She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. Mrs. Edgerton is survived by her son William Edgerton of Jacksonville, FL., a sister, Mrs. Kathryn M. Seawright of Redlands, California, and a brother, Maurice Marshall of Orlando, FL. Graveside Services will be 2PM Friday, November 29that Magnolia cemetery. Frances Cade Scott Cain, 89, of McClellanville died Wednesday, November 27that her residence. Born in Charleston to the late John Henry and Margaret O’Neil Cade. She was a graduate of Bishop England High School and St. Francis School of Nursing where she was a member of the St. Francis Nursing Association, served as a Charleston county nurse during WWII, and retired from Bon Secours- St. Francis Hospital as a floor supervisor. Mrs. Cain was married
to the late Dr. James E. Scott, Jr., who died in 1957 and then she married
the late Dr. Joseph P. Cain who died in 1971. She was predeceased by her step-son, J.P. Cain, III and son, John Cade Scott. Her two sons, James E. Scott and his wife Mary of McClellanville, George F. Scott and his wife Sara of McClellanville, a step- daughter, Eleanor Cain Jenkins and her husband Douglas of Dillon, SC, also six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild survive Mrs. Cain.
