Carlotta Johnson Hyers, the widow of Samuel Ken Hyers, died on November 5, 2002, in Charleston, S.C. The funeral will be on Saturday, November 9, 2002, at 2 p.m., in Old Saint Andrews Episcopal Church, 2604 Ashley River Road, Charleston, S.C. 29407. Mrs. Bloomingburg was born February 12, 1921 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Harry Smith and Mary Allen Jeffcoat Smith. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter: Barbara B. Hilliard of Macon, GA; one son: Henry Allen Bloomingburg, of Lexington, KY; one sister: Emily Major of Eutawville, SC; five grandchildren, Ray Hilliard, Jr., Sandy McHugh and her husband Joey, Mark Bloomingburg, Lance Hilliard and his wife, Elizabeth, and Ashley Bloomingburg; and one great-grandchild, Brett McHugh.

Corine Durr-Hair, age 70, of Charleston, S.C. passed away November 7th, 2002. Funeral service will be Sunday, November 10, 2002, at 2 p.m., at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, S.C.
Survivors include a daughter, Jeanette Easterling, of North Charleston, S.C., sons, Gary Hair, of Hollywood, S.C., David (Rhonda) Hair, of Johns Island, S.C., Richard (Marilyn) Hair, of Jamestown, S.C. Also surviving are sisters, Shirley Houge, Myrtle Gaskins, Beverly Rutledge, Linda Williams, and Lottie Alridge, brothers, John Durr and Tommy Durr. KELLETT, Stanley
Stanley Edward Kellett, 80, of North Charleston, died Wednesday, November 6, 2002, at a local hospital.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 10, 2002, 11:30 a.m., at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
Born October 31, 1922, in Simpsonville, S.C., he was the son of the late Samuel Frank Kellett and Dovie Ruth Reaves.
Mr. Kellet was a retired Air Force veteran. Mr. Kellett served in the Korean War. Mr. Kellett was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors included his wife, Helen (Judy) Jewel Frank Kellett of North Charleston; a daughter, Sammie Pomfret, of Maryville, Tenn., four sons, Donald Kellett, of Jedburg, Richard Kellett, of Redding, Calif., Kenneth "Randy" Kellett, of North Charleston, Brian Kellett, of Charleston, four sisters, Vera E. Miller, of Charleston, Lois Milstaugh, of Florida, Louise Darby, of Greenville, S.C., Elisie Verner, of Charleston, 12 grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., Sunday, November 10, 2002, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, S.C.

WILSON, Gene
GEORGETOWN - Gene T. Wilson, Jr., 45, died Thursday evening, November 7, 2002, at his residence after a long illness.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2002, at the Christian Fortress Church near Andrews. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge cemetery directed by Georgetown Chapel of MCKENZIE FUNERAL HOME.
Mr. Wilson was born December 5, 1956, in Williamsburg County, a son of Gene T. Wilson and Euna Lee Mobley Wilson. He was educated in Williamsburg County and was a Baptist. He attended the Christian Fortress.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Donna S. Wilson of Georgetown, are: one son, Gene T. Wilson, III, of Georgetown; two daughters, Tracy Wilson Blakely and her husband, Mardie, and Brandi M. Wilson, both of Georgetown; two sisters, Teri W. High of Georgetown and Cindy W. Heildelberg of Ellisville, Miss.; two grandsons, Mardie L. Blakely, Jr., and Nicholas L. Blakely.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday evening, November 9, 2002, at the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.

ANDREWS - Vibert Curtis Duke, 79, died Wednesday morning, November 6, 2002, at the Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Duke was born August 4, 1923 in Williamsburg County, a son of Thomas Cleveland Duke, Sr. and Evelyn Graham Duke. He was educated in the Williamsburg County School District. He was a retired maintenance worker and security guard of International Paper Company, Inc., Georgetown Mill; a member of IP's Quarter Century Club; a retired Williamsburg county farmer; a member of the Piney Forest Baptist Church where he has served over the years as Deacon, Sunday School Devotional leader, and usher. He was a member of the Harper's Lodge No. 225 of the A.M.F.
He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers: Thomas Cleveland "TC" Duke, Jr., Burch Graham Duke, and Eric M. Duke; one sister, Martha Evelyn D. Jacks.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Hazel Evans Duke of Andrews; one son, Curtis Keith Duke and his wife, Lynn, of Georgetown; one sister, Kathleen D. Honeycutt of Simpsonville; two grandsons, Justin Curtis Duke and Travis Ryan Duke.
WAGERS, Bland
Bland Pinckney Wagers, 76, of Hardeeville, S.C., died November 6, 2002, in Hardeeville, S.C., after a long illness.
Born in St. George, October 31, 1926, Mr. Wagers was the son of the late Dibble Pinckney Wagers, and the late Blanche Hattie Campbell Wagers. He was a machinist by profession and was a member of Hardeeville United Methodist Church. He retired from Stone Container Co. and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include, former wife, Doris Wagers Rush of Reidsville, Ga., two sons, Jimmy W. Wagers of Kingsland, Ga., and Bland D. Wagers of Reidsville, Ga.; two daughters, Patricia Wagers Floyd of Hardeeville, S.C., and Janet Wagers Counts of Bluffton, S.C.; one brother, Sapp Wagers of St. George, S.C.; six sisters, Helen Wagers, Margie Creel, Eunice Shieder, Sylvia Horne, Ann Hartzog, and Jean Judy, all of St. George, S.C.; six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
