Surviving Mr. Jones are a daughter, Kimberly Jones of N. Charleston; two sisters, Brenda Phillips of California, Mary Ann Cumbee of Mt. Pleasant; and a brother, Steven Jones of Beaufort, SC.

Surviving are her husband of Hanahan, SC; three daughters, Mary Frances Rains of Hanahan, SC, Jackie Weaver of Hanahan, SC, Terri Pope of Hanahan, SC; one sister, Margaret Phillipps of Hickory, NC; four grandchildren, Brian Rains, Valerie Rains, Lea Anne Munson, and Richard Carbonaro.

Mrs. Jordan was born on February 5, 1957 in Norfolk, Virginia, a daughter of Edward Francis Jordan of North Charleston and the late Onella Marie Bratten Jordan. She attended Summerville High School. She was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving are her father of North Charleston; 3 daughters, Ashley Jordan of Ladson, Alexis Jordan of Ladson, Brandy Crider of Pasadena, TX; 1 brother, William Edward Jordan of North Charleston; 1 sister, Sharon Beauchemin of Charlotte, NC; 5 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Paula A. Jordan.

CARTER, Cleveland
MANNING - Cleveland Carter, 81, husband of Joyce Davis Carter, died Monday at his home in Manning.
Born November 2, 1920, in Walterboro, he was a son of the late John and Lautishia Fletcher Carter. He was a retired truck driver for Banks Construction in Charleston, and was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Davis Carter of Manning; two daughters, Vonnie Williams of Phiscal Forrest, N.C., and Melinda McLemore of Charleston; two sons, George Carter of Summerville and Mark Carter of Hanahan; eight grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, in Oak Grove cemetery in Manning. The Rev. C.S. Salter will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday evening, at Stephens Funeral Home in Manning, and at other times at the residence, 14635 Raccoon Road, Manning.

Barbara Ann Poulos Turner, 57, wife of Acie Turner of Mount Pleasant, SC, died Monday, September 2, 2002 in a local hospital. The funeral service will be Thursday, September 5, 2002 in J. Mrs. Turner was born in Mount Pleasant, SC, a daughter of Peter and Margaret S. Poulos. She retired from BP/Amoco as an Executive Assistant and was a member of Seacoast Community Church.
Surviving are her husband of Mount Pleasant; daughter, Donna Hutt of Mount Pleasant; son, Douglas Ricker of Milton, FL; two sisters, Marie Douglas of Miami, FL; Evelyn Burgess of Foley, AL; six brothers, Peter Poulos of Mt. Pleasant; Carter Poulos of North Charleston; Charles Poulos of Hanahan; Chris Poulos of Greenville; James Poulos of Goose Creek; and George Poulos of Hanahan; and five grandchildren.
GREGG, Margaret
Margaret Anna Misener-Weed Greeg, 84, of Pinopolis, a retired employee with Headquarters, Six Naval District, Charleston, S.C., after 20 years, died Monday at her residence.
The graveside funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 18, 2002, at 9 o'clock in Arlington National cemetery, Arlington, Va., according to RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner.
Mrs. Gregg was born May 16, 1918, in East Tawas, Mich., a daughter of Edson Misener and Murel Elizabeth McVicar Misener-Weed. She was a U.S. Navy veteran. She graduated from Detroit Business University. She was a member of the Carolina Art Association, Women's Association of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Navy League and the Naval Officer's Wives Club. She did volunteer work with the American Red Cross in Kenitra, Morocco, Veteran's Hospital in Charleston, S.C.; Charleston Symphony Orchestra, and the Charleston County School District. She was the widow of retired U.S. Navy Commander Thomas A. Gregg.
Surviving are her son, Alan Gregg of Hobe Sound, Fla.; daughter, Dr. Jane H. Pulling of Pinopolis; sister, Jane W. Leetch of Winter Springs, Fla.; two grandsons, Ian Matthew Gregg of Hobe Sound, Fla.; Thomas H. Higdon of Birmingham, Ala.; granddaughter, Catherine E. Bedard of Tampa, Fla.; great-grandson, Thomas Jean-Luc Bedard of Tampa, Fla.
