CADES - Rebecca Flagler Chandler, 91, widow of Robert Emmett Chandler, died Tuesday in a Kingstree hospital.
Mrs. Chandler was born in Williamsburg Co., a daughter of the late James Cleveland and Nellie Montgomery Flagler. She was a retired Registered Nurse, having trained at Saunders Memorial Hospital in Florence. Mrs. Chandler was a member of Hebron Independent Church.
Surviving is a brother, Clarence O. Flagler of Manning; a sister, Eloise F. McConkey of Stow, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hebron United Methodist Church cemetery. WILLIAMSBURG FUNERAL HOME is in charge.

Agnita Wibbelsman Knapp, 79, wife of Wallace H. Knapp, of Summerville, S.C. died Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church, Friday morning, April 26, 2002 at 10 o'clock. The Rite of Christian Burial will be at Summerville cemetery. CONCORD, N.C. - Mrs. Grace George Williams, 84, a resident of the Manor House of Concord died Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at a local health care center.
A Memorial Service will take place 3:00 p.m. Friday at All Saints Episcopal Church, Rev. Fred Hoffman & Rev. Roger Butler officiating. Visitation after the service in the Church Parish Hall.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker; member of All Saints Episcopal Church; former Altar Guild member and Sunday School teacher. She was an avid gardener and golfer. Mrs. Williams was born June 27, 1917 in Monroe, La. a daughter of the late Morgan and Grace Fuqua George.
Survivors include her husband, the late Robert P. Williams, Sr. who died October of 1997; three sons, Robert P. "Robbo" Williams, Jr. of Concord, Charles W. Brewer of Sullivans Island, S.C. and George M. Brewer of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; five grandchildren, Robert P. "Rob" Williams, III, Benjamin B. Williams, Anna D. Williams, Kelly Grace McArthur, Kristen Elizabeth Brewer; 2 great-grandchildren.

Richard Form, 79, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at a hospital in North Charleston, S.C. Born April 13, 1923 in New York, New York. He was the son of George Joseph Form and Elizabeth Form (nee Bergen). A 20 year veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Form was a pipe fitter. After retiring he was employed as a plumber. He was a member of American Legion Post 166, VFW, and the Fleet Reserve. His sister, Agnes Young, Goose Creek; brother George Form, Albuquerque, New Mexico; niece Donna E. Tinius and her husband Jack, Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; and three nephews, Brian Young, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Dustin Yunng and his wife Leeann, Asheville, N.C.; and John Young, Goose Creek, S.C. survive him. Mr. Fowler died Tuesday, April 23, 2002, in Columbia. Born in Green Sea, he was a son of the late John W. Sr., and Mittie Pender Fowler. Mr. Fowler had resided in Georgia since the mid 1950's. A U.S. Army veteran with tours in Germany, he was a retired motel owner, cattle farmer, and auto-center operator. He was a graduate of Mullins High School where he was a member of the 1946 state championship football team and a forward on the 1949 state runner-up basketball team. Mr. Fowler was a member of First Baptist Church, Mullins.
Surviving are his daughters, Karen F. Crowe and her husband, Tim, and Mitzi F. Raymond and her husband Carl; grandsons Joey Fowler, Carl Joseph Raymond, and Stephen Raymond; granddaughter, Nicole Crowe; brothers, Paul Fowler, John Fowler, and Fred Fowler, all of Mullins; and daughter-in-law, Wanda Fowler of Barnsville, Ga. He was formerly married
to Sara Huggins Fowler, Mr. Fowler was predeceased by a son, Dan F. Fowler, Jr., a brother Joseph Clarence (J.C.) Fowler, and three sisters, Louise F. Parrott, Grace Fowler, and Joyce Fowler.

MCCUTCHEN, Margaret
HEMINGWAY, S.C. - Mrs. Margaret Sawyer McCutchen, of Pittsboro, N.C., died peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2002, at Alamance Healthcare Center after several years of declining health.
A native of Marion County, S.C., she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Sarah Lane Sawyer. She attended school in South Carolina and Florida and continued her education at Winthrop College with the study of public school music. She was married
to the late Joe Cunningham McCutchen of Williamsburg County, S.C., and took an active role in the Indiantown Community where they lived. Mrs. McCutchen was a member of the Indiantown Presbyterian Church and the church choir. She taught Sunday school and took part in visiting those in the community who were shut-ins or in need. Seeing the need for young people's involvement in church activities, she created and directed the Children's Choir and in the Indiantown School of that time, she conducted weekly music classes for the students.
In later years, Mrs. McCutchen resided briefly in Columbia, S.C., and was selected for membership in the Choral Society there. She subsequently moved to Summerville, S.C., which became her home for many years. She joined First Baptist Church and the church choir and took part in the annual Lowcountry Singing Xmas Tree production. She served as a music chairman of the Women's Christian Club for six years and as chairman of Summerville's Heart Fund drive for two years. She continued to further her talent in music by taking study courses in France and England. She also renewed a long-time interest in writing poetry and frequently attending poetry conventions. She was given a Best New Poet of 1988 award from the American Poetry Association and received several additional awards from other poetry groups. When she moved to Pittsboro, N.C., to be near family members, she continued to pursue her interest in this field.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Carscadden and her husband, Steve, of Leasburg, N.C.; Margaret Hamilton and her husband, Ernest, of Pittsboro, N.C.; and Sarah Joe Philley of Katy, Texas; four grandchildren, Sonja McKenzie, Elisabeth Reid, Jennifer Walt and Alexander Philley and one great-grandchild, Elisabeth Walt.
Services will be held, 12 noon, Friday, April 26, 2002, at the Indiantown Presbyterian Church and conducted by Dr. Paul Bonham. Burial will be in the church cemetery. After the service, the family will receive relatives and friends at the Fellowship Building on the church grounds.
