GAMWELL, Michael
Michael Allen Gamwell, 50, of Ostrich Run Road, Bethera, SC, a former fireman/paramedic for the City of Miami, died Thursday at his residence.
The funeral will be at 2:00 PM Sunday afternoon, October 20, 2002, at the Graveside in the Bethel Baptist Church cemetery, Bethera. Interment will follow. Friends may call at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, this Saturday evening.
Mr. Gamwell was born February 9, 1952, in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, a son of Ralph E. Gamwell and Sylvia Sorensen Gamwell. He was a decretive painter.
Surviving are, his parents of Oviedo, FL; three daughters, Stacey Lusk, Rachel Hall, and Lauren Gamwell all of Asheville, NC; three sisters, Charlotte O'Daniel of Oviedo, FL, Christine Turner of Tallahassee, FL, and Becky Croyle of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Steve Gamwell of Atlanta, GA, David Gamwell of Sarasota, FL, and Brian Gamwell of Macon, GA; and two grandsons, Logan and Mason Lusk.

AUGUSTA, GA - Entered into rest Tuesday, October 15, 2002, Mrs. Johanna Donnelly Buskirk, 77, of Augusta, beloved wife of the late Charles William Buskirk.
Memorial services were held Friday, October 18, 2002 at Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with The Rev. Fr. Gaspar Hededus officiating. Burial will be in St. John's, Newfoundland.

AUGUSTA, GA. - Z.W. Gramling, Sr., M.D., 80, died Thursday, October 17, at the Medical Center of Georgia.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, October 19, at Thomas Poteet and Son Chapel, Augusta, Ga., with Dr. Rodger Murchison officiating.

Mr. Gramling was a native of Orangeburg. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston and his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He was a Captain in the Medical Corps with the U.S. Army Air Corps and Air Force and was retired Professor and Chairman Emeritus of the Department of Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Georgia. He attended the First Baptist Church of Augusta.
Survivors include, Mrs. Doris Evans Gramling, Augusta, Ga.; son, Z. Walter Gramling, Jr., Augusta, Ga.; daughter, Jeanne Gramling, Greensboro, N.C.; step-son, Nick W. Evans, Augusta, Ga.; step-daughters, Sally Castengera, Charleston, S.C., Laura Moody, Augusta, Ga., Carol Blackstock, Augusta, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

POLENSKY, Mary
Mary H. Polensky, 56, of Charleston, wife of Harry Polensky, died Monday, October 14, in Greenville, N.C., due to an automobile accident. She was born in Biloxi, Miss., to Homer J. and Mary R. Brown Humphrey of Biloxi. She was a graduate of Bishop England High School. Mrs. Polensky worked at James Island Middle School and was a member of Nativity Catholic Church. She is survived by her parents of Biloxi, her husband of Charleston, four sons, Michael C. Polensky, Joseph L. Polensky, Paul M. Polensky, and Thomas C. Polensky all of Charleston, four daughters, Shaughn M. Hutchinson and husband Matt of Charlotte, N.C., Morgan Polensky of Virginia Beach, Va., Bridgett A. Polensky, and Mary C. Polensky, both of Charleston. Also one sister, Mamie Humphrey of Biloxi, Miss., and one grandson, Phillip Polensky of Charleston. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, October 19, at Nativity Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Holy Cross cemetery.
