LAURENS, SC - Beatrice Lothridge Barnett, born July 5, 1925, went to heaven on Friday, November 22, 2002.
Beatrice was the wife of the late Henry B. Barnett, Sr. and mother of three children, Henry B. Barnett, Jr. of Orange Park, FL, Diana B. Westmoreland of Isle of Palms, SC, and Juanita B. Finley of Beaufort, SC. She also has 7 grandchildren including James Westmoreland, Jr. (Westy) and Kim W. Eppelsheimer, both of Mt. Pleasant, and 9 great-grandchildren.

DONEHUE, Thomas
Mr. Thomas Wesley Donehue, 55, of 140 West Co-Op Road near Hampton, died late Saturday night at his residence after a brief illness.
Mr. Donehue was born in Hampton County, January 14, 1947, a son of Thomas Robert Donehue and the late Verdia Mae Proveaux Donehue. He was a construction worker and an active weight trainer and weight lifter. Surviving besides his father of Brunson are: two daughters, Carlotta Fabienne Geiser of Germantown, MD and Twyla Natasha Donehue of Hampton; two brothers, Larry and Wayne Donehue, both of Hampton; two sisters, Deborah Ward of Hampton and Cathy DeLoach of Brunson. Funeral services will be 3 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME in Hampton.

NEMETH, JR., Stephen
Entered into eternal rest on November 25, 2002, Stephen Alexander Nemeth, Jr., husband of Betty Ingle Nemeth. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Alexander Nemeth, Jr. are invited to attend the funeral services of the former in J. Mr. Nemeth, 73, was born July 17, 1929, in Newwark, NJ, the son of the late Stephen A. Nemeth and Elsie Knorr Harvey Nemeth. He was a retired Professor of Mathematics with Trident Technical College, was previously on the faculty of Baptist College, now Charleston Southern University. He was a member of Summerville Baptist Church and an US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Nemeth graduated from Indiana Institute of Technology, received his Masters in Mathematics from Ball State University. He studied at the University of North Carolina under a National Science Foundation grant and attended The University of South Carolina. He was an accomplished power lifter and martial artist.
Surviving are his wife of North Charleston, SC; a son, Stephen A. Nemeth, III of North Charleston, SC; and two sisters, Ginger Melton of Raleigh, NC and Marie Nemeth Boiling of Columbia, SC.
WALKER, Chad
Chad James Walker, 31, of Moncks Corner, a mechanic, died Saturday in Moncks Corner.
The funeral and burial will be private according to RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner.
Mr. Walker was born September 16, 1971 in El Cajon, CA, a son of James Robert Walker and Catherine Fowler Walker.
Surviving are his wife, Amy Williams Walker of Waipahu, Hawaii; parents of Moncks Corner; two daughters, Kayla Walker and Krystal Walker, both of Waipahu, Hawaii; brother, Charles Robert Walker of Charleston; maternal grandparents, Chuck and Bonnie Fowler of Phoenix, Arizona.

DEVINE, St. Julian
St. Julian Walton Devine, 60, of Charleston, S.C., died Wednesday, November 20, 2002, in Charleston. Mr. Devine was born March 3, 1942, in Charleston, S.C., the son of the late Charleston City Councilman, St. Julian Frank Devine and the late Priscilla Walton Devine.
St. Julian was a graduate of Burke High School, Class of 1960, and the Pratt Institute, New York City, after which he embarked upon his lifetime career, and architect. Renowned for his designs, his work has been erected from New York, to Chicago, Miami, Fla., and numerous places throughout the country. He was sought after because of the simplicity, beauty, and high quality of his work. St. Julian was also known for his oil paintings as well. St. Julian was a devoted father, son and brother. He is survived by his children, Mrs. Deanna Devine-Smith, Mr. Linja Devine, Ms. Torrika Devine, Mrs. Elainna Devine-Silva, Mrs. Tayuana Devine-Brown, Mr. Kareem Davis and Ms. Lashawn Devine, his brothers and sisters, Mrs. Claudell Baxter, Mrs. Juliette D. Reid (deceased), Mrs. Francena D. Pinckney, Rev. Wills Bernard Devine, Rev. Kenneth M. Devine, Mrs. Sara D. Johnson, Mrs. Paulette D. Collier, Mrs. Cassandra D. Floyd, Ms. Jacaqnetta Elaine Devine.
