Mrs. Lane was born December 28, 1927 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John Ontko and Ann Bierer Ontko. She graduated from Uniontown Sr. High School. She was a member of the Cathedral Church of St. Luke and St. Paul.
She retired as an Internal Auditor with Charleston County. She was a member of the Eastern Star #192 Azalea Chapter.
She is survived by one daughter, Cathy Lane Ollek of James Island, S.C.; one son, Louis Henry "Hank" Lane, Jr., of Johns Island, S.C.; 2 sisters, Mary Lucille Hustwayte of Dale City, Virginia and Elizabeth O. Smiley of Uniontown, Pennsylvania; 3 grandchildren, Bryan C. Ollek, Crystal O. Braddock, Misty L. Lane and 4 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Marshall was born May 5, 1942 in Sumter, S.C., a son of the late Faris O. Marshall and Atha Melton Marshall. He was a graduate of North Charleston High School in 1960 and a retired Maintenance Superintendent with Westvaco.
Surviving are his wife of Summerville, S.C.; one son, William Harold Marshall, Jr. and wife Andra Marshall both of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Laurie Marshall Marx and husband Bill Marx both of Summerville, S.C. and Melissa Marshall Hutchinson and husband Tim Hutchinson both of Summerville, S.C.; one brother, Carroll Marshall of Summerville, S.C.; three sisters, Betty Priester of Goose Creek, S.C., Gladys Lee of Summerville, S.C. and Faye Cercopeley of Eutawville, S.C.; three grandchildren, B.J. and Savannah Marx and Peyton Hutchinson all of Summerville, S.C.

BRANTON, Jr., Thomas
Thomas E. Branton, Jr., 38, of Moncks Corner, a Building and Grounds Specialist II with the Medical University of South Carolina, died Saturday at a Mt. Pleasant hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL. Burial will be in Providence Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Branton was born April 6, 1964, at Berkeley County, S.C., a son of Thomas E. Branton, Sr., and Beverly Paschal Branton. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Macedonia High School. He attended the University of South Carolina and Trident Technical College. He was the Vice President of the South Carolina Callers Association. He was a square dance caller for the Frontier Twirlers Square Dance Club of Walterboro and President of Dorchester Ramblers Square Dance Club of Harleyville. He was a line dance instructor for the Twilight Twirlers Square Dance Club of North Charleston, Wesley Whirlers Square Dance Club of Charleston and Fire House Squares of Ladson.
Surviving are his fiancée, Melissa Leigh Dantzler of Walterboro, cousin, Jimmy Branton of Moncks Corner, many uncles and aunts, cousins and friends of the Square Dance Circles.
