Charles George Rider, 75, husband of Maxine N. Rider of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., died Sunday, April 14, 2002. The funeral service will be in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, at a later date.
Mr. Rider was born in McMechen, W.Va., a son of Charles A. and Laura H. Rider. He was a Chemical Operator with Allied Chemical Co., and was a member of Moundsville Baptist Church, Moundsville, W. Virginia. Mr. Rider was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Surviving are his wife of Mount Pleasant, two sons, Gary L. Rider and his wife Patty of Moundsville, W.Va., and Scott Rider and his wife, Janice of Mt. Pleasant, step-mother, Irene Rider of Moundsville, W.Va., one brother, Arthur Joseph of Taylorsville, Ky., two grandchildren, Rev. Gregory Rider of Atlanta, Ga., and Mandy Deagle and husband, David of Moundsville, W.Va., one step-granddaughter, Stacy Olzer of Ladson, S.C., and one step-great-granddaughter, Keyle Olzer of Mt. Pleasant.

Reeder, III of Johns Island, S.C.; three daughters, Ester Joann Perkins of North Charleston, S.C., Denise Pastre and Lorraine Ramsey, both of Summerville, S.C.; one brother, Franklin Herndon of Huger, S.C.; one sister, Jeanette Drose of Charleston, S.C.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

EUTAWVILLE - Mr. Arthur Murray Blount, 81, of 12936 Old Highway Number Six, Eutawville, S.C., died Saturday at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
The funeral will be 4 p.m., April 15, 2002, in the chapel of AVINGER FUNERAL HOME OF HOLLY HILL with the Rev. Bruce Rucker officiating. Burial will be in the Eutawville cemetery.
Mr. Blount was born in Ulmer, S.C., a son of the late Andrew Jackson Blount and Argenia Rivers Blount. He was an Army veteran of World War II in the European Theater. He received the Bronze Star with the Oak Leaf Cluster. He was a retired merchant and a member of the Eutawville United Methodist Church. He was the widower of Mary Campbell Blount.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Alice B. Atkinson of Eutawville; sister, Mrs. Edna Bell of Laurens; brothers, A.J. Blount of North Charleston, and grandsons, Buck Atkinson of Holly Hill and Shawn Atkinson of Eutawville; great-granddaughter, Kaitlin Atkinson of Holly Hill; great-grandson, Rivers Atkinson of Holly Hill.

HEMINGWAY - Kathleen Marsh Tindall, 65, died Friday, April 12, 2002, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2002, at the Outland Church of God. Burial will follow in the Old Field cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m., Sunday, April 14, 2002, at her residence on Jones Ave., in the Pleasant Hill Community.
Mrs. Tindall was born January 12, 1937, in Georgetown County, a daughter of Elby Marsh and Florrie Miller Marsh. She was educated in the Georgetown County School System, a machine operator with the Elastic Corporation of America, and was a member of the Steep Bottom Baptist Church.
Surviving are, two sons, Mark Tindall of Georgetown; and Michael Tindall of Hampton; three daughters, Darla Deal of Cleveland, Tenn.; Peggy Avant of Johnsonville; and Darlene Tyler of Hemingway; a sister, Jo Anna Jones of Pleasant Hill; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Ashley Eugene Davidson, 95, of Ridgeville, widower of Georgia Muckelvaney Davidson, died Saturday morning in a North Charleston rehabilitation center.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 o'clock in James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will be in Givhans Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery, Ridgeville.

Mr. Davidson was born on January 10, 1907 in Dorchester County, a son of the late John Davidson and Ellen Creel Davidson. Mr. Davidson attended school in Cottageville and he was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his sons, Earl and George of Ridgeville, A. Eugene Davidson, Jr. and J. Floyd Davidson of Summerville; daughters, Gracie A. Creal of Summerville, Helen E. Tucker of Charleston, Margie D. Hancock of North Charleston; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Robert L. Davidson.

KOGER, JR., James
WALTERBORO - James Henry Koger, Jr., 83, a retired rural and city mail carrier for 30 years, died Friday at St. George Health Care Center.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, at Bethel Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. Lawrence Peebles.
Mr. Koger was born December 10, 1918, in Walterboro, a son of the late James Henry Koger and Susie Calfee Koger. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church and the Walterboro Lions Club.
Surviving are, his wife, Laveta Long Cook Koger, three sons, William Gary Koger of Aiken, Dr. James W. Cook of Vicksburg, Miss. and John R. Cook of Cape Coral, Fla., a sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Dean of Walterboro and six grandchildren.
