CROWLEY, Mary
Mary Katherine "Katchie" Disney Crowley, 76, of Charleston died Friday, February 1, 2002.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2002, at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Born December 18, 1925, in Jellico, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late Oliver Stephen and Pauline Litton Disney. Mrs. Crowley was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wallace Crowley.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy S. "Tim" Crowley of Summerville, John Phillip Crowley of Charleston, and T. Chris Crowley of Greenwood; sisters, Meryle Disney Bulwinkle and Betty Disney Gibson; both of Hanahan; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mavis King DeLong, 85, widow of Eldon DeLong, Sr., died January 31, 2002 at her residence in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. Born in Sheridan, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Marvin and Florence Inez Barnes King. Mrs. DeLong attended schools in Florida. Surviving are her husband of Mount Pleasant; her father of Venice, Florida; one son, Michael W. Apperson of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two daughters, Julie A. Pegram, Karen A. Wiggers both of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; five grandchildren, Bryan Apperson, Emily Apperson, Kayla Pegram, Matthew Pegram, and Kelly Grace Pegram, and one sister, Nancy J. Woods of Tampa, Florida.

WALTERBORO - Lucia V. Mixon Hiott, 94, died Feb. 2, 2002. St. John's Hospice in Springfield, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of the Fred Parker Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Posey Belcher. Interment will be in Sand Hill cemetery near Varnville.
Mrs. Hiott was born October 1, 1907 in Walterboro, a daughter of the late George Caulder Robertson and Mamie Herndon Robertson. She was a member of first Baptist Church. Mrs. Hiott received her nursing degree in 1926 and had been employed at various area hospitals and also served as a private duty care nurse in the South Carolina area. She was an Avid Gardener and Seamstress and was a loving and faithful grandmother. She was married
three times, first to the late George Dillard, secondly to the late Andrew B. Mixon and third to the late Walter W. Hiott.
Surviving are: one daughter, Mary Anne Heard of Houston, TX, a son, George Dillard of Florence, six grandchildren; Richard (Charlotte) Rahm of Dallas, TX, Lisa (Bill) Kienzle of Chatham, IL., Mark Rahm of Dallas, TX, Joseph Heard of LaFayette, LA, Scott Heard of Houston, TX and Susan Dillard of California, 3 great-grandchildren, Jennifer Kienzle of Orange City, IA and Sara and Amanda Kienzle both of Polo, IL.

Mr. DeLuise is survived by a son, Peter Charles DeLuise, II, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two daughters, Susan D. Parker of Goose Creek, S.C., and Sandra Infinger of Moncks Corner, S.C.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
