DORRELL, Jr., Ralph
KINGSTREE - Ralph M. Dorrell, Jr., 66, died Thursday at his residence.
Mr. Dorrell was born in Florence, S.C., a son of Ralph M. and Elizabeth Grimsley Dorrell. He graduated from Kingstree High School and was a farmer and a farm equipment mechanic. Mr. Dorrell was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, JoAnn Dorrell of Kingstree; two daughters, Deborah Catoe of Kingstree and Terri Bowen of Greer, S.C.; one son, Rusty Dorrell of Kingstree; two sisters, Imogene Hagwood of Orangeburg and Lizzie Dell McDonald of Kingstree; three brothers, James Ollie Dorrell of West Columbia, William Roland Dorrell of Albuquerque, N.M., and Archie Laverne Dorrell of Lexington and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Williamsburg Funeral Home with interment at Kingstree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday evening from 7 to 9. Eileen Catherine Kunz, 74, of Summerville, widow of Peter Joseph Kunz died Thursday morning in a North Charleston hospital.

Mr. Jonas was born May 10, 1917, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Edwin Rudolph and Matilda Blaser Jonas. He served in the U.S. Navy in W.W.II. He was a Plant Supervisor with Shuron Company.
Surviving are two daughters, Beth Michi of Mount Pleasant, S.C., Jackie Jonas of Elko, Nev., two sisters, Doris Cerosky and Geneva Ventura both of Santa Anna, Calif., and a Dear Friend, Bunny Shepherd of Barnwell, S.C. He had five grandchildren.
