PRINCE, Mary
SCOTIA - Mrs. Mary Prince, 61, of 450 Old Depot Road near Scotia, died Wednesday morning in the Hampton Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Prince was born in Beaufort County, June 9, 1941, a daughter of the late Grover and Katie Shaffer Nettles. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Scotia Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Johnnie E. Prince.
Surviving are: Two daughters, Vivian P. Dobson and Mary Frances P. Ferguson, both of Scotia; two brothers: Bobby Nettles of Nixville and Ellis Nettles of Marion, NC; two sisters: Kathryn Johnson of Scotia and Margie Frame of Beaufort. There are 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday in the Chapel of PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME in Hampton, with burial in the Lebanon cemetery near Scotia. Friends may call at the Chapel in Hampton from 7 - 9 PM Friday, and Saturday until the hour of service.

ROBERTS, Tami
Tami E. Roberts, 54, of Summerville, S.C., husband of Terelyn F. Roberts, died Tuesday, November 5, 2002, at a Charleston hospital.
Memorial services will be held at North Charleston Church of Christ 6337 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, S.C. (across from Shoney's Restaurant) this Friday evening, November 8, 2002, at 7 o'clock. Burial will be in Beaufort National cemetery, Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at 12 o'clock noon.
Mr. Roberts was born December 10, 1947, in Denver, Colo., a son of Albert Roberts and Elizabeth Kirby Roberts. He was retired from the United States Navy and a NAPA Auto Parts store manager.
Survivors include, his wife, Terelyn F. Roberts of Summerville, S.C.; one son, Jason Roberts of Valdosta, Ga.; two daughters, Roben-Marie Smith of Daytona Beach, Fla., Rhonda Starnes of Knoxville, Tenn., and four grandchildren.

ANDREWS - Viola Thomas McKenzie, 79, died Wednesday evening, November 6, 2002, at her residence.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, November 9, 2002, at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Andrews. Burial will follow in the Andrews Memorial cemetery directed by Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Mrs. McKenzie was October 13, 1923, in Georgetown County, a daughter of Daniel Jackson Thomas and Melissa Elliott Thomas. She was a graduate of Andrews High School; a retired Bank Teller of Andrews Bank and Trust; a charter member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Andrews where she has served for many years as Secretary - Treasurer, Mission Director, Youth Ministry Leader, and a member of Women's Ministry.
She was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Reed Irby Saxon; a brother-in-law, Thomas Robert "TR" Moore.
Surviving in addition to her husband, John Lewis McKenzie of Andrews, are: one sister, Divonia T. Moore of Andrews; two nieces, Linda M. Wolf and her husband, Art, Marilyn M. Floyd and her husband, Theron; adopted family, Dorothy D. Merritt, Rev. Henry Duncan, Jr., Rev. Elwood Duncan, D.D. Duncan, Rev. Donald Duncan, Earl Duncan, Burnett Duncan, and Lorraine D. Floyd.

Mr. Hyatt was born in Bethune, SC, a son of Harrison E. and Letha Bernice Hyatt. He graduated from The University of Tennessee in 1953 with a BS in Transportation Management. He was Past President of National Defense Transportation Assoc., past President of Charleston Traffic Club, Club Director of Delta Nu Alpha Transportation Fraternity and past Chairman of National Transportation Week. Mr. Hyatt was a US Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II and a member of Hibben United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, David M. Hyatt of Hanahan, SC, Reginald D. Hyatt, Jr. of Orange Park, FL, and Stephen C. Hyatt of Mount Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Janice Hyatt Decker of Irmo, SC and Laura L. Hyatt of Mount Pleasant, SC; two sisters, Pansy Fowler of Bethune, SC and Tressie Rivers of Altemonte Springs, FL; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Heather and Frank Decker, Kimberly and Trey Hyatt, and Bryce and Clarice Hyatt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Davidson Hyatt.
