TAYLOR, Martha
Martha Elizabeth Mincy Taylor, 82, widow of James Oliver Jelks Taylor, of Summerville, SC died November 9, 2002 at a Charleston hospital.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 11, 2002 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home this Sunday evening from 6 - 8 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Thomson United Methodist Church, Main St., Thomson, GA 30824.
Mrs. Taylor was born July 7, 1920 in Savannah, GA, a daughter of John Leon Mincy and Maggie Viola Evans Mincy. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Judith T. Cranford of Summerville; son, James O. J. Taylor, III of Atlanta; sister, Edith Mincy McCown of Summerville, 7 grandchildren, Hank Cranford of Ridgeville, Catherine Culp of Summerville, John Taylor and Annise Taylor, both of Atlanta, Amy Foster of Los Angeles, Karyn Foster of Africa and Joshua Greenberg of Clearwater, FL; 4 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by her husband and a daughter, Martha Jane T. Greenberg.

HINES, Irene Phillips
Entered into eternal rest on the evening of November 8, 2002, Irene Phillips Hines, wife of Joshua "Josh" Hines. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Hines are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter Tuesday morning, November 12, 2002 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 11 o'clock. Interment will be in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Monday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock.
Mrs. Hines was born in Haw River, North Carolina, a daughter of Joseph L. Phillips and Cora Fisher Phillips. She graduated from Hugh Morrison High School in Raleigh, NC. She was a member of First St. Andrews Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband: Josh Hines of Charleston, SC; a daughter, Jo Branch and husband Johnny of Folly Beach, SC; two sons: Randy Hines, wife Debbie of Dickson, TN and Lynwood Hines, wife Suzi of St. George, SC; two sisters: Pearl Lee Fowler of Swepsonville, NC and Christine Hicks of Swepsonville, NC; three grandchildren: Laura Marie Webb of Charleston, SC, Jamie Irene Woody of Charleston, SC, Timothy Rand Hines of Louisa, KY; three great-grandchildren: Timothy Daniel, Patti and Randi Hines, all of Louisa, KY.

FRANKLIN, David
David Michael Franklin, 26, son of Donald and Cheryl Franklin, Mount Pleasant, SC, died on Sunday, November 3, 2002 at his residence in Ashland City, Tennessee. The relatives and friends of David Michael Franklin are invited to attend his memorial service, Monday, November 11, 2002 in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Isle of Palms, SC at 11:00 o’clock. Local arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
David served in the Army 82ndAirborne prior to working for Downs Electric in Ashland City. His parents and sister, Jennifer, survive him.

GEORGE, Larry
Entered into eternal rest on November 8, 2002, Larry W. George, residence Ladson, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Mr. Larry W. George are invited to attend his Graveside Services in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens on November 11, 2002 at 1 o'clock. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL this (Sunday) evening between 6 and 8 o'clock.
Mr. George was born in Winston-Salem, NC on October 16, 1942, the son of Burnie W. George and Doris Brinkley George. He was a graduate of R.J. Reynolds High School and attended Wake Forest University. He was past President of The 100 Club of Greater Charleston and was an umpire with the Crowfield Little League and an Honorary Member of the S.C. Sheriff's Association. He retired as a Public Safety Officer in Winston-Salem, NC. He was a Consultant with AAAA Bonding. He was a member of Northwood Assembly Church and is survived by his beloved family.

WALSH, James Ottis
The relatives and friends of James Ottis Walsh, widower of Thelma Hill Walsh are invited to attend his funeral services in J. BLOOMINGBURG, Mary
Entered into eternal rest on November 8, 2002, Mary Allen Bloomingburg, widow of Henry Thurman Bloomingburg, residence, Macon, GA. Mrs. Bloomingburg was born February 12, 1921 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Harry Smith and Mary Allen Jeffcoat Smith. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter: Barbara B. Hilliard of Macon, GA; one son: Henry Allen Bloomingburg of Lexington, KY; one sister: Emily Major of Eutawville, SC and five grandchildren.

HICKMAN, Heber
Entered into eternal rest on the morning of November 9, 2002, Heber Hickman, husband of Maude Whiston Hickman, residence, Johns Island, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hickman are invited to attend the funeral services of the former Monday, November 11, 2002 in J. Mr. Hickman was born in Orangeburg, SC, a son of George Oliver Hickman and Kimmie Craven Hickman. Mr. Hickman is retired from Braswell Shipyard as Ship Superintendent. He is an army veteran of Korea and a member of Fidelity Lodge #304, A.F.M., Johns Island.
Surviving are his wife: Maude W. Hickman of Johns Island, SC; two daughters: Vicki E. Hickman of Johns Island, SC and Linda H. Steele of Summerville, SC; two sons: Brett A. Hickman of Salt Lake City, Utah and Darryl S. Hickman of Green Pond, SC; two sisters: Bernice Gayle Davis of Ravenel, SC and Joyce H. Mims of North Augusta, SC; eleven grandchildren; Sarah McEwan and Beth McEwan, Joshua Steele, Brian Steele, and Rachel Steele, Mason Hickman, Patrick Hickman, Duncan Hickman, Leigh Anne Hickman, Nicholas Hickman and Jared Hickman.

Friends of the late John B. Cottingham Jr., (USA Ret.), are invited to a memorial service on Nov. 30th, 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Church of the Holy Cross 2520 Middle St. Sullivan's Island.

COOLER, SR., Edward
Edward T. Cooler, Sr., 83, of Ridgeland, SC, died November 8, 2002 at 401 North Green Street in Ridgeland after a short illness.
Mr. Cooler was born December 20, 1918 in Ridgeland, SC, the son of the late Harry B. Cooler, Sr. and the late Lila Iola Zealy Cooler.
He was a graduate of North Carolina State University and worked in the textile industry for several years. He owned and operated Cooler's Grocery Store until he retired. He was a Captain in the US Army during World War II.
Surviving are: his wife, Lena Lynes Cooler of Ridgeland, SC; 3 sonsL Charles Cooler DeSoulliers of White Springs, NY, Edward T. Cooler and Rusty Cooler of Ridgeland, SC; 2 stepsons: George Maroska of Hilton Head, SC and Johnny Maroska of Clover, SC.; 4 sisters: Leona Hall of St. Augustine, FL, Nell Bailey of Okatie, SC, Edith Bamberg of Charleston, SC, and Margaret McLin of Walterboro, SC; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland, Sunday, November 10, 2002 at 3:00 PM with burial following at Grahamville cemetery, Ridgeland, SC. Visitation will be Saturday, November 9, 2002 from 6pm to 8pm at SAULS FUNERAL HOME OF RIDGELAND.

SINGLETON, Henry
The friends and relatives of the late Mr. Henry "Dep" Singleton of Charleston, are invited to attend his funeral services Sunday, November 10, 2002, 1 PM at Elmore Temple I.A.M.E. LISTMAN, Tracey
Tracey Listman, 54, of Summerville, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2002. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 29, 1948. She was the widow of Edward Allen Listman. She owned and operated a small business, "Memories Forever" in Summerville, SC, which helped families remember their loved ones in special and unique ways. She is survived by two daughters: Crystle Lynne Listman and Tiffany Marie Listman of Summerville, SC; sisters: Samantha Vigil and JoAnn O'Donnell of Westville, NJ; nephews: Brian and Brock Vigil of Westville, NJ; niece, Jennifer O'Donnell of Westville, NJ; brother: John J. Murphy and wife Geneva and their daughter Sheena. The funeral services will be held at 1PM on Saturday, November 9, 2002 in the Goose Creek Chapel of MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd. (Hwy. 52), Goose Creek, SC.
