BRANCHVILLE - Andrew Preston Williams, born on October 5, 2002, entered into Heaven on October 5, 2002.
He is survived by his parents Kris Williams and Connie E. Williams of Branchville, his brother Benjiman Tyler Williams of Branchville. Maternal grandparents, Jackie and Melody Ethridge of Branchville. Paternal grandparents are Paul and Lani Williams of St. George. Maternal great-grandmother Nell Ethridge of Branchville, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private service was held on Sunday, October 6, 2002, at the Ott cemetery in Branchville.

CURRY, Delores
Delores Maureen White Curry, 70, of Goose Creek, formerly of Canton, Ohio and wife of Douglas Curry, died Tuesday, October 15, 2002 in a North Charleston hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2002 at 11 o'clock in James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will be private.
Friends may call the funeral home from 10 o'clock until the hour of service on Saturday.
Mrs. Curry was born on July 12, 1932 in Charleston, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Charles Calloway White and Katherine Painter White. She graduated from schools of Charleston, West Virginia. She was a member of the VFW Ladson Post #3433 Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a retired Ceramic Shop owner. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Surviving are: her husband of Goose Creek; one daughter, Debra Barber and her husband Doug of Whitehall, Arkansas; one son, Douglas Curry and his wife Barbara of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Seth Barber of Batesville, Arkansas; Tara Barber of Whitehall, Arkansas; Vanessa Otts of Summerville, SC; Douglas Curry of Columbia, SC; Jennifer Curry of Goose Creek, SC; Victoria Curry of Summerville, SC; two brothers, David White of Charleston, WV and Keith White of Georgia.

ROACH, Katherine
Katherine Ann Roach, age 74, of Blackstone, died Wednesday, October 16, 2002. She is survived by four daughters and spouses, Elizabeth and Bobby Neal of Raleigh, N.C.; Nancy and Eleazar Rodriguez of Hayes, Va.; Helen and Bobby Dupree of Lanexa, Va.; Debra and Timothy Blanarik of Midlothian, Va.; a son, John Robert Wilburn, Jr., of Hampton, Va.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; a sister, Elizabeth Smoak Caine of Charleston, S.C.; a sister-in-law, Sandra R. Smoak; many nieces and nephews.
Katherine was known for her athletic abilities, her volunteer service to hospitals and nursing homes. She was a member of the Christian Church and always sang in the church choir. We will remember Katherine for her Christian poetry, which was published weekly in the Kenbridge-Victoria Dispatch by "Kitty Wilburn."
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2002, at the HAMNER-MCMILLAN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, with interment in Lakeview cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of services.
ROGERS, Catherine
Catherine Elizabeth Carroll Rogers, 73, of Charleston, widow of MSGT Earl Dean Rogers "E.D." USAF (Ret.) died Wednesday afternoon at her residence.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 18, 2002, at 2 o'clock in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 405 King St., Charleston. Inurnment will be in Westview cemetery in Augusta, Ga. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter following the memorial service.

Mrs. Rogers was born May 27, 1929, in Augusta, Ga. She was the daughter of the late William Edwin Carroll and Sallie Elizabeth Lassiter Carroll. She was a graduate of St. Andrews High School, class of 1947. She was a member of Berkeley Shrine Ladies. She was a telephone operator with Southern Bell and later worked as Administrative Assistant with Daugherty Marine & Medical University of South Carolina.
Survivors are, Diane Miller and her husband Rus of Charleston; five grandsons, Joseph Jones, Adam Jones and Joshua Miller, all of Charleston, James Bishop, Jr., stationed with the U.S. Army in Korea, Tillman Bishop of Bay Springs, Miss.; one granddaughter, Angela Phillips of Houston, Texas. She was predeceased by her daughter, Elaine Deborah Bishop.
