PINEVILLE, S.C. - Mrs. Gloria (Juice) Mazyck, 45, of 858 Frazier Lane, Pineville, died November 23, 2002, at her residence. Funeral services will be Friday, November 29, noon, at Unity Baptist Church, Eutawville, S.C. Rev. S.T. Nelson will officiate. Burial in Jehovah cemetery, Eadytown, S.C. Mrs. Mazyck was born to Eleanor H. Eadie and the late Paul Richard Eadie, on July 15, 1958, in Newark, N.J.
Survivors include, two daughters, Shakira (Harvey) Mitchell of Atlanta, Ga., Chamonque Mazyck of the home, her mother, Eleanor Hunter of Cross, S.C., three sisters, Linda B. Robinson of North Charleston, Gwendolyn R. Singleton of Bonneau, S.C., Lisa N. Collins of Summerville, S.C., one brother, Paul R. Eadie, Jr., of Grayson, Ga., her father-in-law, Mr. Charlie Mazyck of Cross, S.C., one sister-in-law, three uncles and three aunts.
Viewing will be at the funeral home chapel from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 28.

WYNN, Thomas
Thomas Joseph Wynn, of North Charleston, died Tuesday, November 26, 2002, at a local nursing home.
A funeral service will be held Friday, November 29, 2002, 11 AM at Deer Park Baptist Church, 8875 University Blvd., North Charleston, SC. Burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
Born February 8, 1931 in Bullock County, GA, he was the son of the late Rev. George Dewey Wynn and Dicy Anderson Wynn.
Mr. Wynn was retired from the transportation industry. He was a member of the Deer Park Baptist Church. He was involved with the senior adult ministry. He was a Mason and former Shriner of the Allee Temple in Savannah, GA.
Mt. Wynn was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Dasher and a sister, Audrey O'Brian.
Survivors include: his wife, Helen Gaskins Dennis Wynn of North Charleston; son, Kenneth Wynn of Savannah, GA; two stepdaughters, Millicent Bursey and husband Mark of Savannah, Meloney Shipley and husband Keith of Fairview, NC; a stepson, Charles Dennis, II and wife Patty of Charleston; two sisters, Marjorie Edwards and husband Roger of Mt. Vernon, GA, Betty Parrish and husband Fred of Statesboro, GA; two brothers, Riley Wynn of Ellisville, Mississippi and Dewey Wynn of San Diego, CA; fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Sellars was born July 26, 1911 in Ware Shoals, SC, a daughter of Andrew Hughes and Minnie Ashley Hughes. She was a homemaker.

CRAVEN, Duane
Duane Lonnie Craven, 40, of Bonneau, died Tuesday at a North Charleston hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 AM, Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Bonneau. Burial, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, will be in Macedonia Christian Church cemetery.
Mr. Craven was born October 19, 1962 in Kingstree, a son of David L. Craven and Helen Burkett Craven.
Surviving are his mother, Helen Burkett Craven of Bonneau; brother, Martin R. Craven of Bonneau; a sister, Donna Craven of Bonneau.

WALTERBORO - Mrs. Barbara Mizzell Beach, 56, of 601 Klein Street, died Tuesday at the Colleton Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Saturday, November 30, in the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOMES, WALTERBORO CHAPEL. Interment will be in Live Oak cemetery.
Mrs. Beach was born May 1, 1946 in Charleston and was a daughter of the late Arthur and Thelma Driggers Mizzell. She was a cook with the Colleton Middle School, Campus B. She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church and was a member of the Community Chapter #206 Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are: her husband of 41 years, Herman Beach, Jr.; a daughter, Angela Hill of Walterboro; four sons: Anthony Beach of Ruffin and David Beach, Daniel Beach, and Michael Beach all of Walterboro; a brother, Marion Mizzell of Boiling Springs; and thirteen grandchildren.

Claudia "Nell" Hargrove Whitson, 83, of Chester, California, formerly of Ridgeville, South Carolina and widow of Doyle Monroe Whitson, died Friday, November 22, 2002 in a California hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 1 o'clock in James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will be in Bonnie Rest cemetery, Ridgeville.

Mrs. Whitson was born on January 17, 1919 in Ridgeville, SC, the daughter of the late Patrick Henry Hargrove and Claudia Geneva Owens Hargrove. She was the last surviving graduate of Ridgeville High School, class of 1936. She was a retired cosmetologist and a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Tabor Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, James Doyle Whitson of Sierra Madre, California; a daughter, Donna Whitson Shelton of Chester, California; a very special granddaughter, Robin Whitson Penrod of Cal Pines, California; surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Harry and Woodrow Hargrove; 2 sisters, Allie Mae Austin & Evelyn H. Rogers.

AMEND, Floyd
Family and friends of Floyd Logan Amend will celebrate his life on Saturday, November 30, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church on Enota Drive, Gainesville, Ga.
Mr. Amend was a native of Rocky Ford, Colorado. After serving in World War II, he attended the University of Colorado, obtaining a B.S. in Petroleum Refining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 1953.
Upon graduating, Mr. Amend joined E.I. Dupont Company, Savannah River Plant, where he was involved with the nuclear reactor operations. In 1958, he moved to Gainesville after joining Lockheed Georgia Company, was associated with Lockheed Radiation Effects Facility dealing with the effects of radiation of material products as Nuclear Engineer Specialist.
preceded in death by his parents Joe and Katherine Amend, his sister, Mary Hallows and his brother, Robert Amend.
Survivors include his wife, Frances M. Amend, Gainesville; daughter, Anne A. Vandervort, a granddaughter Aleisha Lauren Vandervort of Eden Prairie, N.M., two sisters in Colorado, brother in Idaho, niece, Gail F. Truluck and grandnephews, Brad Truluck and his wife Jody all of Charleston, S.C., and Douglas Truluck and wife Chris of Columbia, S.C., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances Cade Scott Cain, 89, of McClellanville died Wednesday, November 27that her residence. Born in Charleston to the late John Henry and Margaret O’Neil Cade. She was a graduate of Bishop England High School and St. Francis School of Nursing where she was a member of the St. Francis Nursing Association, served as a Charleston county nurse during WWII, and retired from Bon Secours- St. Francis Hospital as a floor supervisor. to the late Dr. James E. Scott, Jr., who died in 1957 and then she married
the late Dr. Joseph P. Cain who died in 1971. She was predeceased by her step- son, J.P. Cain, III and son, John Cade Scott. Her two sons, James E. Scott and his wife Mary of McClellanville, George F. Scott and his wife Sara of McClellanville, a step- daughter, Eleanor Cain Jenkins and her husband Douglas of Dillon, SC, and a nephew, John H. Murphy of Savannah, GA, also six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild survive Mrs. Cain.
