CAMERON - Thomas F. Wiles, 86, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at the Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, July 26, at Resurrection Lutheran Church with Rev. Lavaughn Keisler officiating. Burial at Mt. Lebanon cemetery, Cameron. DUKES-HARLEY FUNERAL HOME in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wiles was born in Cameron a son of the late Walter W. Wiles and Minnie Waltz Wiles. He was a retired automobile salesman from Wannamaker Motor Company of Orangeburg. Mr. Wiles was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church.
Survivors include, wife, Mrs. Gladys Edwards Wiles, St. Matthews; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Wiles Carouthers, Nashville, Tenn., and Mrs. Bonnie Wiles Thomas, Walterboro, S.C.; son, Thomas R. "Ronnie" Wiles, Raleigh, N.C.; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.

Mr. Blocker was born in Walterboro, S.C., the son of Richard Riley Blocker, and Ivah Varnadoe Blocker. He was the owner of Blocker Rentals. He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church. He was the Sunday school superintendent of John Wesley United Methodist Church for 10 years. He was a charter member of John Wesley United Methodist Church and Grace United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife of Charleston, S.C.; one daughter, Janis B. Winstead of Charleston, S.C.; two sons, Harry (Ed) Blocker, Jr., of North Charleston, S.C., and Thomas Riley Blocker of Charleston, S.C.; four sisters, Louise B. Sauls, Hazel B. Williams, Virginia Anne B. Seignious, all of Charleston, S.C.; and Mary B. Wiley of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; two brothers, James Kirby Blocker of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Charles Howard Blocker of Fountain Inn, S.C.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Dorothy M. "Dot" Garnet, 82, of Mount Pleasant, S.C., widow of Robert Garnet, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002, in a local hospital. Mrs. Garnett was born in Evansville, Ind., a daughter of Henry Hagedorn and Catherine Knapp Hagedorn. She retired from Charles Chips as a Home Delivery Salesperson and formerly worked at Wal-Mart as a Greeter. She was a member of Stella Maris Catholic Church.
Surviving are three sons, Larry Buttrum of Indianapolis, Ind.; Richard Buttrum of Cherokee, Okla., and Kent Buttrum of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; one daughter, Kathy Cross of Houston, Texas; one step-son, Robert Garnet of California; one step-daughter, Denise Allen of Ladson, S.C.; one sister, Mary E. Abernathy of Evansville, Ind.; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Edward Wayne Chancellor, 57, died July 21, 2002 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Formerly of Charleston, He was the son of Reavis F. Chancellor and Leila Hardin Chancellor. He was of the Methodist faith and graduated from Murray Vocational High School in 1965. Wayne was a draftsman with Ingles Shipyard in Pascagoula. He is survived by His Beloved Friend and Companion Monique Riveria, His Father, Reavis F. CHancellor and Stepmother Sue Chancellor, three brothers Richard, Floyd, Bryan Chancellor, a son Eric Chancellor of Summerville, a daughter Tammy Lynne Rini of Beechwood Ohio and four grand children. Memorial services will held at a later time in Julliette Ga.

WALTERBORO - Jon Robert Lyles, 17, of 194 Rentz Drive, died Wednesday at MUSC in Charleston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church #1 with Rev. Ken McCaskill officiating. Interment will follow in Smoaks Baptist Church cemetery, directed by the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME.
Jon was born in Herbon-Seelbach, Germany. He attended Walterboro High School, where he was a member of the FFA. he was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church #1, where he was a member of the Youth Group.
Surviving are his parents, John W. and Tana Jones Lyles of Walterboro; his biological father and stepmother, Don and Jay Goff of Arlington, Texas; two brothers, Dustin Lyles of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and Travis Lyles of Walterboro; a sister, Samantha Goff of Arlington, Texas; a step-brother, Evann Crawford of Arlington, Texas; a step-sister, Amanda Sauls of Nashville, Tennessee; grandparents, Cecil and Pat Jones of Smoaks; grandmothers, Pat Lyles of Sanford, N.C. and Cathie Whiteside of Clebuburne, Texas; grandfather, Charles Lyles of Lillington, N.C.; grandparents, Sidney and Peggy Harrell of Bell Arthur, N.C.; great-grandparents, C.W. and Helen Jones of Walterboro; great-grandmother, Betty Clark of Cleburne, Texas; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Macayla Alexis Collom, 18 month old daughter of Jeffrey Collom and Shannon Steele Collom, died Tuesday at a Savannah hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 PM, Friday at Pioneer Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, will be in the church cemetery.
Miss Collum was born November 7, 2000 in Beaufort, S.C.

WALTERBORO - Patricia Padgett Wilt, 58, wife of Neil W. Wilt, died Wednesday at Colleton Medical Center.

Mrs. Wilt was born June 13, 1944 in Walterboro, a daughter of the late Harold Padgett, Sr. and Lucille Morningstar Padgett. She was a member of North Walterboro Baptist Church.

WALTERBORO - Faye Hudson Padgett, 59, a former engineer at Walterboro Dress Factory, died Wednesday at Roper Hospital in Charleston.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the Graveside in Bethel United Methodist Church cemetery near Bells, directed by the Fred Parker Funeral Home.
Mrs. Padgett was born Feb. 2, 1943 in Walterboro, a daughter of the late Kirkland K. Hudson and Hattie Stephens Hudson Bailey. She was a member of Grace Advent Christian Church.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, K. Chris and Tammy Padgett of Walterboro; two brothers, Francis V. Hudson and William (Billy) Hudson, both of Walterboro; and two granddaughters, Amber and Brittany Padgett, both of Walterboro.

Mr. Driggers was born September 13, 1952 in Moncks Corner, S.C., a son of William M. Driggers and Inez Elizabeth Dangerfield Driggers. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Stevie Driggers, Jr., and a brother, James T. Driggers.
Surviving are a daughter, Belinda Driggers Mitchum of Georgetown; a son, Chris Allen Driggers of Georgetown; a sister, Joyce Dangerfield of Summerville; a brother, William Driggers of Summerville; and two grandchildren, Brooke L. Mitchum and Marion G. Mitchum, IV.
