Rayner Lee Lewis, Jr., 73, husband of Pauline Smith Lewis, of Summerville, S.C. died Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held at the Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Chapel, Vidalia, GA, Friday morning, June 7, 2002 at 11 o'clock. Burial will be in Pinecrest cemetery in Vidalia, GA.

GREEN POND - Mr. Lewis Glen Ritter, 91, of 2436 Clover Hill Road died Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow in the Church cemetery, Directed by THE BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME.
Mr. Ritter was born in Ritter, a son of the late Johnny Ritter and Kate Ritter Ritter. He was a retired carpenter with Litchfield & Griffin Construction Company and was a member of Unity Lodge #55. A. F. M. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church where he was a former Sunday School Superintendent. He was first married
to the late Gladys P. Ritter.
Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn Champion of Walterboro, sons Wayne Ritter of Atlanta, Georgia and Allan Ritter of Green Pond. A sister, Effie Griffin of Walterboro, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson, Glen Wayne Ritter.

RUFFIN, S.C.- Yvonne Renee Lewis Walden Deyounks, 31, of Ruffin, S.C. died Friday, May 31, 2002.
The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6,2002, in Buckhead United Methodist Church, Ruffin, S.C. Burial will be in Westview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Deyounks was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and was the daughter of Vernell Sheppard Lewis and the late Roger Brown Lewis. She was a member of Buckhead United Methodist Church.
She attended Ruffin High School and received a Nursing Assistant Certificate from the State of Maryland, Board of Nursing.
Surviving are: her husband, Roger Lamar Deyounks of Jacksonville, Fla.; one son, Desmond Dwayne Walden, Ruffin, S.C.; her mother, Vernell S. Lewis, Ruffin, S.C.; one sister, Tawana D. Lewis, Ruffin, S.C.; a grandmother, Margaret Brown Lewis, Harrisburg, Pa., a grandfather, Talmadge Lewis, Savannah, Ga. and her mother-in-law, Phyllis Henderson, Jacksonville, Fla.

HENRIKSON, Leo
Leo Vernel Henrikson, age 83, died Monday, June 3, 2002 at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on March 19, 1919 in Charleston, South Carolina to Leo Felix and Charlotte Fulcher Henrikson.
Leo grew up in Charleston, where he attended military prep school at Bamburg, South Carolina and attended Lees McRea College in North Carolina where he played college football. He later played for a short time with the Pittsburg Steelers, prior to WWII. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII in Europe. After the service he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he was appointed Secretary-Treasurer to Local 881 and served in that capacity for 35 years and later as a lobbyist.
He moved to Logandale in 1996. In 1998, he joined the L.D.S. Church, and served faithfully secretary in his High Priests Group, as a Stake Missionary and as an Temple Ordinance Worker. Leo loved golfing, reading, animals, artwork, and calligraphy. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and had a great love for his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Joan, of Logandale; one son, Viktor (Swede) Henrikson, living in the Philippines; six step children; 18 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two nephews, Matthew H. and Mark A. Henrikson both of Charleston, South Carolina. One brother preceded him in death.
The family and friends who had the honor and privilege to know and love Leo, will feel a tremendous loss.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the Logandale L. D. S. Stake Center. Friends and family are invited to attend the viewing at 9:30 a. m. at the chapel. Interment will be in the Logandale cemetery under the direction of MOAPA VALLEY MORTUARY.
