BONNER, Homer
Homer S. Bonner, 82, of Macedonia, a retired security sergeant with the Citadel, died Monday at a Charleston hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 AM, Thursday, at Oak Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church. Entombment, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, will be in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bonner was born September 21, 1920 in Georgia, a son of William B. Bonner and Donna Gardner Bonner. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II serving in Korea and the Philippines. He was affiliated with Oak Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Tisdale Bonner of Macedonia; two sons, Kenneth M. Bonner of Macedonia and Reverend W. Benjamin Bonner of Simpsonville, SC; daughter, Deborah B. Hood of Macedonia; five grandchildren.

FINIGAN, William
WALTERBORO - MGySgt. William Francis Finigan, United States Marine Corps (Ret.), 75, of 1247 Peurifoy Road, died Monday, November 18, 2002 in the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston.
Funeral services with full military honors will be held 11:30 o'clock Thursday, November 21, 2002 in Beaufort National cemetery.
Master Gunnery Sergeant Finigan was born September 6, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY and was a son of the late Charles and Ethel Root Finigan of Mount Vernon, NY. He was educated in Westchester County, NY and upon completion of high school entered the Armed Forces at the age of 17. He was a World War II and Korean Conflict veteran, and was a recruiter during the Vietnam War for the Marine Corps. He enlisted in the US Navy on September 18, 1944 and served until April 29, 1946. He then enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served until his retirement on March 31, 1968. While in active duty he was the recipient of the American Theater Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal, WWII Victory Medal, China Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Korean Presidential Unit Citation, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Mast, Pistol Expert Badge, and the Good Conduct Medal, some of these medals and citations he was awarded numerous times. He was a member of the "Chosin Few, " an international society of the survivors of the "Battle of the Chosin Reservoir."
After his time in service, Mr. Finigan then settled in Walterboro, and became the announcer and news director at WALD Radio Station for over ten years. He was of the Catholic Faith. He volunteered his time to the Walterboro Band of Blue of which his son is a director.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-one years, Mrs. Frances Hood Finigan; a son, Mr. Tom Finigan and his wife Lori of Walterboro; two daughters, Mrs. Patty Knight and her husband, Robert of Simpsonville, and Ms. Eileen McNulty of Chattanooga, TN; and four grandchildren, Kristen J. Knight, Jessica C. McNulty, Thomas E. Finigan, and William F. Finigan, III.

Mr. Farahwashi, 74, was born in Rezaihe, Iran, April 27, 1928, the son of Ali Mohamed Farahvashi and Farough Davoodi Farahvashi. He was a reitired electronics engineer for the Design and Production Incorporated. Mr. Farahwashi received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in French Literature from the Sorbonne University, Paris, France, honorary engineering degree from Tehran University and also an honorary engineering degree from the Polytechnic Institute of Tehran, Iran.
Surviving are his wife of Hollywood, SC; two sons, Shahriar Farahvashi of Meggett, SC and Ramin Farahvashi of Hollywood, SC; one daughter, Sherri F. Nester of Hollywood, SC; two brothers, Roohalah Farahvashi of Tehran, Iran and Hooshang Farahvashi of Tehran, Iran; five grandchildren, Evelyn Rodriguez, Rusty Nester, Arya Farahvashi, Ella Farahvashi, and Highland Farahvashi.

Paul Britton Wren, Sr., 70, of MacBeth, SC, a former lead man welder for Braswell Shipyard, died Sunday in a Charleston hospital.

Mr. Wren was born April 25, 1932 in Cordesville, SC, a son of James Richard Wren and Fossie Mae Fender Wren. Mr. Wren served as Staff Sgt. in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Rehobeth United Methodist Church and a former employee of SCE&G. He was a graduate of Berkeley High School.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Cutrell Wren, a son, Paul B. Wren, Jr., of Beulaville, NC; three daughters: Darlyne W. Priester of Charleston, Brenda W. Wheeler of Oceanside, CA, and Janice W. Adderley of Milwaukee, Oregon; a brother, Jason F. Wren of Mesquite, TX; three grandchildren, Charles Adderley, Davis Priester, and Kerri Priester; and three great-grandchildren.
DUBOIS, Inez
WALTERBORO - Inez Dubois, 73, died Friday, November 15, 2002 in a local hospital.
The funeral will be on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at 1:00 PM in Praise Tabernacle Holiness Church in Ruffin. Burial will be directed by HAMILTON'S FUNERAL HOME in Westview Memorial Gardens, also in Ruffin.
Mrs. Dubois was born in Colleton County, a daughter of the late Ben and Rebecca Lingard. She attended the public schools in Colleton County. She was a member of Praise Tabernacle Holiness Church where she was the Church Mother.
Surviving are: her husband, Jasper Dubois, of the home; two sons, Lee Dubois and John L. Dubois, both of Walterboro; two daughters, Rebecca Ann Martin of Summerville and Carolyn Dubois of Durham, SC; two brothers, Mondell Lingard of Hartford, CT and Harold Lingard of Orangeburg; five sisters: Mary Sanders of Brooklyn, NY, Queen Ester Lingard of New York City, NY, Candy Cardenez and Reba Lawton of Ruffin and Eunice Hall of Pittsburg, PA; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
