie Marie Parker; a brother, Samuel Eugene Briley of Korea; two sisters, Crystal Lynn Hill and Heather Nicole Youngblood, both of Pooler, Ga.; paternal grandmother, Lillian Elizabeth "Liz" Sharpe Hill of Statesboro, Ga.; and maternal grandmother, Nancy Akins Dodgins of Goose Creek, S.C. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd. Funeral Services will be Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM, at the McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel. Interment will be in Dorchester Memory Garden. Mr. Davidonis was born August 23, 1933 in Chicago, Il., the son of George and Mary Davidonis.

CRAVEN, Helen
Helen Elizabeth O. Craven, 92, of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, July 13, at a local nursing home. Born in New York City to the late Charles Albert and Helen Ehrichs Oettinger. She was married
to the late John W. Craven. Mrs. Craven retired from Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Bloomfield, New Jersey, after serving 35 years in the Lamp division. She is survived by her two daughters, N. Alice Farrell and husband Joseph H. Farrell, Jr., of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Lynda Ehrichs Kriby and husband Jimmy of Easley, S.C. Six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren also survive her. All services will be private.

MORGAN, Betty
Betty Squires Morgan, 69, of Bamberg, S.C., wife of Charles V. Morgan, died July 13, 2002, at 5 p.m. in Baptist Hospital, Columbia, S.C.
Mrs. Morgan was born September 1, 1932, in Appling, Ga., the daughter of the late Claude Scoggins and the late Ocie Adams Scoggins. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bamberg. She was the retired director of activities at Bamberg County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be July 15, 2002, 3 p.m., at First Baptist Church of Bamberg. Burial following at Bamberg County Memory Gardens. Rev. David Photo will officiate.
Survivors include, spouse, Charles V. Morgan; one son, Alton Ray Squires of Bamberg; two daughters, Lynn S. Welch of Ridgeville, S.C., and Dee S. Nummy of Lexington, S.C.; one step-daughter, Elaine Morgan of Conway, S.C., six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

OLIVER, Betty
Betty Sue Oliver, age 70, of Tullahoma, Tenn., formerly of Charleston, S.C., died Saturday, July 13, at the Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Visitation with the family will be from 6 p.m. (CST) until 8 p.m. (CST), Monday, July 15, at TULLAHOMA FUNERAL HOME, 401 Westside Drive, Tullahoma, Tenn. 37388.
Mrs. Oliver's body has been cremated and no services are planned.
Mrs. Oliver is survived by, her husband, Rudy Oliver of Tullahoma; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Brenda Oliver of Tullahoma; daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Scott Darlington of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Whitney Darlington, Ben Darlington and Dewon Brazelton; and by several nieces and nephews who live in the Charleston, S.C., area.
Mrs. Oliver was born in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of the late Charles Pender and Mabel Smith Pender. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Polio Heroes of Tennessee. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles "Wimpy" Pender, Claudius "Buck" Pender and Edward Pender, and by one sister, Evelyn Cuttrell. CONNELLY, Tony
JAMES ISLAND - Mr. Anthony "Tony" Connelly, 44, of James Island, died Saturday at Colleton Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at Doctor's Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Archie Sharpe and Rev. Hans Wunch officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, directed by the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home.
Mr. Connelly was born in Colleton County, a son of Dean Connelly and Carolyn Thompson Connelly. He was an antique restorer and lighting consultant and was in the Air Force Reserves. He graduated from John C. Calhoun Academy and attended Anderson College and the University of South Carolina. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited, the South Carolina Waterfowl Association, and was an avid sportsman. He was a member of Doctor's Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Walterboro are a sister, Kristin Mumford and her husband Erich of Walterboro, a brother, Ronny Connelly and his wife Shajuanna of Walterboro, and three nephews, Jordan Mumford, Jackson Mumford, and Andrew Connelly.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m., Monday, at the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME.

Mrs. Hampton, widow of Harry Rutledge Elliott Hampton, died the morning of Saturday, July13, 2002, at home. Born December 9, 1910, in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Albert Rhett Heyward, Jr., and Rosa Cantey Heyward. She attended McMaster School, Columbia High School, and graduated from the University of South Carolina. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority, the Assembly, and a lifelong member of Trinity Cathedral. She was the first to be rocked in the cradle at Trinity Church. She was first married
to the late George Thomas McCutchen, M.D.
Mrs. Hampton is survived by her children, Elizabeth McCutchen Williams, Jane McCutchen Brown, and George Thomas McCutchen, Jr.; step-daughter, Harriott Hampton Faucette; grandchildren, Elizabeth Williams Kassebaum (Mrs. John P.), Lucy Williams Sackett (Mrs. Henry M.), Mary Boykin Williams, Jane Brown Robertson (Mrs. Terry C.), William Stevens Brown V (Lauren), Margaret S. He is survived by one son, R. Keith Coker, Jr. of Folly Beach, S.C.; one daughter, Gail C. Adams and her husband James of Warner Robins, Ga.; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

DARLINGTON, S.C. - Elizabeth "Libby" Cook Gardner, 66, wife of Eugene Austin "Skeets" Gardner, Jr., died Friday, July 12, 2002, in a Florence hospital.
Mrs. Gardner was born in Lake City, S.C., a daughter of the late Richard Walter Cook, Sr., and the late Lillie Gray Cook. She was a homemaker, a member of the Mechanicsville Baptist Church and was a graduate of Lake City High School.
Surviving are her husband, Eugene "Skeets" Gardner, Jr., of the home; two sons, Eugene "Tripp" (Renee') Gardner, III, and Richard Todd (Susan) Gardner both of Darlington, S.C.; daughter, Terri Gardner (Eddie) Odom of Lugoff, S.C.; one brother, Richard (Bobbie) Cook, Jr., of Lake City, S.C.; three sisters, Janie Lou C. Morris of Scranton, S.C., Allie Cook of Florence, S.C., and Carleen C. (Wick) Tanner of Lake City, S.C.; grandchildren, Trey Gardner, Taylor Gardner, Austin Gardner, Tanner Odom, and Helen Odom.
