Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, Friday, June 7, 2002 at eleven o'clock.
Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Stuhr's North Area Chapel, Thursday afternoon from five until seven o'clock.
Born May 15, 1908 in Calhoun County, SC, Mrs. Stone was the daughter of Kennerly and Viola Bay Hydrick Hooker.
She was a homemaker and a member of Cherokee Place United Methodist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Stone are a son, H. Donald Stone of Mt. Pleasant, three sisters, Sudie Baker of Atlanta, Georgia, Essie Mae Lemmon of Winnsboro, SC and Moxley Cothran of Chapin, SC, a step-grandson, Philip E. Crapse of Mt. Pleasant, SC and 23 nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Cherokee Place United Methodist Church, 2105 Cosgrove Avenue, N. Charleston, SC 29405 or to Hospice of Charleston, 3896 Leeds Avenue, N. Charleston, SC 29405.
PACK, Linda
Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 4, 2002, Linda Marilyn Herndon Pack. Residence, Charleston, SC.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, Friday, June 7, 2002 at one-thirty.
Entombment will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens.

Born November 9, 1945 in Mt. Pleasant, Ms. Pack was the daughter of William Herndon and Mary Bennett Herndon. She was a homemaker.
Surviving Ms. Pack are a daughter, Katharine Baker Crocker of Jacksonville, Florida, three sisters, Myrtle Coutu of Summerville, Hazel Calcagni of N. Charleston and Maxine Helms of Summerville, three brothers, Francis Herndon of Mt. Pleasant, Raymond Herndon of N. Charleston and Douglas Herndon of Summerville, two grandchildren, Jason Crocker and Amber Crocker, both of Jacksonville, Florida and Thomas Swyers, Special Companion.

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of Tuesday, June 4, 2002, Mr. Gerald L. Roper, Sr., residence, 1263 Marvin Avenue, Charleston, SC.
He is the beloved father of Monique R. Dallas (David) of Fort Riley Ks, Gerald L. Roper, Jr. of Richmond, Va., beloved grandfather of Keith, Kevin and Anthony of Fort Riley, Ks, and Little Miss Kayla of Richmond, Va, beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Roper, beloved brother of William (Dorothy), of Atlanta, Ga., Rufus (Cheryl), of Colorado Ronald (Elouise) of Charleston, Herbert (Rosalee) of New York, Carol Robinson (David) of Charleston, and Andrea Roper of James Island, a host of nieces and nephews, friends and family.
Funeral services are held today, Thurs, June 6, 2002, 1pm, Emanuel AME Church.

BROWN, Harvey
Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 5, 2002, Harvey H. Brown, widower of Bernice Wilson Brown and Ethelyn Bryan Brown. Residence, Mount Pleasant, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services Friday at 2 o'clock in Citadel Square Baptist Church. Interment, Riverview Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the Church.
Mr. Brown was born November 11, 1908 in Wagner, SC, the son of James Melton Brown and Ethel Esther Livingston Brown. He was a supervisor with the Charleston Naval Shipyard and retired in 1962. He was a Life Deacon with Citadel Square Baptist Church, where he was the Sunday School General Secretary for over 30 years. He was a member of the Charleston Lions Club an the Mariners Lodge #2, formerly the Strict Observance A.F.M. #73.
He is survived by one son, James Robert Brown and his wife Ann of Trenton, SC, one daughter, Jane Brown Acker and her husband Jerry of Charleston, SC one sister, Bessie Lee Brown Gramling of Orangeburg, SC. He is predeceased by his 1st wife of over 50 years Bernice Wilson Brown and his 2nd wife Ethelyn Bryan Brown of 4 years and his brother Verdelle Brown.
Memorials may be made to Citadel Square Baptist Church, 328 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29403.

Born November 29, 1924 in Baltimore, Maryland, Mr. Kimball was the son of John M. Kimball, Sr. and Catherine Tully Kimball. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer, US Navy (20 yrs) and retired Southern Facilities Engineering Command, with a total of 51 years of service to the US Government.
Mr. Kimball was a member of the Fleet Reserve Mendal Rivers Chapter #50 and a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
Surviving Mr. Kimball are his wife, Elizabeth B. Kimball of N. Charleston, two sons, John Michael Kimball of Beaufort, SC and Lance Andrew Kimball of N. Charleston, a brother, Clifford Kimball of Baltimore, Md, a sister, Kathleen Saxton of Michigan City, In and five grandchildren.

The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Stewart are invited to attend his funeral services in Cooper River Baptist Church, Thursday morning, June 6, 2002 at 11 o'clock.
