Yvonne Silva, 55, of Goose Creek, died Monday, April 29, 2002. Born February 12, 1947 in Shawano, Wis., she was the daughter of Lyle Neil and Florence Minnie Marie Montoure (nee Korth). Mrs. Silva was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of The Legion Honor Guard, American Legion Post #0166. preceded in death by her brothers, David Montoure and Duiane Montoure, she is survived by her mother, Florence Feger, Antigo, Wis., her husband, James T. Silva, Goose Creek, S.C.; two daughters, Roseann Schreiber, Athens, Wis. and Tara Jean Silva, Eureka, Calif.; step-brother and his wife, Robert and Vicki Feger, Lewiston, Ill.; four sisters, Cynthia and (James Earl) McLendon, Goose Creek, S.C., Sharon Malueg, Neva, Wis., Sandy Montoure, Antigo, Wis., Deborah Willis, Antigo, Wis.; four grandchildren. HAMILTON, Jack
COTTAGEVILLE - Jack Therman Hamilton, 64, of Jacksonville, Fla. and formerly of Cottageville, died April 24, 2002 in Jacksonville, Fla. He was a truck driver.
The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2002, in the Hamilton's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Fishburne Hill cemetery, Round O, S.C.
Mr. Hamilton was born in Colleton Country and was the son of the late Hilliard and Edie Hamilton. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Fla.
Surviving are his wife, Katie Hamilton, Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Anne Hamilton and Shawnda Hamilton; four sisters, Willie B. Holmes (Clarence), Walterboro, Jestine Walker (Nathan Jr.), Lorine Fishburne (Charles), and Ruby Lee "Pearl" Green (John), all of Cottageville; one brother, John Hamilton (Alberta) of Cottageville.

HARLEYVILLE - Wilbert Williams, 68, husband of Mrs. Minnie White Williams, of 119 Dunnings Road, Harleyville, S.C., died Monday, April 29, 2002, at a Charleston hospital. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2002, at the Greater St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Harleyville, S.C., with the Rev. Frances McPherson, officiating. Mr. Williams was born October 30, 1933, in Harleyville, S.C., a son of the late Jervey Williams and Mrs. Eva Dunnings Williams. He was a life-long member of the Greater St. Paul A.M.E. Church and attended the public schools of Dorchester County. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for 30 years as a heavy equipment operator at Giant Cement Co., of Harleyville, S.C.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie White Williams of Harleyville; four sons, Jimmy (Laura) Williams, Wilbert (Kodi) Williams, Jr., Harleyville, S.C., Ms. Barbara Street and Mrs. Carolyn Street Moore, both of St. George, S.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Rethae Bell (Carl) Freeman and Mrs. Mary (Kenneth) Whitherspoon all of Harleyville, S.C.; one brother, Lester Williams of Harleyville. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren.

Margaret Ellen "Marge" Conradson Rose, 56, of Marges Lane, Pineville, S.C., a former factory worker with St. Stephen Packaging, died Thursday at her residence.

Ms. Rose was born March 31, 1946, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of Gunard Conradson and Mary Ellen Macey Conradson. She attended Amundsen High School.
Surviving are, her companion, Robert L. "Bob" Lea of Pineville, S.C., her father of Santa Maria, Calif.; one daughter, Christine A. Hughes of Charleston, S.C.; four sons, Robert Chencinski of Chicago, Ill., Leonard Paul Reeseman, James Edward Rose and Brian James Rose all of Eadytown, S.C.; two daughters-in-law, Eva Popio and Deanna Fabian both of Eadytown, S.C.; four sisters, Barbara Biggs of Arcata, Calif., Sandra Johnson of Paducah, Ky., Karen Conradson and Debbie Johnson both of Blue Lake, Calif.; five brothers, Don Conradson of Nebraska, Ed Conradson of Happy Camp, Calif., Bert Conradson of Illinois, Gary Conradson of Lake Geneva, Wis., and Robert Conradson of Rescue, Calif.; and seven grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
HODGES, Lillian
Entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 1, 2002, Lillian Mary Hodges, widow of George F. Hodges. Residence, Charleston, S.C. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at the graveside in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Friday, at 1 o'clock.
Mrs. Hodges was born January 29, 1923, in Lewiston, Maine, the daughter of Onesime Morin and Sadie Hopewell. She retired as a registered nurse at MUSC and was an Alumni of the Medical University School of Nursing. She was a member of Adams Run Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brother, Felix Morin of Hawthorne, N.J., and several nieces and nephews.

BROWN, Justin
Justin Allen Brown, aged 19, of 1518 Southwick Drive, Johns Island, S.C., entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 29, 2002. He was living in Winter Park, Fla., where he was a full-time student at Full Sail University.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, on December 5, 1982, he was the son of Candice Lynn Brown and Arthur Allen Brown. He moved with his mother and grandmother to Charleston in August of 1985.
Justin was a member of St. James Episcopal Church on James Island. He attended Harbor View Elementary, Sea Island Academy, James Island Middle School, Academic Magnet High School, and graduated through the Teachers, Inc., Homeschool Association on May 31, 2000. He excelled in his studies, was an accomplished guitarist, and an avid athlete. He played soccer, baseball, football, and basketball throughout his school years. He was involved in Boy Scouts, and enjoyed camping, canoeing, whitewater rafting, golf, and surfing. His love of animals was evidenced by his many pets.
Justin's goal upon graduation from Full Sail was to pursue a career in audio post-production in the film industry. His interest in the entertainment industry began early in life when he represented the Fox 24 Kids Club on local television.
Prior to college, Justin owned and successfully operated Interior Elegance, an interior trim company, in the Charleston area.
Justin was known for his sense of humor, his music, and his loyalty to his friends and family. He was loved deeply and will be sadly missed by his mother, Candice L. Brown, a teacher at Stiles Point Elementary on James Island, his father, Arthur A. Brown, of Germantown, Md., his maternal grandmother, Gaynell Galus of Johns Island, his maternal grandfather, Eugene J. and Babe Olive Galus of James Island, his aunt and uncle, Joe and Beth Galus of Summerville, uncle Bill Brown of New Mexico, and many, many great-aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. His late paternal grandparents were Harland A. and Mary Louise Brown of Carlsbad, N.M.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 3, from 6 to 8 p.m., at STUHR'S DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 232 Calhoun St., Charleston. Services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 4, at St. James Episcopal Church, Camp Road, James Island, with the Reverend Arthur Jenkins and Reverend Floyd Finch officiating.

ALCOLU - John Curtis Griffin, Sr., 67, husband of Betty Lenora Rhodes Griffin, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at Roper Hospital in Charleston.
Born April 17, 1935, in Cornelius, N.C., he was a son of the late William Collet Griffin and the late Mary Simpson Griffin. He was a retired salesman, an Army veteran of the Korean War, and a member of New Covenant Presbyterian Church in Manning.
Surviving are his wife of Alcolu, three daughters, Janice Bostic of Mooresville, N.C., Kim Fingar of Manning and Amy Wear of Hilton Head, S.C.; three sons, John Curtis Griffin, Jr., of Woodbine, Ga., Mark Griffin of Columbia and Todd Griffin of Alcolu; two sisters, Perry Story and Evelyn Hastedt, both of Charlotte; 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, in New Covenant Presbyterian Church. Rev. Charlie Tyler will officiate. Burial will follow in Clarendon Memorial Gardens in Manning.

CLINE, Sr., Nesbitt
Nesbitt Querry Cline, Sr., age 89, of 614 Altamont Road, died May 1, 2002.
Born in Charlotte, N.C., on August 2, 1912, he was the son of the late David Gaillard Cline and Mattie Dukes Cline. At the age of eight years he went to Connie Maxwell Orphanage at Greenwood, S.C.
Mr. Cline was founder and president of the Cline Company, established in 1948. He was a member of Earle Street Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and in other capacities, a member of the William Wallace Bible Class, a member of the Exchange Club and Gideon's International North Camp. He served on the Advisory Board of Carolina First, BB&T, and North Greenville College. He was also a member of the Commerce Club, Green Valley Country Club and Poinsett Club. He helped organize and establish several associations through his philanthropic gifts.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Anne Martin Cline of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Nesbitt Querry and Joyce White Cline, Jr., and David Martin and Julie Burts Cline, both of Greenville; four grandsons, Glenn Martin Cline, Scott Nesbitt Cline, both of Greenville; four grandsons, Glenn Martin Cline, Scott Nesbitt Cline, David Martin Cline, Jr., and Wade Spencer Cline; two great-grandchildren, William David Cline and Graham Nesbitt Cline; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m., at Earle Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. James Wooten, the Rev. Dr. Jimmy Epting, the Rev. David Cline, Jr., and Mr. Don Kirkland officiating. Interment for the family will be in Springwood cemetery.
