Entered into eternal rest on November 6, 2002, Robert Clifton Ford, Sr., 78, husband of Jean Davis Ford. Residence, Johns Island, S.C. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ford, Sr., are invited to attend the funeral services of the former in St. John's Episcopal Church, Saturday afternoon, November 9, 2002, at 2 o'clock. Mr. Ford was born in Lugoff, S.C., the son of John Lucas Ford and Rosa Lee Huckabee Ford. He was a retired crane operator with Koppers Company. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
Surviving are his wife of Johns Island, S.C.; two sons, Robert Clifton Ford, Jr., and wife Wanda Ford of Johns Island, S.C., and Willis Banyon Ford and wife Karen Ford of Hollywood, S.C.; one step-son, Tony Davis and wife Kathyrn (Cookie) Davis of Cheraw, S.C.; one brother, Fred E. Ford of Cheraw, S.C.; one sister, Mary Alice Huckabee of North Charleston, S.C., five grandchildren, Robert M. Ford of Ravenel, S.C., Freddie Ford of Ridgeville, S.C., Michelle Goodale of Hollywood, S.C., Willis B. Ford, Jr., of Johns Island, S.C., and Melissa Barfield of Ravenel, S.C.; ten great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, Scott Davis and Hope Davis of Cheraw, S.C.
BARRINEAU, Harold
EUTAWVILLE - Mr. Harold Lloyd Clifford Barrineau, Sr., 78, of 222 Knott Drive, Eutawville died Tuesday at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 4 PM this Thursday, November 7, 2002 at the residence.
Mr. Barrineau was born in Charleston a son of the late Thomas Barrineau and Mae Elvira Dukes Barrineau. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was retired from GARCO after 32 years in the rubber roll division. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany.
Survivors include his widow, Jeanne Davis Barrineau of the home; daughters, Teresa Driggers of Summerville, Brenda Black of Nashville, NC, and Angela Hunter of Holly Hill; son, Harold Cliff Barrineau, Jr. of Orlando, FL; brother, John Barrineau of Walterboro; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

LICHTMAN, Marc
Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of November 5, 2002, Dr. Marc M. Lichtman, husband of Jeanne Intrator Lichtman. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Dr. and Mrs. Marc M.Lichtman are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Thursday, at eleven o’clock in Emanu-El cemetery (Maryville).
Dr. Lichtman was born May 11, 1908, in Sedciszow, Poland, the son of Samuel Lichtman and Sarah Wolf Lichtman. He was a member of Synagogue Emanu-El.
After graduating from the University of Berne, Switzerland, Faculty of Medicine, he practiced in clinics in Davos, Switzerland before coming to the United States in 1946. Dr. Lichtman practiced internal medicine and cardiology at Flushing Hospital in New York before opening a private practice in New Hyde Park, New York. He was a founding physician of North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, a member of its clinical staff and remained an honorary member.
He was a lifetime member of the American Medical Association, The New York State Medical Society, Nassau County Medical Society and the Cardiology Society of New York.
He is survived by his wife of Charleston, SC; two daughters: Vivian S. Friedman of Charleston, SC and Karen L. Sax of Villanova, PA; one brother: Stanley Lichtman of Montreal, Canada; four grandchildren: Arielle Friedman, Leah Friedman, Emily Sax and Jonathan Sax.

Oknam Chung Minor, 55, of Summerville, SC, wife of Thomas Minor, died Tuesday, November 5, 2002 at a Charleston hospital.

Mrs. Minor was born January 29, 1947 in Seoul, Korea, a daughter of Kim Chung. She was a housewife.

ANDREWS - Vibert Davis Duke, 79, died Wednesday morning, November 6, 2002, at the Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 8, 2002, at the Piney Forest Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Andrews Memorial cemetery, directed by Andrews Chapel of the McKenzie Funeral Home.
Mr. Duke was born August 4, 1923 in Williamsburg County, a son of Thomas Cleveland Duke, Sr. and Evelyn Graham Duke. He was educated in the Williamsburg County School District. He was a retired maintenance worker and security guard of International Paper Company, Inc., Georgetown Mill; a member of IP's Quarter Century Club; a retired Williamsburg county farmer; a member of the Piney Forest Baptist Church where he has served over the years as Deacon, Sunday School Devotional leader, and usher.
He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers: Thomas Cleveland "TC" Duke, Jr., Burch Graham Duke, and Eric M. Duke; one sister, Martha Evelyn D. Jacks.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Hazel Evans Duke of Andrews; one son, Curtis Keith Duke and his wife, Lynn, of Georgetown; one sister, Kathleen D. Honeycutt of Simpsonville; two grandsons, Justin Curtis Duke and Travis Ryan Duke.
Visitation will be 6 - 9 PM Thursday evening, November 7, 2002 at the ANDREWS CHAPEL OF MCKENZIE FUNERAL HOME.
