TURNER, Rosalee
Entered into eternal rest on August 25, 2002, Rosalee Thackeray Turner, widow of Charles Edward Thackeray, Sr. Residence, Charleston, S.C. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside funeral service in Live Oak Memorial cemetery, Tuesday morning, August 27, 2002, at 11 o'clock. Visitation is private.
Mrs. Turner was born in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of John Robert Thackeray and Georgia Maree Thackeray. She was a homemaker and an Episcopalian. Mrs. Turner was retired from the South Carolina Society Hall.
Surviving are two sons, Charles Edward Turner, Jr., of Hollywood, S.C., and Bryan J. Turner of Charleston, S.C.; one sister, Lillian T. Milner of Charleston, S.C.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Darrell Turner; two brothers, Johnny and Lockey Thackeray, three sisters, Ruth Grooms, Cleo Massalon and Dorothy Miller.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Lutheran Hospice, 753 Johnnie Dodds Blvd., Suite 100, Mt. Pleasant, S.C. 29464.
