LONDON, OH - Evelyn Kathleen (Winner) Bennett, 92, died Saturday, October 19, 2002 in Charleston, South Carolina. Born in Columbus, Ohio June 29, 1910 a daughter of Edward A. and Amy (Graffis) Winner. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Reverend Harley Paul Bennett, and a brother, Francis Winner.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by daughters, Betty Ruth Bennett Ogilvie (Robert) of Charleston; Janet Marie Bennett Sollars Newberry (Richard) of London, Ohio; Sandra Lee Bennett Weatherwax (Rodman) of Powell, Ohio. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren and a nephew, Dennis Winner.
Her 92 years were filled with love, selfless service and a deep and abiding faith. She was a devoted pastor's wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a faithful member in each church parish in which her husband served; a missionary to the Island of Dominica, the West Indies, and later to the Mexican border, and a dear friend to many.

Wanda Mae Gary Gary, 68, of Charleston, widow of Rufus Joseph Gary, died Saturday, October 19, 2002 at her residence. Mrs. Gary was born May 26, 1934 in Hathaway, LA, a daughter of Odelon and Rhia Thibodeaux Gary. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Gary is survived by her mother, four daughters, a son, twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a sister and three brothers. Services for Mrs. Gary will be private. KELLY, Patricia
Patricia Ann Kelly, 53, of Charleston, wife of George William Hopkins and a professor at the College of Charleston, died Saturday, October 19, 2002 at her residence. Mrs. Kelly was born November 18, 1948 in Wichita Falls, Texas, the daughter of William Jackson and Mary Virginia Cavanaugh Kelly. She is survived by her husband of Charleston and two sons: Demian Patrick Wynes of Philadelphia, PA and Adam Clifford Wynes of Charleston. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. HOUSTON, MO - Doris Virginia Nash, age 79, passed away October 19, 2002 in Houston, MO.
Mrs. Nash was born in Shreveport, LA on October 19, 1923 to Harper B. Clark, Jr. and Viola Hoffman Clark.
She was preceded in death by her husband George A. Nash and one son.
Mrs. Nash lived for many years in the Wappoo Heights district of Charleston, SC where she and her husband raised their family of three girls.
They were members of Holy Communion Episcopal Church and enjoyed visiting with many friends and business acquaintances.
Mrs. Nash is survived by three daughters and their spouses; Lynn and Kerry Lewis, Caroline and Randy Bryson of Houston, MO and Charlotte and Edgar Taylor of Laurens, SC; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Interment at St. Andrews cemetery in Charleston, SC.

Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Mealer of Summerville; two daughters, Rachel Mealer Kilgo of Douglas, Ala., and Robin Mealer Long of Summerville; one sister, Jeaniece Denson Allen of Birmingham, Ala.; three grandchildren, Amy Gibson and Carrie Gibson, both of Summerville, and David Kilgo of Douglas, Ala.; and one great-grandson, Andrew Hartfield of Summerville.
