WILSON, Hazel
HOLLY HILL - Mrs. Hazel Franklin Wilson, 83, of 1137 Bennett Circle, Holly Hill, died Wednesday at her residence.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2002 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Behr officiating. The casket will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Fairview Baptist Church cemetery, Union, S.C.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Union County a daughter of the late Benjamin Brian Franklin and Mattie Wilson Franklin. She was a retired teacher's assistant with the Holly Hill Public Schools. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Ladies Sunday School Class, and a member of the extension ministry. She was an avid bridge player and the widow of Robert J. "R.J." Wilson, Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Elaine W. Irvin of Summerville, and Mrs. John (Cathy) Skelley of Summerton; son, Robert J. Wilson, III of Greenville; nine grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Mr. Randolph K. Hutchinson, 68, died Wednesday at 214 Beaufort Street, Summerville, S.C. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2002 at the chapel of the JENKIN'S FUNERAL HOME, SUMMERVILLE. Interment will follow in Brownville cemetery.
Mr. Hutchinson was born in Summerville, a son of the late Thomas and Kathleen Hutchinson. He was the brother of Clayneal (Harvey) Watson, Anna Hutchinson, Thelma Wright, Sadie (Nathaniel) Tucker, Gertrude (Herbert) Myers, Barbara Samuel, Richard (Dorothy) Hutchinson.

Mr. Kirk was born June 22, 1929 in Colbert, Georgia, the son of the late James Albert and Susie Edwards Kirk. Mr. Kirk was a member and junior deacon of Cooper River Baptist Church. He was retired from Texaco Inc. after 43 years of service. He devoted many years of coaching to Dixie Youth Baseball in North Charleston, and played in the Industrial Fast Pitch Softball League and the Church Fast Pitch softball league as a pitcher for many years.
Surviving are his wife of North Charleston, S.C.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Joy Kirk of North Charleston, S.C., Kevin and Linda Kirk of Charleston, S.C.; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Keith Day of Goose Creek, S.C.; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Kirk, Kristina Kirk, Katie Frampton, Lauren Kirk, Matthew Kirk, Jennifer Dockery and Jordan Day; two step-grandchildren, Amy Marietti and Jason Mallardi; and two step-great-grandchildren, Cody and Cailyn Marietti.
HICKS, Anna
Anna Carolyn Hicks, of 674 Pelzer Drive, Mount Pleasant; S.C. died June 5, 2002.
Mrs. Hicks was born in South Bend, Ind. on September 8, 1926. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Coker College and a M.A.T. from the Citadel. Mrs. Hicks taught in private and public schools for over 20 years. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Everard R. Hicks, two children, J. Dianne Tennyson, a local art teacher and J. Marc Hicks, a dentist in Florence, S.C., five grandchildren: Jeremy and Jonathan Hicks, Sarah, Rebekah, and Anna Tennyson.
Mrs. Hicks was an active member of the Mount Pleasant Seventh-day Adventist Church.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 9 at 3:00 p.m., at the Mt. Pleasant Seventh-day Adventist Church, located on the corner of Bennett and Hibben Street, in the old village in Mt. Pleasant. All friends are invited to the memorial service.

Gloria Maria Marchesi Silva, 72, of Charleston, formerly of New York and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. died Tuesday, June 4th at a local hospital. She was the daughter of the late George J. and Delia Roscelli Marchesi. Mrs. Silva was married
to the late Dr. Robert A. Silva. She was a graduate of Good Counsel Academy in Whiteplains, N.Y. and received her Bachelors in Biology in 1950 and then received her Masters in Genetics in 1951 from the Fordham University. Mrs. Silva is survived by her son, Mark Silva of Charleston, two daughters, Cindy Aldridge of Landenberg, Penn. and Melanie Craven of W. Harrison, N.Y. Four grandchildren also survive her. Anna Carolyn Hicks, age 75, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at Amity, Arkansas.
She is survived by her husband, Everard R. Hicks of Mount Pleasant; one son, Jonathan Marc Hicks of Florence; one daughter, Jennifer Dianne Tennyson of Mount Pleasant; three brothers and one sister.

HAYES, Therrell
Therrell Elizabeth Owens Hayes, 82, widow of Louis L. Hayes, died Wednesday morning, June 5, 2002, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2002, at the First Pentcostal Holiness Church of Andrews. Burial directed by the ANDREWS CHAPEL OF MCKENZIE FUNERAL HOME will be in the Andrews Memorial cemetery.
Mrs. Hayes was born in Lake City, S.C., on September 15, 1919, the daughter of Jessie DeLeon Owens and Carrie Elizabeth Haselden Owens. She was an Andrews resident for over 60 years; a retired clerk of Stern's Dept. Store in Andrews; and a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Andrews where she past served as a Sunday School Teacher and was in the Women's Ministry.
She was predeceased by her husband; two brothers, Curtis DeLeon Owens and Lewis Junior Owens.
Surviving are: one daughter, Dorothy "Dot" Elizabeth H. Ammons of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Buford Franklin Owens of Lumberton, N.C.; two grandchildren, Elizabeth A. Murray and Stephen C. Ammons; four great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Murray, Ben Murray, Joshua Murray, and Jacob Ammons.
