Mr. Singletary was born on January 3, 1937 in Charleston, South Carolina, a son of the late Stephen and Aresa Wagers Singletary. He was employed as a dispatcher for Banks Construction and was formerly a volunteer firefighter for North Charleston and Goose Creek Fire Departments for 36 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Goose Creek.
Mr. Singletary is survived by his loving wife of Goose Creek, S.C.; two nephews, Stephen Rourke of Nashville, Tenn., and Jerry Rourke of James Island, S.C.; and three brothers-in-law, James Rourke of James Island, S.C., Autry G. Horne and J.P. Jackson, both of St. George, S.C.

BANKS, Dorothy
Entered into eternal rest on the morning of March 31, 2002, Dorothy Elizabeth Blake Banks, wife of Homer Howard Banks. Residence: North Charleston, South Carolina. Mrs. Banks was born December 13, 1924, in Fayetteville, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Theodore and Nora Blake. Mrs. Banks was educated in the public schools of West Virginia and had at one time been a telephone operator.
Surviving Mrs. Banks are her husband of North Charleston, S.C.; and two sisters, Nora and Minnie, both of Fayetteville, West Virginia.
HOPKINS, Ronald
Ronald Alan Hopkins, 38, of Hanahan, died Saturday, February 16, 2002.
Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Carolina Memorial Gardens, directed by CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME.
Born June 12, 1963 in Greenville, Mississippi, he was a son of Eddie Hopkins and Dorothy Graham Franks. Mr. Hopkins was a self employed dock sea wall builder.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Dean Hopkins; daughters, Jennifer Lynn Hopkins and Heather Ann Hopkins of Hanahan; a son, Brandon Lee Hopkins of Hanahan; his father, Eddie Hopkins and stepmother Virginia Hopkins of Kentucky; his mother Dorothy Franks and stepfather Len Franks of Hanahan; a sister, Sandra Brooks of Hanahan.
The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home.

MYERS, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Hindman Myers, 63, of Pinopolis, a retired nursing instructor where she taught at the Baptist College and Trident Technical College, died Saturday at her residence after an extended illness.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL. Burial will be in St. John's Baptist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Myers was born July 5, 1938 in Cross Anchor, S.C., a daughter of Carl and Grace Hindman. She graduated in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. She was a member of the National Council of Garden Clubs. She recently attained her Master Gardener through the Clemson Extension Service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Dr. Rhett B. Myers of Pinopolis; two sons, Rhett B. Myers, II of Mt. Pleasant and Randy G. Myers of Summerville; daughter, Patricia M. Swafford of Atlanta, Georgia; father, Carl Hindman of Bonneau; three brothers, William Hindman of Bonneau, Thomas Hindman of Piedmont, Wendell Hindman of Fountain Inn; grandson, James Rhett Myers of Mt. Pleasant; three nephews and three nieces.

FELDER, Lillian
Lillian C. McManus Felder, 87, of N. Charleston, widow of James C. Felder, Sr., died Sunday, February 17, 2002, in a local hospital.
Services will be held, 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Born December 17, 1914, in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Daisy Amanda Rollins McManus. Mrs. Felder was a homemaker, former kindergarten teacher at Remount Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Felder was a member of Remount Baptist Church where she was a servant of the Lord. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Felder.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Lynne Overbaugh and her husband Stanley of Charleston; sons, James Carlisle Felder, Jr., and his wife, Judy, of Katy, Texas, and Fred W. Felder and his wife Pixie of Huntsville, Ala.; six grandchildren and eight grandchildren.
