Debra Ann Sutton Andrews, 46, wife of Thomas Andrews of James Island passed away Wednesday, October 2ndat her residence. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia to Carlton G. Sutton and Dottie Sutton-Barber. She is survived by her parents of James Island, her husband, a daughter Susan Marie Pontiff of Charleston, two sons, Justin Thomas Andrews and Seth Jordan Andrews, a sister, Donna Sutton Dawson of Charleston, and a granddaughter, Payton Pontiff. Pall Bearers for Debra Andrews will be Richard Dawson, Wayne Goodale, Raymond Covington, Rusty Burbage, Tim Saye, and Jim Alderman. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Vince Ronk, and Michael Sutton. Mrs. Bingham was born in Walterboro, S.C., on June 18, 1916, the daughter of Larry and Emma Kinsey Benton. She was a weaver at GARCO and a member of Cooper River Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Gloria Jean Smith of Hayworth, Okla., and Patty Murray of North Charleston, S.C.; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Born January 15, 1926 in Rosinville, SC, Mr. Infinger was the son of the late Lebby P. and Bertilla Infinger Infinger. He was a retired General Superintendent with Ruscon Construction Company and was an Army veteran and served in WWII. Mr. Infinger was a member of Indian Field United Methodist Church and also attended Cokesbury United Methodist Church and was a member of Good Cheer Sunday School Class.
Mr. Infinger is survived by his wife, Mary G. Infinger of N. Charleston, a daughter, Phyllis I. Burk and her husband, Douglas of Richland, Washington, three grandchildren, Cortney, Phillip and Elliott Burk, three great-grandchildren, Blake, Cassidy and Zayne, a brother, James L. BYRDIC, Ruth
KINGSTREE - Ruth Gettys Byrdic, widow of Hubert P. Byrdic, died October 4th, 2002 at The Presbyterian Home of South Carolina in Florence.
Mrs. Byrdic was born on March 18th, 1904, in York County, a daughter of William E. Gettys and Alice Rosina Hogue Gettys. She was a graduate of York County High School and Erskine College with a B.A. degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Byrdic, was a retired school teacher having taught 39 years in York, Sumter and Williamsburg counties. She served as principal of Williamsburg Elementary School for the last 15 years of her teaching career. She was a faithful, active member of Lane Presbyterian Church and Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. Her kind, Christian manner was a source of inspiration to all who knew her. She held a special presence in the lives of her family and her memory will always be a source of strength and comfort.
Survivors include, her daughter, Anne Byrdic Caison and husband, Danny Caison of Kingstree, sisters, Elizabeth Parsons of Rock Hill, Lee Hope of Matthews, NC, brothers, William M. Gettys and Dr. Joseph M. Gettys of Clinton, SC, David Brice Gettys of Matthews, NC; two granddaughters, Amy Wiggins and husband David Wiggins of Kingstree, Rosanne Boyd and husband Jarrie Boyd of Kingstree; and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Byrdic was preceded in death by her husband, granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Caison, sisters, Alice Carter Murray and Romay Robinson, and brothers, Ebenezer (Si) Gettys, Erwin (Red) Gettys and Robert Hogue Gettys.
Services will be held 3 PM Sunday, at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church with burial following at Kingstree Memorial Gardens, directed by WILLIAMSBURG FUNERAL HOME.

Florence V. Hopkins, 87, of Charleston, died Wednesday, October 2nd at a local hospital. She was the wife of the late John Hopkins. Born in Charleston to the late James L. and Florence Munro Valentine. She was a graduate of Bishop England High School and St. Angela's Academy in Aiken, S.C. Mrs. Hopkins retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard as an assistant supervisor in the Supply Department. She was a former residence of the Catholic Orphanage that was located on Queen St. Mrs. Hopkins attended Nativity Catholic Church. Surviving Mrs. Hopkins are three daughters, Mary Hopkins Burns, JoAnn F. Boswell, and Romona Patrick, all of Charleston, four sons, John L. Hopkins, Henry Norman Hopkins, David L. Hopkins, and Carl T. Hopkins, all of Charleston, also eighteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

BUNCH, Samuel
Samuel Odell Bunch, 73, of Bamberg, S.C., died Thursday, October 3, 2002, at a nursing center in Bamberg. He was born in Norway, S.C., to the late Odell Matthew and Drucilla Axon Bunch. He was a lifelong Bamberg resident. Mr. Bunch retired in 1998 from both the Bamberg Fire Department and Brothers Tree Company, he had also worked previously with Rocklon. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is survived by his wife, Pamala Morey Bunch, three sons, Samuel "Sammy" O. Bunch, Jr., of Orangeburg, Robert "Rock" Allen Bunch and Michael Scott Burbage, both of Darlington, two daughters, Kathryn "Kitty" Bunch Graham of Barnwell, Sandra "Nita" Wanita Burbage Godbold of Darlington, three sisters, Dolly Bessinger of Fayetteville, N.C., Myrtle Luminello of Bamberg, Linda Duffie of Mt. Pleasant, 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and also his favorite companion "Chip." He was predeceased by two sons, Ronald Wayne Bunch and David Lee Burbage, and two sisters, Juddy Lou Clark and Pearl Burbage. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Pentecostal Holiness Church on Saturday. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 6, 2002, at Pentecostal Holiness Church, Church St., with burial in South End cemetery, all in Bamberg.
