KING, Elizabeth
GEORGETOWN - Elizabeth Meggett King, 82, died Tuesday, June 25, 2002, in Prince George Healthcare Center in Georgetown.
Miss King was born in Georgetown on February 15, 1920, a daughter of the late Richard Thomas King and Julia Meggett King. She grew up in Georgetown and was a graduate of Winyah High School and the University of South Carolina. Miss King also received a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. She worked with the American Red Cross for a number of years and retired from the South Carolina Department of Health as State Director of Services for Handicapped Children. Miss King was a member of Georgetown Presbyterian Church and was active in the Miriam Circle of the Georgetown Presbyterian Women.
Surviving are a sister, Margaret K. Harvey of Georgetown; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Memorial services will be 4 o'clock Friday afternoon, June 28, 2002, at the graveside in Elmwood cemetery. Inurnment will follow under the direction of the GEORGETOWN CHAPEL OF MAYER FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Georgetown Presbyterian Church, 558 Black River Rd., Georgetown, S.C. 29440 or the charity of one's choice.
FISHER, Sidney
Entered into eternal rest on the evening of June 25, 2002, Sidney Gordon Fisher. Residence, Charleston, S.C. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Friday at 12 noon in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Interment, private.
Mr. Fisher was born May 31, 1922 in Columbus, Georgia, the son of Mike C. Fisher and Fannie Gordon Fisher. He was the owner and operator of the Charleston Wiping Rag Company. He was a graduate of Clemson University and served in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II.
He is survived by two brothers, Edward J. Fisher of Charlotte, N.C. and Phillip B. Fisher of Charlotte, N.C.

The relatives and friends of Mozell L. Browder Osborne, widow of Leon H. Osborne, are invited to attend her funeral services in J. McCLELLAN, R.P.
Rufus Pegues (Chief) McClellan died at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home on June 24, 2002.
He was born in McClellanville, SC, July 3, 1909, son of the late Dr. Edward A. and Lucy Pegues McClellan.
Preceded by his wife, Miriam Kelly McClellan. Survived by one daughter, Elizabeth M. Fleming, and her husband, Mack G. Fleming, of Seneca, SC; two grandchildren, Katharine L. Dukes of Austin, Texas and John McClellan Fleming of Washington, DC; one great grandson, Caleb McClellan Dukes of Austin, Texas; one brother, Archibald J. McClellan of Florence, SC; and one nephew, Robert E. McClellan of Greenville, SC.
Chief McClellan was a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy, Washington, DC and spent forty-one years in law enforcement in South Carolina. He served with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, rising to the rank of Lieutenant, until 1959 when he became Chief of Police in Greenwood, SC; and in 1962 he became Chief of Security and Harbor Master of the S.C. Ports Authority in Charleston, SC until his retirement in 1974.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in World War II; was past President and life member of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Association; a member of American Legion Post 184, Campbell Nursing Home, Anderson, SC; and member of Hibben United Methodist Church, Mount Pleasant, SC.
The funeral service for Chief Rufus McClellan will be Thursday, June 27, 2002 at the Graveside, Wappetaw Presbyterian Church cemetery at 2:00 o'clock. Friends may visit with the family at the graveside from 1:00 until time of service.

SULLIVAN, Dr. Edgar
Dr. Edgar N. "Red" Sullivan, age 86, of 103 Devon Road, died Wednesday, July 26th, 2002 at his home.
He was born in Statesburg, Sumter County, SC, and was the son of the late Dr. Mark Dunklin Sullivan and Elizabeth Frierson Sullivan.
Dr. Sullivan was a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
He was a veteran of W.W. II, having served 5 years on active duty in Europe.
In 1948, he moved to Clinton with his wife, the late Henrietta Barnwell Sullivan. He practiced family medicine at Hayes Hospital and Bailey Memorial Hospital until his retirement in 1980.
He was an Episcopalian and a founding member of All Saint's Episcopal Church in Clinton.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Mark Dunklin Sullivan, II and a sister, Penelope McDavid Sullivan.
He is survived by three sons: Dr. James Nelson Sullivan and wife, Peggy of Joelton, TN; Harry Barnwell Sullivan and wife, Sharon of Kinards, SC; and William McLeod Sullivan of San Rafael, CA; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday morning at All Saint's Episcopal Church in Clinton. The burial service will be Friday at 4:30 p.m. at the St. John's Episcopal Church on Johns Island, SC.
The family will be at the home in Clinton.

Mrs. Driggers was born January 22, 1926 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late John Walter Ault and Mary Lease Mathewes Ault. She was a homemaker.

Linda Dianne Rauch, 54, wife of Lloyd L. Rauch of Summerville, died Tuesday, June 26, 2002 at her residence.

Survivors include her mother of Hanahan, SC and father of Luray, Va., her husband, Lloyd L. Rauch; one daughter, Patricia Sparks both of Summerville, SC; and one granddaughter, Heather Parrish of Russellville, AL. She was predeceased by one daughter; Dianne Hayes and one granddaughter; Stacey Parrish.

KING, Mary
Mary Lelia King, 74, wife of Cmdr. Robert A. King, USN (RET), died at her residence in Charleston on Tuesday, June 25, 2002. Mrs. King was born Sunday, June 29, 1928 in Tampa, FL, the daughter of James L. and Mary Kate Calhoun King. She attended high school in Tampa, FL and the University of South Carolina. Mrs. King was raised in Columbia, SC by her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Rose. She lived in numerous locations around the world and she and her husband settled in Charleston in 1967. Mrs. King was the former Assistant Society Editor for The State Paper, and formerly with the Public Relations Department of the Federal Reserve Bank in Richmond, VA. She was a member and former President of Delta Delta Delta Sorority, The Junior League of Charleston, and the Carolina Assembly.
The relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 28, 2002 at St. Philips Episcopal Church. Friends may call at the residence, 30 North Adgers Wharf, Thursday, June 27, 2002 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
