Martha Elizabeth Mincy Taylor, 82, widow of James Oliver Jelks Taylor, of Summerville, SC died November 9, 2002 at a Charleston hospital.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 11, 2002 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Taylor was born July 7, 1920 in Savannah, GA, a daughter of John Leon Mincy and Maggie Viola Evans Mincy. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Judith T. Cranford of Summerville; son, James O. J. Taylor, III of Atlanta; sister, Edith Mincy McCown of Summerville, 7 grandchildren, Hank Cranford of Ridgeville, Catherine Culp of Summerville, John Taylor and Annise Taylor, both of Atlanta, Amy Foster of Los Angeles, Karyn Foster of Africa and Joshua Greenberg of Clearwater, FL; 4 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by her husband and a daughter, Martha Jane T. Greenberg.

Surviving are her husband: Josh Hines of Charleston, SC; a daughter, Jo Branch and husband Johnny of Folly Beach, SC; two sons: Randy Hines, wife Debbie of Dickson, TN and Lynwood Hines, wife Suzi of St. George, SC; two sisters: Pearl Lee Fowler of Swepsonville, NC and Christine Hicks of Swepsonville, NC; three grandchildren: Laura Marie Webb of Charleston, SC, Jamie Irene Woody of Charleston, SC, Timothy Rand Hines of Louisa, KY; three great-grandchildren: Timothy Daniel, Patti and Randi Hines, all of Louisa, KY.

David Michael Franklin, 26, son of Donald and Cheryl Franklin, Mount Pleasant, SC, died on Sunday, November 3, 2002 at his residence in Ashland City, Tennessee. Reynolds High School and attended Wake Forest University. He was past President of The 100 Club of Greater Charleston and was an umpire with the Crowfield Little League and an Honorary Member of the S.C. Sheriff's Association. He retired as a Public Safety Officer in Winston-Salem, NC. He was a Consultant with AAAA Bonding. He was a member of Northwood Assembly Church and is survived by his beloved family.

Mr. Hickman was born in Orangeburg, SC, a son of George Oliver Hickman and Kimmie Craven Hickman. Mr. Hickman is retired from Braswell Shipyard as Ship Superintendent. He is an army veteran of Korea and a member of Fidelity Lodge #304, A.F.M., Johns Island.
Surviving are his wife: Maude W. Hickman of Johns Island, SC; two daughters: Vicki E. Hickman of Johns Island, SC and Linda H. Steele of Summerville, SC; two sons: Brett A. Hickman of Salt Lake City, Utah and Darryl S. Hickman of Green Pond, SC; two sisters: Bernice Gayle Davis of Ravenel, SC and Joyce H. Edward T. Cooler, Sr., 83, of Ridgeland, SC, died November 8, 2002 at 401 North Green Street in Ridgeland after a short illness.
Mr. Cooler was born December 20, 1918 in Ridgeland, SC, the son of the late Harry B. Cooler, Sr. and the late Lila Iola Zealy Cooler.
He was a graduate of North Carolina State University and worked in the textile industry for several years. He owned and operated Cooler's Grocery Store until he retired. He was a Captain in the US Army during World War II.
Surviving are: his wife, Lena Lynes Cooler of Ridgeland, SC; 3 sonsL Charles Cooler DeSoulliers of White Springs, NY, Edward T. Cooler and Rusty Cooler of Ridgeland, SC; 2 stepsons: George Maroska of Hilton Head, SC and Johnny Maroska of Clover, SC.; 4 sisters: Leona Hall of St. Augustine, FL, Nell Bailey of Okatie, SC, Edith Bamberg of Charleston, SC, and Margaret McLin of Walterboro, SC; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Tracey Listman, 54, of Summerville, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2002. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 29, 1948. She was the widow of Edward Allen Listman. She owned and operated a small business, "Memories Forever" in Summerville, SC, which helped families remember their loved ones in special and unique ways. She is survived by two daughters: Crystle Lynne Listman and Tiffany Marie Listman of Summerville, SC; sisters: Samantha Vigil and JoAnn O'Donnell of Westville, NJ; nephews: Brian and Brock Vigil of Westville, NJ; niece, Jennifer O'Donnell of Westville, NJ; brother: John J.
