The Home Going services for Mr. William "Dahmer" Watson will be held on Tuesday afternoon, February 5, 2002 at 1 p.m. in Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, 44 Nassau St., Charleston, S.C. The Rev. Dr. William Swinton, pastor. Inhumation with full Masonic Rites will be in Emanuel A.M.E. cemetery. His children, Mrs. Elizabeth Richardson (John) and Mrs. Rosa Lee Smith (Nathan), special friend, Ms. Ethel Davis, brother-in-law, Mr. Thomas Wright (Julia), sister, the late Mrs. Annette Speight (Nathaniel Speight), invite his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins to attend those of his last religious rites. Fludd and John Wigfall of Brooklyn, N.Y.; sister of Betty Wigfall and Mildred Mack of Moncks Corner, S.C., Christina Lawyer of Brooklyn, N.Y., Emma L. Lawyer of Long Island, N.Y., Rachel Bibbs, Daniel Lawyer and Isaac Lawyer of Atlanta, Ga. and Rev. Roosevelt W. Lawyer of Woodhaven, N.Y.; and grandmother of 13 grandchildren. Funeral notice later. CROWLEY, Mary
Mary Katherine "Katchie" Disney Crowley, 76, of Charleston died Friday, February 1, 2002.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2002, at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Born December 18, 1925, in Jellico, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late Oliver Stephen and Pauline Litton Disney. Mrs. Crowley was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wallace Crowley.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy S. "Tim" Crowley of Summerville, John Phillip Crowley of Charleston, and T. Chris Crowley of Greenwood; sisters, Meryle Disney Bulwinkle and Betty Disney Gibson; both of Hanahan; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 3896 Leeds Ave., N. Charleston, S.C. 29405.
The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday night at the funeral home.
DELONG, Mavis
Mavis King DeLong, 85, widow of Eldon DeLong, Sr., died January 31, 2002 at her residence in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. Born in Sheridan, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Marvin and Florence Inez Barnes King. Mrs. DeLong attended schools in Florida. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, February 4, 2002 at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 1520 Rifle Range Road, 884-3833. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday evening between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. Survivors include one son, Eldon DeLong, Jr.; three daughters: Norma Lee Kirkland and Florence Jeanette Gaines, both of Fla.; Margaret Lambert, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two brothers: James King, Fla. and Henry "Hank" King, Calif.; and one sister, Helen Howe, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. APPERSON, Mary Anne
Entered into eternal rest on the morning of February 2, 2002, Mary Anne Apperson, wife of William R. Apperson. Residence Mount Pleasant, S.C. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Apperson are invited to attend The Mass of Christian Burial of the latter on Monday, February 4, 2002 in Christ Our King Catholic Church at 12 o'clock noon. Mrs. Apperson was born July 16, 1941 in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Albert J. and the late Mary Josephine Johnston Woods. She was a graduate of Marycrest College, Davenport, Iowa and a member of Christ Our King Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband of Mount Pleasant; her father of Venice, Florida; one son, Michael W. Apperson of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two daughters, Julie A. Pegram, Karen A. Wiggers both of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; five grandchildren, Bryan Apperson, Emily Apperson, Kayla Pegram, Matthew Pegram, and Kelly Grace Pegram, and one sister, Nancy J. Woods of Tampa, Florida.

Gabriel Janaskie of Mount Pleasant, S.C., infant son of Michael Lance and Margaret Patteson Janaskie died Tuesday, January 29, 2002 in a local hospital. HIOTT, Lucia
WALTERBORO - Lucia V. Mixon Hiott, 94, died Feb. 2, 2002. St. John's Hospice in Springfield, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of the Fred Parker Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Posey Belcher. Interment will be in Sand Hill cemetery near Varnville.
Mrs. Hiott was born October 1, 1907 in Walterboro, a daughter of the late George Caulder Robertson and Mamie Herndon Robertson. She was a member of first Baptist Church. Mrs. Hiott received her nursing degree in 1926 and had been employed at various area hospitals and also served as a private duty care nurse in the South Carolina area. She was an Avid Gardener and Seamstress and was a loving and faithful grandmother. She was married
three times, first to the late George Dillard, secondly to the late Andrew B. Mixon and third to the late Walter W. Hiott.
Surviving are: one daughter, Mary Anne Heard of Houston, TX, a son, George Dillard of Florence, six grandchildren; Richard (Charlotte) Rahm of Dallas, TX, Lisa (Bill) Kienzle of Chatham, IL., Mark Rahm of Dallas, TX, Joseph Heard of LaFayette, LA, Scott Heard of Houston, TX and Susan Dillard of California, 3 great-grandchildren, Jennifer Kienzle of Orange City, IA and Sara and Amanda Kienzle both of Polo, IL.
Memorials may be made to Connie Maxwell Children's Home, P. O. Box 1178, Greenwood, S.C. 29648.
Visitation will be held Wednesday Evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at THE FRED PARKER FUNERAL HOME.
DELUISE, Peter

Mr. DeLuise was born July 7, 1933, in Jersey City, N.J., the son of the late Salvatore DeLuise and Anna E. Carlock DeLuise Krouse. Mr. DeLuise was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was a retired transportation driver.
Mr. DeLuise is survived by a son, Peter Charles DeLuise, II, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two daughters, Susan D. Parker of Goose Creek, S.C., and Sandra Infinger of Moncks Corner, S.C.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
