CAPPS, Loria
Entered into eternal rest on August 18, 2002, Louise Capps, residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Tuesday morning, August 20, 2002, at eleven o'clock.
Burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery, Conway, South Carolina. Friends may call at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, Monday, August 19, 2002 between the hours of six and eight.
Loria Louise Capps was born in Conway, SC, the daughter of Addie Cooper Capps and Davis C. Capps. She was a homemaker and a member of Charleston Baptist Church and The Joy Sunday School Class.
Surviving are 2 sisters, Eula Mae Cook of Myrtle Beach, SC, Annie C. Hucks of Charleston; 3 nieces; 3 nephews; 5 great nieces; 7 great nephews.

COLLINS, Camellia
Mrs. Camellia Roberts Collins, 75, widow of Ernest Earl Collins, died Saturday, August 17, 2002 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after and illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 20, 2002 at Gapway Baptist Church, with Rev. Chip Scruggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Family Center at Gapway, directed by COX-COLLINS FUNERAL HOME.
Mrs. Collins was born March 29, 1927 in Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Gilmon E. and Ruby Woodruff Roberts. Mrs. Collins had worked as a sales clerk with My Lady's Dress Shop in Marion and as an office clerk with the old Clark Tobacco Warehouse, Dixon's Tobacco Warehouse, Twin States Tobacco Warehouse, and Big L. Tobacco Warehouse, all located in Mullins. Mrs. Collins was always concerned about the needs of others and showed her selflessness by sharing with others, especially her bran muffins. Mrs. Collins was an avid gardener and a member of the Tussie Mussie Garden Club. She was a member of the VFW Post # 6122 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Collins was a member of Gapway Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class.
Surviving Mrs. Collins are: 2 brothers, Everette E. Roberts and his wife Betty of Mayor, Arizona and Jack B. Roberts and his wife Frances of Winston Salem, NC; 3 sisters, Julia R. Simms and her husband George W. of Oak Island, NC, Ina R. Williams and her husband Ralph of Kershaw, Sue R. Price and her husband Herb of Orangeburg; a special niece, Judy Howell of Waveland, Mississippi; and several other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Collins was predeceased by a brother, Charles Roberts and a sister, Azalea Shealy.
Memorials may be made to Gapway Baptist Church, c/o Deborah K. Brown, PO Box 731, Mullins, SC, or to the McLeod Medical Center Foundation, Guest House at McLeod, PO Box 100551, Florence, SC 29501.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 7 until 9 PM at COX-COLLINS FUNERAL HOME.
BOWSER, Theresa
Entered into eternal rest on the evening of August 17, 2002, Theresa Bowser, 72, wife of Allen Bowser, of Summerville, SC.
The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Bowser are invited to attend the Liturgy of Christian Burial, Tuesday morning, August 20, 2002 at 10 o'clock at St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 AM until time of service Tuesday morning.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 205, Columbia, SC 29204.
Mrs. Bowser was born March 4, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan, but resided for 23 years in Ortonville, Michigan, and the past 11 years in Summerville. She was a daughter of Mike D'Agostino and Lucile Meress D'Agostino. She was a homemaker and member of St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Allen Bowser of Summerville, SC; one son, Thomas Nixon and his wife Mary Nixon of Ridgeville, SC; one grandson, Kyle Nixon of Ridgeville; two brothers, John D'Agostino, Ernie D'Agostino, both of Florence, Wisconsin; and her aunt, Irene Meress of Keys Lake, Wisconsin.

The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Howell Polette Sanders are invited to attend his funeral service at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Monday afternoon, August 19, 2002 at 2 o'clock. The son of Mrs. Virginia Lizzie Bryant and the late William Bryant; the husband of Gracie Bryant; the brother of Elder Julius Baylock (Evangelist Barbara Baylock), George Earl Bryant; one niece, Katina Shoates; two nephews, Maynard T. and Julius Rivers; three grand nieces; two grand nephews. JOHNSON, Betty
GEORGETOWN, SC - Betty U. Johnson, widow of Jasper H. Johnson, Sr., died Saturday, August 17, 2002 in Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2002 at 11:00 AM in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Wayne Ellis.
She was born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late David M. Urick and Emma Furhman Urick.
She was a graduate of Summerville High School. She was a retired intensive care nurse with Georgetown Memorial Hospital and was President of J. Johnson Insurance Agency. She enjoyed bowling as her hobby and was a member of Surfside Bowling League. She was a member of Screven Baptist Church.
Surviving are: one son, Jasper H. Johnson, Jr., of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Monday at GRAHAM FUNERAL HOME.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

FULTON, Charlese
KINGSTREE - Funeral services for Mrs. Charlese J. McClary Fulton will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2002, at 11 a.m., at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Kingstree, S.C. Interment will follow at Dimery's Green Lawn cemetery in Kingstree, S.C. The Rev. Dr. Lee Bines, Pastor, will conduct the religious services. DIMERY AND ROGERS FUNERAL HOME OF KINGSTREE is in charge of arrangements. Eastern Star Rites and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Rites will be performed in the funeral home chapel, Monday evening, at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Fulton, 81, departed this life on Friday, August 16, 2002, in Kingstree Nursing Facility in Kingstree, S.C., after an illness.
She was born in Orangeburg, S.C., on October 14, 1920, to the late Mrs. Alice Boderick Haynes and Mr. Baker Andrew Haynes.
She was married
to the late Mr. Roland McClary, who preceded her in death. She later married
the late Mr. Joe Doward Fulton, who also preceded her in death.
She attended the public schools of Orangeburg County and graduated from high school in 1935. She was a graduate of Allen University, Columbia, S.C., and also attended South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, S.C.
Mrs. Fulton taught French in the public school systems of Sumter County and Williamsburg County.
At an early age, she joined Williams Chapel A.M.E. Church in Orangeburg, S.C. After moving to Kingstree, S.C., she became an active member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Prior to her health failing, she served the church faithfully as a former member of the United Methodist Women, the church choir, the Administrative Board, and the Day Care Board. She was a former chairperson of the Pastor's Parish Relations Committee, former chairperson of the Council on Ministries, former Church Financial Secretary, and former Sunday school teacher.
Mrs. Fulton was a former secretary of Williamsburg County Democratic Party, former Williamsburg County Executive Committee chairperson for Kingstree Precinct No. 2 and past president of Williamsburg County Precinct No. 2.
She was a staunch supporter and member of N.A.A.C.P. and the former Williamsburg County Voters League.
Loved ones who will cherish her memories forever are: one step-daughter, Mrs. Christine Anderson (Dr. John Anderson) of Los Angeles, Calif.; two nieces, Mrs. Mary Alice Smith of Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Louise Johnson of Jersey City, N.J.; special nieces who cared for her, Mrs. Sylvia Ivey of New Zion, S.C.; Mrs. Edith Bell McCullough of Kingstree, S.C.; one nephew, Mr. Thornton Baker Haynes of Charlotte, N.C., host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
SQUIRES, Freddie
AYNOR - Freddie Rabon Squires, age 93, wife of the late George Herbert Squires, died Saturday, August 17, 2002, at Conway Hospital following an illness.
Mrs. Squires was born in Horry County a daughter of the late Marvin and Little Graham Rabon. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school class, and was a member and officer of the WMU. Mrs. Squires was pre-deceased by a grandson, Glenn Squires and great-grandson, Adam Squires.
Surviving are three daughters, Helen S. Watts of Mt. Pleasant, Velma S. Polk of Rockhill, S.C., and Clara Rogers and husband Billy of Conway; one son, Garner A. Squires and wife Beth of Aynor; one brother, Tolar H. Rabon of Aynor; two half-brothers, Calhoun Rabon of Aynor and Winston Rabon of Moncks Corner; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Monday, from Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Revisky and Rev. Gary Harrleson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, directed by GOLDFINCH FUNERAL HOME, CONWAY CHAPEL.
Memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 4008 Salem Road, Aynor S.C. 29511.
