FULLER, JR., George
North Augusta, SC…Mr. George Kindred Fuller, Jr., 79, of Canton Drive, entered into rest Monday, November 25, 2002 at National Health Care.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2002 in the chapel of ROWLAND FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Jerry T. Matthews and Rev. Adam Roberts officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens with full military honors accorded at the graveside.
Mr. Fuller was born on June 4, 1923 in Russell County, Virginia to the late George Kindred Fuller, Sr. and Jettie Ratcliff Fuller.
Mr. Fuller enlisted in the Navy in 1940. Mr. Fuller was in the Pacific Fleet, during World War II, and the Korean Conflict. He retired with the following decorations; Pre-Pearl American Defense, Asiatic Pacific, World War II Victory, Good Conduct, Korean Service Ribbon, National Defense Medal and Philippine Occupation Medal and China Service Award.
Mr. Fuller was a member of First Baptist Church of North Augusta. He was a lifetime member of the Dave Masonic Lodge #14 of Key West, Florida, the York Rite in Kodiak, Alaska, and the Omar Shriners Temple of Charleston, South Carolina. He was the owner of Flowertown Kennels.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Hassell (Gaynell) Boyd and Mrs. Kyle (Eura) Thompson.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Opal Liner Fuller, formerly of Charleston, TN; a daughter and son-in-law, Wanda Jean Fuller Coleman and Archie W. Coleman of North Augusta, SC; two sisters, Kazel Harmon of Elizabethon, TN and Mrs. Judson (Eilene) Brehmer of Clinton, SC; three granddaughters, Mrs. David (Lisa) Heape of Lynn Haven, FL, Mrs. Dan (Jill) Roberts and Mrs. Jeremy (Sally) Bone both of North Augusta, SC; four great-grandchildren, Jessica Roberts, Brian Heape, Ashley Roberts and Kristin Heape.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 p.m.

Mrs. Stramm was born April 1, 1905 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of William A. Wise and Florence Johnstono Wise. She was a member of Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church where she retired as the Church secretary.
She is survived by one son: H. Augie Stramm and his wife Toni of Charleston; a daughter-in-law, Sue Stramm of Charleston; 5 grandchildren: Susan Johnson, Leigh Stramm, Carol Keen, Kenneth Stramm and Dale Rochester; 7 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, five children, Bonnie Lampart of Spring Hill, Fla., Wesley B. Eastman of Isle of Palms, S.C., Dorothy Isaacs of Silver Springs, Md., Jayne Eastman (Gangi) of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Denice Fischer of Marlborough, Conn., 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
