MOSELEY, William
Entered into eternal rest on August 16, 2002, William Donald Moseley, husband of 42 years to Shirley Burnette Moseley. residence, Charleston, S.C. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. William Moseley are invited to attend the services of the former in J. Mr. Moseley was born in Charleston, S.C., the son of Arthur Larue Hill and Ida Moseley Hill. He was a graduate of Rivers High School and attended The Citadel. He was a retired sales man with Wicks-Ross and Lowe's. Mr. Moseley was also a retired official with the South Carolina High School League and active for many years with youth sports in the Charleston area. He served with the U.S. Army Reserves.
Surviving are his wife of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters: Melanie G. Codespoti and her husband Sidney of Charleston, S.C., and Meredith L. Hammond and her husband Ray of Charleston, S.C.; one sister, Larue Hill Feicht of James Island, S.C.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

WEBER, Herbert
Entered into eternal rest on the morning of August 14, 2002, Herbert Weber, widower of Helen Grabowski Weber. Residence, Mt. Pleasant, S.C., formerly of West Hartford, Conn. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services at the graveside in Paucatuck cemetery, West Springfield, Mass., Saturday, August 24th, 2002 at eleven o'clock.
Mr. Weber was born July 17, 1907 in Hamburg, Germany, the son of the late Rudolf Weber and Erna Dehn Weber. He was a retired aircraft planning engineer with Pratt and Whitney. He was a 70 year Mason with Apollo Lodge #59 in Suffield, Conn. and a Shriner with Sphinx Temple in Newington, Conn.
He is survived by his daughter, Jean W. Bing-Zaremba and her husband Carlos of Folly Beach, S.C.; one sister, Inge Zeptner of Australia; three grandchildren: Marc Zing-Zaremba of Maryland, Adrian Bing-Zaremba of Pennsylvania and Kimberly Bing-Zaremba of Folly Beach, S.C.; and one great-granddaughter, Caitlin Bing-Zaremba of Pennsylvania.

DUFF, Peggy
Peggy Olmstead Duff, 79, of Mount Pleasant, died Thursday, August 15, 2002, at a local nursing home. Born in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Earl Oren Olmstead and the late Frella Stillwell O. Miller. She attended the University of Oklahoma. She was an American Red Cross "Grey Lady" at the Veterans Hospital in Northport, Long Island, from 1950 to 1953. Mrs. Duff was a girl scout leader from 1962 to 1965. She was a PTA board member in Miami, Florida from 1963-1967. She worked for two years as a CCD teacher at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She also served as Eucharistic Minister at First Oliver Plunkett Church in Snellville, Georgia. Mrs. Duff joined the Third Order of Mary-Marist Laity in 1976. She also spent fifteen years as a secretary for Porter Paint in Atlanta, Georgia, from 1973 to 1978. She gave a lifetime of blessings and love. WALTERBORO, SC - Edith Johnson, 56, of Walterboro, died Tuesday, August 13, 2002.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2002, in Mount Olive Baptist Church, Savage St., Walterboro. Burial will be in Westview Memorial Gardens, Ruffin. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday evening in the funeral chapel.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Colleton County and was the daughter of the late Buster Coaxum and Ora Bell Coaxum Tillman. She attended the public schools in Colleton County.
She became a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church earlier in life and in later years joined Red Root United Methodist Church, Ruffin, SC.
Surviving are: her husband, Robert (Jap) Johnson; two daughters, Karen Johnson and Felicia Cunningham (Bryant); one son, Lamont Johnson; two grandsons whom she reared, James Johnson and Robert Grant; two sisters, Mary Rowland (Fletcher) and Annette Coaxum; all of Walterboro, SC; five brothers, Elford Ruth, Lee Marion Ruth, both of Brooklyn, NY, Nathaniel Ruth (Jorena Ruth), James Coaxum (Eartha) and Clarence Tillman, all of Walterboro, SC; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a devoted friend, Kenneth Stephens of Ruffin, SC.

Salvatore Joseph Marino, 90, Mt. Pleasant, SC, died in a local hospital August 15, 2002. The son of Ralph and Philamena Marino, he was born in Jersey City, NJ. Mr. Marino was retired from Electro Dynamics, a submarine manufacturing company. He was predeceased by his wife, Sarah Mary (Pouch) Marino, and is survived by his sister, Pauline Riefler, Greenbush, NJ; sister-in-law, Mary A. Poretto, Mt. Pleasant, SC. TROWELL, JR., Edward
FURMAN, SC - Mr. Edward Hugh Trowell, Jr., 65, of Furman, SC and also of 774 Edding Point Road, St. Helena Island, SC, died Thursday morning at the Medical University of SC after a brief illness.
Born January 4, 1937 in Savannah, GA, he was the son of the late Edward Hugh Trowell, Sr., and Manie Cleland Trowell. A graduate of Carlisle Military Academy, he was a self-employed farmer.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Katrina Trowell Wheeler and husband, Dr. George A. Wheeler, Jr., of Waycross, GA, Mitzi Trowell McClure and husband Frank A. McClure, III, of Charleston, SC; 1 sister, Joan Davis of Atlanta, GA. There are 5 grandchildren: Aubrey and Hannah Wheeler, Eliza, Lexi, and Grant McClure.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM in the Beaver Dam Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery, conducted by Rev. Tommy Kelly and directed by PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME OF HAMPTON.
Friends may call at the Chapel in Hampton on Friday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
