GRAHAM, M. Caroline
RUFFIN- Margaret Caroline (Ta) Graham, 81, died Friday at Colleton Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday at St. Johns United Methodist, conducted by Rev. David Cox. Interment will be in Risher cemetery, directed by the FRED PARKER FUNERAL HOME.
Miss Graham was born Nov. 24, 1920 in Ruffin, a daughter of the late Dr. Eugene Graham and Inez Porter Graham Breland. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women.
Surviving are numerous cousins.
The body will be carried to the church 1 hour prior to services.
McCORD, Evangeline
LODGE - Evangeline Andrews McCord, 96, died Friday at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday at THE CHAPEL OF THE FRED PARKER FUNERAL HOME, conducted by Rev. Kathy Griffin. Interment will be in Lodge United Methodist Church cemetery.
Mrs. McCord was born Nov. 7, 1905 in Canton, Ohio, a daughter of the late George Franklin Andrews and Stella Evangeline Andrews. She was the widow of Dr. William McCord, former President of the Medical University of South Carolina. They live in Lodge since Dr. McCord's retirement. Mrs. McCord was active in the Garden Club on the national, state and local level. She was a nationally accredited Flower Show Judge and instrumental in the early days of the Riverland Terrace Garden Club in Charleston. After retirement to the Walterboro area, she worked with the Mayfield Garden Club in many beautification projects. Besides her family, she was known for her love of flowers, gardens, her community and country. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Arts from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio. She was a member of Lodge United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: a daughter, Marilyn Sloane of Lodge; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

DRISCOLL, Jack
Jack Lamar Driscoll, 75, of Springfield, Ohio died peacefully Saturday morning, July 6, 2002 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Springfield on April 6, 1927 the son of Lamar Edward and Edna (Curtis) Driscoll and was a life-long resident of Springfield. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna Jean (Fessler); daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Bill Luhn of Charleston, South Carolina; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Cathy Driscoll of Atlanta, Georgia and Matthew and Janne Driscoll of Charleston, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Kyle and Kevin Driscoll of Atlanta and Carrie and Sarah Luhn of Charleston; aunt, Edith Hildebrand of Springfield; father-in-law, Parke Fessler of Canton, Ohio; and sister-in-law, Janis (Gene) Kinsley of Daytona Beach, Florida. Donald Burton Woodruff, husband of Carol S. Woodruff of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. died Saturday, July 6, 2002 in a local hospital. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Donald B. Mr. Woodruff was born in Guilford, NY, a son of E. Burton Woodruff and Juanita Green Woodruff Lee. He retired from Allied Signal Corp. as Vice President and General Manager and was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Mt. Pleasant, S.C. He was a member of Snee Farm Country Club.
Surviving are his wife, Carol S. Woodruff of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. two sons, Donald Clark Woodruff of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and Richard Halbert and his wife Theresa of Sidney, NY, and one granddaughter, Renee Halbert.

VAN THULLENAR, Ted
Ted Francis Van Thullenar, beloved husband, father and grandfather of Murrells Inlet, S.C. died on Saturday July 6th, 2002 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 54. Ted was born July 18, 1947, a son of the late Arnold E. and Sally Flynn Van Thullenar, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Ted graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in business. He was employed by Oscar Meyer/Highgrade Foods from 1970-1978. He and his wife have operated Piggly Wiggly grocery stores from 1978 to the present. Their most recent grocery store was the Piggly Wiggly at Litchfield. Ted and his wife, Barbara, founded an organization in 1994 called Friends of Santa Claus/Camp Merry Times in Hendersonville, NC. The organization provides emotional and financial support for children with cancer and their families. Through this organization, many children and their families have been given support in dealing with a very challenging disease through special wishes, a four day camp, a pediatric oncology clinic at Mission St. Joseph's Hospital in Asheville, NC and much more. Ted and Barbara have devoted their lives to helping others. LINKER, Jeannette
Jeannette P. Linker, 71, of Charleston died Friday, July 5th at her residence. Born in Concord, NC to the late Robert Levi and Mabel Craven Pinion, Sr. She was married
to the late Glenn R. Linker, Sr. She retired from Olan Mills after many years of dedication. Mrs. Linker was a devoted member of St. Mark United Methodist Church where she served in many different capacities. She was secretary of the U. M. W. (United Methodist Women), Circle Chairmen, Acolyte and Crucifix Coordinator for 31 years, Adult Choir member for 36 years, and served on the PPR committee. Mrs. Linker was also a member of the Goodness Gracious Band that performed all over mainly at retirement homes and nursing homes. She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia M. Sunde of Charleston, three sons, Glenn R. Linker, Jr., of Charleston, Timothy D. Linker, of Charleston, and Christopher R. Linker of St. Louis, Missouri, four grandchildren, Milena Linker, Gabrielle Linker, Hunter Linker, and Kali Sunde. GEORGETOWN: Myrtle Pope Goude, 76, died Friday, July 5, 2002, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Goude was born in the Center Community of Georgetown County on December 21, 1925, a daughter of the late Irby T. Pope and Eva Jane Tanner Pope. She attended the Pleasant Hill schools. Mrs. Goude lived in the Rhem's Community of Georgetown County and was a member of Nesmith Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Senior Sunday School Class and the Women on Mission of the church.
Surviving are: her husband, Lloyd Mack Goude of Georgetown; a son, Jeffrey L. Goude and his wife Becky of Georgetown; a daughter, Jane G. Lacer and her husband Rob of Clarks Hill; four brothers, Irby T. Pope, Joseph W. Pope, Johnny J. Avant, and Wayne Avant, all of Georgetown; two grandchildren; Lara "Miki" Barrett of Dacula, Ga, and Holly Amber Goude of Georgetown; and a great-grandchild, Marissa Lynn Barrett of Dacula, Ga.
Funeral services will be three o'clock Sunday afternoon, July 7, 2002, in Nesmith Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Craig B. Cribb and the Rev. David Welch. Entombment will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Georgetown under the direction of the GEORGETOWN CHAPEL OF MAYER FUNERAL HOME.
