Elizabeth Seabrook Hills, 18 died Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at her home on Johns Island. She was the beloved daughter of Gervais and Sharon Hills and sister of Sarah and Gervais. Elizabeth was a recent graduate of Porter Gaud School where she received The Faculty Award. She was a member of The 2002 Championship Varsity Soccer Team and a member of the art council. Elizabeth was an active member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Johns Island. She was loved and will be sadly missed by her grandparents, Rosemary Hartnett of Charleston and Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Whilden Hills of John's Island, great grandmother, Dorothy McEntee of Colorado, aunts, uncles, great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

BROOM, Jr., Walter
Walter F. Broom, Jr., 90, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., a retired Civil Service Engineer with the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at the Franke Home in Mount Pleasant. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Mr. Broom was born in Lancaster, S.C., the son of Walter F. Broom, Sr. and Julia Killian Broom. He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina, and later, an M.S. in Sanitary Engineering from Georgia Tech. He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served in the Navy Seabees. He was a Registered Professional Engineer and an active member of Sullivans Island Baptist Church for 48 years. A donation in lieu of flowers may be made to Sullivans Island Baptist Church, 1753 Central Avenue, Sullivans Island, S.C. 29482.
Mr. Broom and his family lived in Thailand for two years before settling on Sullivans Island where they lived for 40 years. He is fondly remembered for his poetry and fanciful woodworking.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Sherer Broom at The Franke Home, a daughter, Harriet B. Anderson of Ormand Beach, FL, three sons, Walter F. Broom; III of Elgin, S.C. Joseph A. Broom of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and William G. Broom of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., one sister, Essie Broom Green of Winnsboro, S.C., el;even grandchildren and seven great grandchildren
DANIELSON, Wesley
Wesley Osborne Danielson, 75, widow of Eric G. Danielson, of Isle of Palms, S.C. died Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at her residence. All funeral services will be Private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Mrs. Danielson was born in Bridgeport, Conn., a daughter of Charles and Ida K. Osborne. She was a 1944 graduate of Central High School, Bridgeport Conn., and retired from Bodine Corporation as an Administrative Secretary. She formerly worked as secretary for Island Realty and Wild Dunes.
Surviving are two sons, Charles E. Danielson, MD of Wayne, Maine and Thomas O. Danielson of Mt. Pleasant, SC, one sister, Michelle Davenport of Aptos, CA and two grandchildren, Eric and Andrea Danielson.
