Entered into eternal rest on the morning of February 7, 2002, Charles J. Relyea, Sr., husband of Julia Clark Relyea, residence, James Island, S.C. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Relyea, Sr. are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the graveside in James Island Presbyterian Churchyard. Friends may call at J. Mr. Relyea was born February 4, 1919 in Charleston, S.C., the son of George Relyea and Rossie Fagan Relyea. He was a retired Supervisor with Commissioners of Public Works. He was a graduate of Murray Vocational High School and a member of James Island Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife of James Island; one son, Charles J. Relyea, Jr. and his wife Aleta of James Island; 2 grandchildren, Denise Relyea and Dawn Holcombe and his granddaughter-in-law, Dana Relyea; 3 great-grandchildren, Danielle Burkhardt, Gregory Burkhardt, Catherine Rogerson; 1 nephew, John Yearwood. He was predeceased by his grandson, Charles J. Relyea, III.

BADGLEY, Phyllis
Phyllis Janet Koechle Badgley, 71, of North Charleston, widow of Howard Dwane Badgley died Thursday at her residence.
Service and burial will be private.
Born on October 23, 1930 in Ft. Madison, Iowa, a daughter of the late Earl John Koechle and Cordelia Brown Koechle Brown.
Mrs. Badgley attended schools in Iowa. She was an avid gardener and cookbook collector and also a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Dona M. Kingsley of James Island, S.C.; sisters, Elizabeth Cordova of Denver, Colorado, Karen Tuttle of Farmington, Iowa, Judy Rotchford of Springfield, Illinois; brothers, Seldon Brown of Tennessee, Wesley Brown of Orlando, Fla., Roger Brown of Jacksonville, Fla., Steve Brown of Ft. Madison, Iowa; 2 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.

George Keith "Georgie" Dean, 34, of Summerville, husband of Tamatha Jean Dean died Thursday in a North Charleston hospital.

Surviving are his wife; 2 sons: Timothy Michael Dean and Dylan Shayne Dean both of Summerville; sister: Mary Elizabeth Smith of Laurel, Delaware; nephew: James Gullett of Seaford, Delaware; several nieces, nephews, other family and his friend "Jedi."

KINGSTREE - Mrs. Anna Belle Smith Floyd, 96, widow of Leland Floyd, died Wednesday in a Florence nursing home.
Mrs. Floyd was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Smith and Sarah Howard Smith. She was an avid gardener and the oldest member of Kingstree Second Baptist Church.
Surviving: 2 sons, Myers L. Floyd of Conway and Joe Ellis Floyd of Kingstree, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Kingstree Second Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Don Witherspoon. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Baptist cemetery, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home.
