BRUNSON, Kenneth
KINGSTREE, S.C. - Funeral services for the late Mr. Kenneth Louis Brunson will be held Saturday, September 14, 2002, at 4 p.m., at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Kingstree, S.C. Interment will follow in churchyard cemetery. The Rev. Frank James, Pastor, will conduct the religious services. Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Rites will be performed in the funeral home chapel Friday evening at 7 p.m., DIMERY AND ROGERS FUNERAL HOME IN KINGSTREE, S.C., is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Brunson, 37, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 8, 2002, at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, S.C.
He was born in Kingstree, S.C., a son of the late Mr. Wilson McKnight Sr. (Saxon) and Mrs. Scennie Mae Graham Brunson.
He was educated in the public schools of Williamsburg County. He was a graduate of Kingstree Sr. High School, and South Carolina State College in Orangeburg, S.C., with a bachelor of Science in General Business Administration and continued further studies.
He was employed at CVS as a manager and formerly employed with South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole, and Pardon Services as a Probation Officer.
He was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity; and a former member of Knights of Pythagoras.
Loved ones who will cherish his memories forever are: one daughter, Ms. Megan Brunson of Columbia, S.C.; three brothers, Mr. Jalester Brunson (Linda) of Kingstree, S.C.; Wilson McKnight (Betty) of Kingstree, S.C., and Norman Lucious McKnight (Lisa) of Kingstree, S.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Jaunita Brunson, and Mrs. Doretha Cooper (Elder Lindwood Cooper) both of Kingstree, S.C.; one sister-in-law Rosalee McKnight of Kingstree, S.C.; one brother-in-law, Mr. Walter Williams of Rochester, N.Y.; two aunts, Mrs. Mary Gordon of Lanes, S.C., and Mrs. Pansy Cooper Snow of Mullins, S.C., and a special aunt Landeas McKnight (Paul) of Kingstree, S.C., and a special loving cousin, and dear friend Michael McKnight, Sr. (Trinette) of Kingstree, S.C., nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

WILLCOX, Eva
SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. - Mrs. Eva Siler Willcox, 92, of Mount Pleasant, S.C., died Sunday, September 8, 2002.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2002, at Euphronia Presbyterian Church in Sanford, preceded by a 10:45 a.m. Burial in the church cemetery.
Born November 3, 1909, in Staley, she was the wife of the late George W. Willcox.
Mrs. Willcox was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Frances Willcox of Pinehurst and Ann Willcox Parker of Dale City, Calif.
She is survived by one daughter, Amelia Katherine Willcox MacRae of Southern Pines, two sons, George W. Willcox of Wilmington and R. Palmer Willcox of Raeford, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

SUGGS, Wilbert
Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of September 11, 2002, Wilbert Carroll Suggs, Sr., husband of Lizzie Cumbee Suggs. Residence, Johns Island, S.C. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Carroll Suggs, Sr., are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Saturday at 2 o'clock in the First Baptist Church, Johns Island. Mr. Suggs was born April 21, 1912, in Walterboro, S.C., the son of George S. Suggs and Martha Bazzle Suggs. He retired as a Personnel Specialist from the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He was an associate charter member of the First Baptist Church, Johns Island. He was a member of the Sea Island Yacht Club.
He is survived by his wife of Johns Island, S.C.; one son, W. Carroll Suggs, Jr., of Rockville, S.C.; four daughters, Jeanette S. Florio of Summerville, S.C.; Joanne S. Burkes of Pittsboro, N.C.; Gail S. Alexander of Penacook, N.H., and Wanda S. Kilroy of Goose Creek, S.C.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

HARP, Thomas
Thomas P. Harp, 61, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 11, 2002 at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Charleston, SC.
Born in Algood, Tennessee on September 25, 1940, son of Willie Clayton and Verna Whiteaker Harp.
Mr. Harp was a US Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the South Carolina Auctioneer Association and maintained two businesses, Harp’s Trucking and Tri-County Auction.
He was the beloved father of Kenny and Ralph Harp of Tennessee. Surviving are two sisters, Ann Smith of Nashville, Tennessee and Ruby Anderson of Toledo, Ohio; three brothers, Thurman Harp of Cincinnati, Ohio; David Harp of Knightstown, Indiana; and Raymond Harp of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three granddaughters, Susie, Stephanie and Madison Harp; two grandsons, Brent and Garrett Lindsey.
