Mr. Padgett was born February 28, 1920 in Charleston, SC, the son of Ivy Lewis Padgett and Emma Grace Harrison Padgett. He was a member of Folly Beach United Methodist Church. He retired as a Bridge Tender with the South Carolina Department of Transportation. He served with the US Army during W.W.II and the US Navy.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brandon was born February 24, 1955 in Charleston, SC, the son of Leo L. Brandon, Sr. and Eula Mae Smallwood Brandon. He was a crane operator with Republic Contracting Corporation.
He is survived by 4 sisters, Linda B. Hiott of Summerville, SC, Sandra I. Williams of Seymour, Tenn., Brenda B. Ashley of Hanahan, SC, Patricia Metts of North Charleston, SC; one brother, Leo L. Brandon, Jr. of Charleston, SC; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Gray was born May 2, 1943 in Decatur, Illinois, the son of Clyde Irwin Gray and Edna Eleanor Salisbury Gray. He was a member of Citadel Square Baptist Church. He attended Greenville College and was Superintendent with Sanders Brothers Construction Company.
He is survived by his wife of Folly Beach; his mother of Spring Arbor, Michigan; two sons, Todd Curtis Gray and his wife Kelly Anne of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Chad Chandler Gray and his wife Cari Lynn of Concord, Michigan; four sisters, Joyce Ann Gray, Phyllis Gray, Beverly Louise Gray, all of Spring Harbor, Michican, and Nancy Zimpel of Edgerton, Wisconsin; one stepdaughter, Anne Lane Gibson of Charleston, SC; one stepgrandson.

FARRAH, Jere
Reverend Jere Tiffin Farrah, Jr., 57, died on Sunday, August 18, 2002 in New York City, New York. Rev. Farrah was born in New York City and lived on Long Island and in New York City all of his life. He graduated from Duke University and Union Seminary in New York. He spent a year as a volunteer in VISTA, then with Hospital Audiences Inc., New York City Ballot, New York City Opera, before joining the Presbyterian Cathedral of St. John the Devine Church as Executive Vice President of Development and Civic Affairs. While at Duke, he studied organ with Pierre Cochereau of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, also Arthur Poister, Vernon Detar, and Cherry Rhodes. Rev. Farrah was a church organist and choir director from the time he was 16 years of age. He was organist and choir director at Roslyn Presbyterian Church on Long Island and currently at St. Luke's in New York City. For 15 years, he has played with Dave Brubeck at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. He was active with Musica Sacra for many years, and with the American Guild of Organists. He was an ordained Presbyterian Minister since 1973. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Jere (Pam) Farrah, Sr.; his sister-in-law Catherine DallaMura; his niece and god-child Tiffin Farrah, all of Charleston, SC; his uncle Frank Prince; and 4 cousins from Alpena, MI. He was predeceased by his twin brother James William Farrah; and his father, Jere Tiffin Farrah, Sr. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 22, 2002 at 2:00 PM at First Scots Presbyterian Church, 53 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to First Scots Presbyterian Church, or to the American Heart Association. Stephanie Jones, 38, of Ladson, died Saturday, August 17, 2002 at her residence. She was born October 15, 1963 in Charleston, SC. Stephanie was the Branch Administrator for Neff Rental in North Charleston. Her father, Kenneth Webster, preceded her in death. She is survived by her three daughters, Kelli Hill of Bonneau, SC, Crystal Robison and Ashley Nicole "Nikki" Jones, both of Ladson, SC; mother, Eloise Bradsher of Sumter, SC; two sisters, Brenda Griggs of Grand Junction, CO, and Vicki Henderson of Moncks Corner, SC. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2002 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd. (Hwy 52), Goose Creek.
