MOORE, Carol
Carol Jaffee Moore, 57, died Saturday, April 13, 2002, at home in Virginia Beach, VA.
Born September 15, 1944, in Charleston, S.C., Ms. Moore was the daughter of Rose Lipman Jaffee and the late Meyer Jaffee. She was a graduate of St. Andrews Parish High School and Conede Business School and attended the College of Charleston. She was a tax preparer and a former real estate agent.
She is survived by her mother of Charleston, two daughters, Kreela Moore of Virginia, and Kim M. Varchmin of Florida; one son, Mathew Moore of Virginia; two sisters, Janice J. Goldstein and Beverly J. Finkel of Charleston; one brother, David H. Jaffee of Charleston; 6 nephews, 3 nieces and her beloved companion, Charlie VanDusen of Virginia Beach.
Funeral services will be held graveside on Monday, April 22, 2002, at 2:00 pm at Huguenin Avenue cemetery.

MCMILLAN, Delores
The Charleston Connection For Better Living invites family and friends to Celebrate the Life of Reverend Delores F. McMillan, who made her transition on April 10, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Celebration of Life Services will take place at Unity Church of Charleston, 2535 Leeds Avenue, Charleston, S.C. on Sunday, April 21, 2002 at 4:00 p.m.
Rev. "Mac", or Rev. Dee" as she was affectionately known, served as minister of Christ Universal Temple (CUT) for many years. CUT is an affiliate of Universal Foundation for Better Living (UFBL), the Reverend Dr. Johnnie Coleman, President Emeritus, Reverend Dr. Mary A. Tumpkin, President. Rev "Dee" served as an outreach minister for UFBL, where she set up ministries in the United States; Guyana, South America; and Trinidad, West Indies. She was also a Bible teacher for Reverend Ike's Ministry.
In 1999 Rev. McMillan arrived in Charleston, SC where she was the Minister/Director of the Charleston Connection for Better Living. She interfaced with many people in this area, teaching classes for members, for ministers, and Bible Study at Unity Church of Charleston.
The Rev. McMillan left Charleston in December, 2001, to establish another ministry in Las Vegas, where she made a peaceful transition, surrounded by the love of her cherished Caretakers on Wednesday evening, April 10, 2002.
Celebration services will be held in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Chicago for this dynamic Bible Teacher Extraordinaire.
GREENE, John
John Mann Greene died April 12, 2002. Funeral services will be held today, Saturday, April 20, 2002, 1:00 p.m. in Montgomery, Alabama. Born to the proud parents of Billie and Mattie Lou Greene on January 25, 1958, John Mann Greene, brought a special light unto our lives.
John Mann Greene, joined into holy matrimony 1981 to Tonya W. Fulton. Together they had one daughter, Kiera La Ron Greene and one grand daughter, Shaniya Harmoni Arn A Ye`. John graduated from Troy State High School in Montgomery, Alabama. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1976 traveling to numerous countries as a Second Class Petty Officer. John later attended Trident Technical Community College in Charleston, SC in 1981 furthering his skills. He was employed by Braswell Shipyards as Certified Rigger, for 16 years. John joined the Christian family of Shiloh AME Church of N. Charleston, SC under watch care of the Rev. Johnny Gathers, Sr in 1981. He came to know Christ at any early age at Shiloh Baptist Church, Montgomery, Alabama. With loving and cherishable memories, he awaits for the others to follow: a loving and dear daughter, Kiera L. Greene and his granddaughter, Shaniya Harmoni of Charlotte, NC. parents, Mr Billie Greene, Sr and Mattie Lou Greene of Montgomery; sisters and brothers, Ruth Greene of Montgomery, Billie Greene, Vorhees, New Jersey; Henry Greene, Japan; James Earl Greene (Penny) Virginia Beach, Virginia, Paul Greene (Gwen) Columbia, SC; Mary M. HICKLIN, Robert
Robert Hampton "Bob" Hicklin, Sr., age 66, of 138 Doodle Hill Rd., St. Matthews died Friday, April 19, 2002. Services will be 2 PM Sunday, April 21, 2002 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Thomas Huggins officiating. Burial in West End cemetery. Pallbearers: Charles Coleman, Isaac Pendarvis, Griffin Miller, Jimmy Crosland, Mike Murrin, Steve Huffstetler, Ricky Edwards, Larry Cuttino, Bobby Hicklin, Jimmy Arant, John Bell, Arthur Fogle.
Mr. Hicklin was born in St. Matthews, SC, a son of the late O. Alex Hicklin, Sr. and Emma Crosland Hicklin. He was president of Hicklin Motor Line. Mr. Hicklin was a graduate of Carlisle Military School, Bamberg, SC. He was Director Emeritus of the South Carolina Trucking Association, a former member of the Advisory Board of Camden Military School. He was a former Advisory Committee member of the Midland and Calhoun Technical College Truck Driver Education, member of the ATA Safety Committee on Research and Environment in Washington, DC 1977-1981. He received Trailmobile Safety Director of the Year in 1975. Mr. Hicklin was a member of the American Trucking Association, a member of the Safety Council and was Past President of the Orangeburg Cattleman's Association. Mr. Hicklin served his Father's unexpired term as Highway Commissioner from 1981-1984. He was a member of First Baptist Church, St. Matthews, SC. Mr. Hicklin served in the South Carolina National Guard in 1953-1965.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Marian Pendarvis Hicklin, of the home; daughters, Mrs. Don A. (Winnie H.) Rickenbaker, Sr., St. Matthews, Mrs. James A. (Elizabeth H.) Gibbs, West Columbia; son, Robert H. Hicklin, Jr. and wife Carla, Lexington; sister, Mrs. Katherine H. McClam, Manning; 5 grandchildren, Lin Hair, III, St. Matthews, Mimi Rickenbaker, St. Matthews, Alan Rickenbaker, St. Matthews, Kristen Hair, West Columbia and Samantha Hicklin, Lexington.

Mrs. Christianson was born in Northwood, N.D., a daughter of Carl and Anna Gransberg.
