RIDGEWAY, Harriett
Harriett E. Ridgeway, 55, died Thursday, October 10, 2002 at her home in North Charleston.
Born January 11, 1947, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Furman S. and Doris Etheleen Dennis Ridgeway. She was a retired salesperson and a member of New Life Assembly in Charleston.
Surviving are a son, Walter Brian Kirby of Raeford, N.C.; five brothers, Furman J. Ridgeway, James L. Ridgeway, Charlie S. Ridgeway, and George A. Ridgeway, all of Sumter, and Henry A. Ridgeway of Santee; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning. A private burial will be held at a later date in Oak Grove cemetery in Manning.
The family will be at the home of George Ridgeway, 1885 Plowden Mill Road, Sumter.

MULLINAX, Elmer
Elmer "Fudd", 51, retired custom home builder and owner of Mullinax Construction Company, died Friday, October 4, 2002 at his residence in North Charleston. He is the son of Jessie K. Mullinax and Gladys Roach Mullinax of Greenville, SC, who predeceased him. Mr. Mullinax was a Viet Nam Era Veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3137, Isle of Palms, SC.
Mr. Mullinax leaves behind his loving family; His wife, Sara Jean Dickerson; two brothers, Earl Mullinax of Hollywood, SC, and Harold Mullinax of Orange Park, FL; six sisters, Janie Wilderspin, Elsie Alexander, Myrtle Holloway, Lavada Drake, Louise Barbrey and Pat Carter, all of Greenville, SC. His seventh sister, Sara Hudson of Greenville, SC, predeceased him. He also leaves behind three loving stepchildren, Mery Mitchell of Goose Creek, SC, Jesse Berrigan of Hackettstown, NJ, and Jo Ana Berrigan of North Charleston, SC, as well as three adoring grandchildren, J. Dustin Mitchell, Ana Leigh Berrigan and Joshua Berrigan, all of Charleston, S.C. and a multitude of nieces and nephews in Charleston and Greenville, S.C. He also leaves behind countless dear friends all over Charleston, SC, and around the country.
A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 12, 2002 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 150 Wentworth St., Charleston, SC. Family will receive relatives and friends after the service at 4772 Yardley Drive, Wando Woods, North Charleston, SC.

Robert Andes, Jr., 54, of Goose Creek, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2002. Born in Newark, N.J., on September 3, 1948. He was the son of Robert and Helen Andes. A veteran, he retired from the United States Navy as a Torpedo Man. Survivors include his wife, Barbara, three daughters, Jessica and Sarah Andes of Goose Creek, S.C., and Jeanette Stratton of N.J.; one son, Michael Andes of Goose Creek, S.C.; his parents, Robert and Helen Andes of N.J.; two sisters, Denise Lentz of Hazlet, N.J., and Deborah Cornett of West Keansburg, N.J.; and three grandchildren. FAWCETT, SR., Henry
Henry S. Fawcett, Sr., 92, of Moncks Corner, a retired maintenance manager with Uniroyal, died Wednesday at a North Charleston hospital.
The memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, at the church of the Holy Family. Burial, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, will be private.
Mr. Fawcett was born May 11, 1911, in New Bedford, Mass., a son of Albert Fawcett and Margaret Smalley Fawcett. He was a member and senior warden of the Church of the Holy Family. He was a member and past president of the Moncks Corner Rotary Club where he was a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award. He was a past master of the Middleburg Lodge in Middleburg, Mass. He was on the council for Boy Scouts of America. He was a former lieutenant of the fire alarm of Middleburg, Mass. He was a life member of the Berkeley Masonic Lodge #269 AFM.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys Kettle Fawcett of Moncks Corner; three sons, Walter I. Fawcett of Summerville, Warren E. Fawcett of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; Henry S. Fawcett, Jr., of Sumter; daughter, Lois C. Melford of North Attleboro, Mass.; two sisters, Burle Latourneau and Millicent Harju both of Middleburg, Mass.; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

HANNA, Rhea
HANNAH, S.C. - Rhea Lucille Prosser Hanna, 79, widow of Rhosia Jonathan Hanna, died Wednesday, October 9, 2002, at her home.
Mrs. Hanna was born in Hannah, a daughter of the late Ezelle Eugene Prosser and the late Pecolia Rodgers Prosser. She was a homemaker, a member of the Union Baptist Church and was a graduate of Hannah High School where she had perfect attendance for 11 years.
Surviving are six daughters, Jenny Bingham-Davila of San Antonio, Texas, Renee Davison of Hannah, S.C., Pansy Moore of Scranton, S.C., Suzanne Henry of Sparta, Tenn., Bonnie De Salvo of Greenville, S.C., and Jennifer Poston of Hanna; two brothers, Ansel Prosser of Indiantown, S.C., and Jerry Prosser of Hanahan, S.C.; three sisters, Charlotte Looney of Camden, S.C., June Bauknight of Cayce, S.C., and Mattie Varn of Greenville, S.C.; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hanna was pre-deceased by a son, Roger "Butch" Hanna; daughter, Karen Hanna Belflower; brothers, Eugene Prosser and Everett Prosser; sister, Barbara Prosser Kinsey. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, in the Union Baptist Church. Burial, directed by MORRIS FUNERAL HOME OF HEMINGWAY, will be in the church cemetery.
