Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 29, 2002, Mary Greenfield Merritt Davis, residence Charleston, S.C. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service, Tuesday July 2, 2002 at 11 o'clock in Grace Episcopal Church. Interment Church Columbarium. Friends may call Monday between 5 and 7 o'clock at 36 Murray Blvd.
Mrs. Davis was born September 4, 1913 in Clarksville, Tenn., the daughter of Vernon and Mary Bringhurst Merritt. She attended Randolph Macon Women's College and graduated with a BA Degree from the University of Alabama. She earned a Masters Degree from Winthrop University and taught at Francis Marion College from 1972-1984 when she moved to Charleston, S.C.
She was predeceased by a daughter Mary Davis Atherton of Washington, D.C. She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Davis Vinel of Bluffton, S.C. and Charlotte Davis Fairey of Charleston, S.C. as well as 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 98 Wentworth St., Charleston, S.C. 29401 or the charity of one's choice.

WALTZ, Robert
SMOAKS - Mr. Robert L. "Robbie" Waltz, 83, of 149 Jewell Avenue, died Friday at Oakwood Health Care Center. Graveside services with Masonic Rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Smoaks Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Grady Garris, Rev. Glen Buie, and Rev. Don Clement officiating and directed by the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home.
Mr. Waltz was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Marion Waltz and Emma Spigner Waltz. He was a retired welder with the Charleston Naval Shipyard and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served in Okinawa. He was a 50 year member of Smoaks Masonic Lodge #231 and was a member of Smoaks Baptist Church, where he was a former Deacon.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Jewell Smith Waltz, a son, Robert G. "Bobby" Waltz of Smoaks, a daughter, Ann W. Padgett of Smoaks and her husband Graham, a son-in-law, James Franklin Bunton, five grandchildren, Jimmy Bunton, Chris Bunton, Joy B. Craven, Shan Padgett, and Crystal Padgett Warren, 3 great-grandchildren, Nicole Bunton, Danielle Bunton, and Jordan Craven. He was predeceased by a daughter, Grace Bunton.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday at the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME.
MOSLEY, Hallie
BRUNSON - Mr. Hallie W. "Red" Mosley, 73, died early Saturday morning in the Hampton Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness.
Mr. Mosley was born in Hampton County, September 11, 1928 a son of the late Hallie and Annie Smith Mosley. He had retired from B&S Dry Cleaners, in Hampton, had served in the Army, and was a member of the American Legion Post #108 in Hampton and the West End Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Leoris Bishop Mosley of Brunson; one son, Randy Mosley of Yemassee; two daughters, Sharon Bailey of Guyton, Ga. and Marlene Henderson of Brunson; two brothers, K.P. Mosley and Tom Mosley both of Hampton; and three sisters, Annie Webb of Barnwell, Mary Frances DeLoach of Estill and Catherine Sauls of Hampton. There are 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME in Hampton, conducted by Rev. Buddy Presley, with burial in the Hampton cemetery.
Friends may call at the Chapel in Hampton from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and Sunday until the hour of services.

COWARD - Mr. Robert David Jones, 59, died Friday, June 28, 2002.
Mr. Jones was born in Florence County, a son of the late Daniel James and Thelma McKnight Jones. He retired from ARS of Florence, S.C.
Survivors include his two sons, Ricky (Sherrie) Jones of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and Danny Jones of Effingham, S.C.; one brother, Billy (Judy) Jones of Coward, S.C. and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2002, at Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church, Coward, S.C.
The family will have visitation from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Brockington Funeral Home, Lake City, S.C.

Miss Marian G. Judy, 81, of 1000 Live Oak Drive, Orangeburg, S.C. died Friday at The Methodist Oaks.
Graveside services will be held Monday, July 1, 2002 at 11 a.m. in Memorial Park cemetery, with the Rev. Kermit Shrawder and Rev. Henry Judy officiating.
Miss Judy was born in Norway, S.C., a daughter of the late Duncan T. Judy & Nellie Mae Hutto Judy. She was a retired federal employee having worked with Department of Energy. She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Columbia. She was a member of Circle #3, The Fellowship Sunday School Class and United Methodist Women.
Survivors include 2 nieces, Anita Judy Martin, Orangeburg and Sharon Judy, Ashburn, Ga.; two nephews, Tarry Judy, Orangeburg, and Greg Judy, Ashburn, Ga.; a number of great-nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Judy was predeceased by two brothers, Lamar Judy and Dalton Judy.

Craig Lewis England, 55, of Charleston and former resident of Hilton Head Island, S.C. died Friday, June 28, 2002 at a local hospital. Born April 13, 1947 in Roaring Spring, Pa. he was the son of the late Kenneth B. and Marie England (nee Ruggles). Mr. England, a financial planner, owned and operated the England Company. He is survived by his wife Margaret M. England (nee Michael); two sons, B. Scott England, Raleigh, N.C. and Kenric M. England, Gaithersburg, Md.; three brothers, Carl England, York, Pa.; Kenton England, Hilton Head Island, S.C.; and William England, Roaring Spring, Pa.; four sisters, Barbara Locke, Trenton, Fla., Susan Hoover, Martinsburg, Pa., Patricia England, Roaring Springs, Pa. and Gina Hershberger, Hartford, Ct.; and two grandchildren.
