Entered into eternal rest on June 30, 2002 in Ormond Beach, FL. Susan Lynn Murray Bush was born in Charleston on June 1, 1951, a daughter of the late William Watson Murray, Jr. and the former Harriett MacBay.
She is survived by one daughter, Christina Escobar and two granddaughters, Alexandra and Stephanie of Manassas, VA. Her mother and step-father, James L. Renaud of St. Petersburg, FL. One brother, William W. Murray III of Conway, S.C. and one sister, Terri R. Hillaert of Vienna, VA. and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held in Deland, FL. Interment in Bethany cemetery, Charleston.
MUNDAY, Delilah
Delilah C. Munday, 91, of Mt. Pleasant died Wednesday, July 10th at a local hospital. Born in Columbia, S.C. to the late John Bradley and Deliliah Roughton Cahoon. She was married
to the late Carl A. Munday. She was retired from Duke University in the Research Lab as an administrative assistant. Mrs. Munday attended UNC Greensboro, and was of the Methodist faith. Her son Carl Bradley Munday and his wife Ann of Kiawah, S.C., and a granddaughter, Jennifer A. Munday of Miami, FL, survive her. All services will be private. CADDELL, Garner
Garner Cadell, 74, of Church of God Road, Macedonia, S.C., a retired dragline operator for Berkeley County, died Monday in a Charleston hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m., Thursday morning, July 11, 2002, in the Moncks Corner Church of God. Interment will be in Macedonia Christian Church cemetery. Friends may call at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. this Wednesday evening.
Mr. Caddell was born August 31, 1927, in Macedonia, S.C., a son of Daniel Press Caddell and Janie DuPree Caddell. He was an Army veteran of W.W.II. He was a member of the Moncks Corner Church of God. He was the former owner and operator of the A&G Clothing Store, St. Stephen.
Surviving are, his wife, Amie Wright Caddell; two daughters, Mary Ann Caddell of Greenville and Allison Leasure of Macedonia; a sister, Eunice Catalog of Charleston; a brother, D.P. Caddell of Macedonia; and two grandsons, Curtis Garner Caddell and William Snelson, Jr.
GUYTON, Sabina S.
Sabina S. Guyton, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., widow of Archie Guyton, Jr., died Friday, July 5, 2002, in a local nursing home. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Guyton are invited to attend her services, Thursday, July 11, 2002, at the graveside, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, at 4 o'clock..

Mrs. Guyton was born in Jacksonville, Ala., a daughter of Macon A. and Sabina F. Stevenson. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and a charter member of Sea Gull Art Gallery.
Surviving are two nieces, Caroline Schoenley and Katherine S. Edwards, mother-in-law, Ida M. Jones, sister-in-law, Alene G. Williams and brother-in-law, Jesse W. Guyton.

GRAY, M.F.
GRAYS, S.C. - M.F. Gray, 85, died Monday, July 8, 2002, in his home in Grays, S.C., after a long illness.
Mr. Gray was born February 17, 1917, in Grays, S.C., the son of the late Miles F. Gray and the late Nora Elizabeth Smith Gray. He was a farmer and member and Deacon of Beaver Dam Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school for many years. He was a former Jasper County Magistrate, former member of Jasper County Council, and served as Commissioner for Jasper County Soil and Water Conservation District for 42 years; served on Board of Directors for Farm Bureau; served on Jasper County Hospital Board Planning Committee; member of Stafford Masonic Lodge in Furman, S.C.
Survivors include, wife, Adell Bishop Gray of Grays, S.C.; step-son, Michael Bishop of Grays, S.C.; step-daughter, Shannon Mixon of Early Branch, S.C.; three brothers, Charles L. Smith of Decatur, Ill., Everett Smith of Grays, S.C., William Smith of Grays, S.C.; two sister, Annie Lee Mosley of Oak Park, Ga., Sarah Grooms of Charlotte, N.C.
Funeral services will be at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, Grays, S.C., 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2002. Burial in Beaver Dam Baptist Church cemetery, Grays. Visitation on Tuesday, July 9, 2002, from 6 until 8 p.m.

POPE, Laudy
GEORGETOWN - Laudy Leon Pope, 96, lifetime resident of Georgetown County and widower of Iva Sanders Pope, died Monday, July 8, 2002, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 5 p.m., Thursday, July 11, 2002, at the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday evening, July 10, 2002, at the Georgetown Chapel.
Mr. Pope was born August 19, 1905, in Georgetown County, a son of Joseph Albert Pope and Sarah Tindall Pope. He was a retired Security Guard with International Paper Company, Georgetown Mill; and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Georgetown.
Surviving are, two sons, J. Mack Pope and his wife, Valma, and Leon Pope, all of Georgetown; one daughter, Belinda P. Lambert and her husband, Nathan, of Georgetown; two step-children, Harry Pope and his wife, Pansy, of Georgetown, and Ann P. Bell of Pinebluff, Ark.; a sister, Addie P. Martin of Georgetown; 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
GRANT, G.B.
ANDREWS - G.B. Grant, 86, died Tuesday, July 9, 2002, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, July 11, 2002, at the Andrews Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the Andrews Memorial cemetery, directed by Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday evening, July 10, 2002, at the Andrews Chapel.
Mr. Grant was born March 18, 1916, in Georgetown County, a son of George Banks Grant, Sr., and Mary Edith Hyrne Grant. He was a retired electrician with International Paper Company, Georgetown Mill, a Mason, an Army veteran of W.W.II, and a member of the Andrews Presbyterian Church. He was educated in Georgetown County School System.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Mildred Nesmith Grant of Andrews, are, a son, G. Randall Grant of Columbia; two daughters, Pam G. Lesesne of Andrews; and Debbie G. Barwick of Cameron; one sister, Jennie P. Grant of Andrews; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
