TURNER, Rosalee
Entered into eternal rest on August 25, 2002, Rosalee Thackeray Turner, widow of Charles Edward Thackeray, Sr. Residence, Charleston, S.C. Mrs. Turner was born in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of John Robert Thackeray and Georgia Maree Thackeray. She was a homemaker and an Episcopalian. Mrs. Turner was retired from the South Carolina Society Hall.
Surviving are two sons, Charles Edward Turner, Jr., of Hollywood, S.C., and Bryan J. Turner of Charleston, S.C.; one sister, Lillian T. Milner of Charleston, S.C.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Darrell Turner; two brothers, Johnny and Lockey Thackeray, three sisters, Ruth Grooms, Cleo Massalon and Dorothy Miller.
