PADGETT, Jenny
HAMPTON - Mrs. Jenny Black Padgett, wife of Mr. Thomas F. Padgett of 730 Wagon Wheel Road, Hampton, SC died Thursday at Roper Hospital. She was born October 3, 1934 in Denmark, SC, daughter of the late Tobias B. Black and Ketural Hartzog. She was a homemaker, a member of Sandy Run Baptist Church and the Croketville Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas F. Padgett; one son, Thomas F. Padgett, Jr. of Hampton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie and Bobby Lee of Hampton, and Gail and Harold Buzzell of Hampton. Grandchildren are Melissa Watkins, Hampton; Tara Tuten, Estill; Jayson Rappoccio of Tampa, Fla.; Jonathon Buzzell of Hampton; and seven great-grandchildren: Blake, Tyler, Katelyn, Sarah, Taylor, Dylan, and Marci.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, graveside at Sandy Run cemetery. Conducted by Rev. Paul Reid. Visitation will be 7:00 til 9:00 PM at PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME, HAMPTON, SC.

BOWICK, Lyne
Lyne-Noelle de Leeuw Bowick, 42, of Charleston, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, following an illness. Mrs. Bowick was born September 5, 1959 in Montreal Canada. She was the co-owner and founder of Desktrade, a financial services company. Mrs. Bowick's career was distinguished by being the first female member of the New York Stock Exchange. She also worked as a trader on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. She also worked for five years as an advertising executive. She was a graduate of Concordia University in Montreal Canada.
She is survived by her parents, Daniel A. and Huguette Crevier deLeeuw of Montreal Canada, her husband, Mark Bowick of Charleston, a son, Alexandre M. Bowick of Charleston, a brother, Francis deLeeuw of Montreal. Friends and family members are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, June 16, 2002 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bowick will be held Monday, June 17, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 150 Wentworth St. Committal services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Hartnett was of the Catholic faith, a graduate of Bishop England High School and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a retired Ships Suit Inspector with the Mayport, Florida Shipyard.
He is survived by his wife of Goose Creek, S.C.; a daughter, Angie Gaston of Goose Creek, S.C.; a son, Jimmy Hartnett of Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers, Jimmy Hartnett of Charleston, S.C., Tommy Hartnett of Kansas City, Mo. and Richard Hartnett of Savannah, Ga.; and three grandsons.

Mr. Redmon was born February 17, 1930 in Wartburg, Tenn., the son of the late Perry and Winnie Newberry Redmon. Mr. Redmon was a member of Northside Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1947 until 1968 where he retired as Petty Officer 1st Class. After retiring from the Navy he served as a sanitation foreman with the City of Goose Creek retiring in 1993.
He is survived by three daughters, Theressa D. Prince of Goose Creek, S.C., Tonja R. Lowery of Moncks Corner, S.C. and Dana K. Redmon of Goose Creek, S.C.; four brothers, Tommy Redmon, Glen Redmon, Lewis Redmon and Herbert Redmon all of Wartburg, Tenn.; three sisters, Rosezella Schubert, Gladys Redmon and Mary Ellen Laymance all of Wartburg, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Redmon was preceded in death by a brother, Willie J. Redmon.

John Richter was born in Charleston, S.C., the son of Rexford L. Richter and Artimisha Eula Lee Curtis. He was a member of Ashley River Baptist Church. He served during WWII with the U.S.Navy. He served for 20 years in the U.S. Navy and retired as a First Class Petty Officer. He was a member of the Omar Temple, Orange-Charlestown Lodge, Scottish Rite, York Rite, and Square and Level.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred J. Dean Richter of Charleston, S.C.; one son, John R. Richter of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one daughter, Deborah Crowley Richter of Charleston, S.C.; one sister, Janice R. Galloway of Charleston, S.C.; four grandchildren, John P. Crowley, II, Tiffany J. Smoak, John R. Richter, Jr. and Carolina F. Crowley; one great-granddaughter, Ashlyn V. Crowley; many nieces and nephews.
