Kate Brown, 73, of Moncks Corner, died Friday, November 15, 2002, at a hospital in North Charleston. Born September 9, 1929, in Lyons, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Hinton and Rainey Dixon (nee Wilkes). She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Bennie Brown, Moncks Corner; three sons, Wendell Lott, Jacksonville, Fla., Tommy Lott, St. Mary's, Ga., and Danny Lott, Moncks Corner; brother, Parnell Dixon, Bedford, Texas; seven grandchildren, Timmy, Shawn, Tonya, Rebecca, Crystal, Leslie, and Guerin; and six great-grandchildren, Cody, Alexis, Danielle, Megan, Hayley, and Logan. EUTAWVILLE Mrs. Nora Wiley Aultman, 72, of 130 Aultman St., Eutawville, died Sunday morning at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
The funeral will be 11 AM Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at the First Baptist Church in Eutawville with Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. Burial with Eastern Star Rites will follow in the Eutawville cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 10 AM.
Mrs. Aultman was born in Damascus, Ga. a daughter of the late Lemuel W. Wiley and Inah T. Wiley. She was a graduate of Damascus High School, and she was a member of the First Baptist Church, Eutawville. She was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Vance Eastern Star #287. She was first married
to the late Luvon Fowler of Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Survivors include her husband, Gwin E. Aultman of the home; daughter, Mrs. Kathy Ellis of Antreville, SC; five sons and daughters-in-law, Buddy and Beth Fowler of Anderson, SC, Darryl and Vera Kay Fowler of Panama City, Fla., Wayne Fowler of Conn., Lt. Luvon and Alice Fowler of Mary Ester, Fla., an d Robert and Tina Brown of Knoxville, Tenn.; daughter-in-law, Kim (Thomas) Brown of Charleston, SC; sister, Mrs. Omera Thomas of Taylors, SC; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

HEATLEY, James
ELLOREE, S.C. - James Robert Heatley, 78, of St. Matthews, S.C., died Sunday, November 17, 2002, in the Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2002, in Jerusalem United Methodist Church cemetery. Rev. Ray Anderson will officiate. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday.
Born July 14, 1924, Mr. Heatley was the son of the late Barrs Legree and Florence Victoria Shuler Heatley. Mr. Heatley was born in Orangeburg County. He as a member of the Jerusalem United Methodist Church. Mr. Heatley was employed by the town of Elloree Water Department in Maintenance for many years. He was a former member of the F.B.I. Hunting Club.
Survivors include three sisters, Annie Lee Shuler and Flossie Mae Jones, both of Elloree and Elizabeth Flinkingshelt, Greenville, S.C., and a number of nieces and nephews.

POLZIN, Donald

Mr. Polzin was born in Detroit, Mich., on February 9, 1930, the son of the late Arnold H. Polzin and Mary Doolittle Polzin. He retired from the USAF and the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He was active in the National Pilot's Association and the Lowcountry Racing Pigeons Association.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Polzin and son Donald N. Polzin of Summerville, S.C., and nieces and nephews.

MALANOS, Emmanuel

Mr. Malanos was born in Samos, Greece, June 19, 1914, the son of George Emmanuel and Despina Menegus Malanos. He served in the merchant marines and immigrated to Charleston in 1943 where he owned several groceries and florists. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity and had served on the parish council.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Koula Bazakas Malanos of Charleston; one son, George E. Malanos, M.D., of Charleston; two daughters, Despina M. Brewer of Murrells Inlet and Lindsay E. Malanos of Charleston and six grandchildren, Michael, Troy, Adriane, Lauren, Peter, and Adam.
