Mr. Espiritu was born in San Marcclino, Zambales, Philippines, August 14, 1981, the son of Valentino Espiritu and Conchita Castillo Espiritu. He worked at BiLo Supermarket. He completed a year of college at Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and also attended Rutledge Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are his parents; three sisters: Ellen Grace E. and husband Jeff Villaver of Washington, DC, Ethel Ivy E. and husband Jay Donlin of Virginia Beach, VA, and Vesely Ilza C. Espiritu of Columbia, SC; two uncles: Jess and Frank Espiritu, both of Charleston, SC; four aunts: Josefina Ordillas of Hawaii, Amor and Pat Espiritu of Charleston, SC, Trinidad Mayuyo and Ofelia Basila both of the Philippines; numerous cousins: Micah and wife Kathie, Jay, Jayce, and Michael Espiritu, all of Charleston, SC, Althea Ordillas of Hawaii, and Ira and wife Juanita Ordillas of California; Grandma Elena and Grandpa Salvador Castillo of Zambales, Philippines; aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends in the USA and Philippines.

Cameill Virginia Stellings Eaton, 89, of Charleston, widow of John Joseph Eaton, Sr., died Saturday, November 2, 2002, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Eaton was born November 24, 1912, in Charleston, a daughter of the late Edward P. Stellings and Josephine Smith Stellings Prox. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Mrs. Eaton was a devout Catholic and an avid gardener. She is preceded in death by a son, John Joseph Eaton, Jr. Mrs. Eaton is survived by, a son, Frank E. Eaton, Sr., and his wife Betty of Charleston; a daughter, Virginia Myer and her husband Tim of Plano, Texas; two sisters, Marie W. Smith of Charleston and Ruby M. Schoettle of East Greenwich, RI; a brother, Joseph A. Prox of Interlachen, Fla.; ten grandchildren, Margaret Marie Eaton, John J. Eaton, III, Dawna E. Medders, Cathy Delpit, Frank E. Eaton, Jr., Elizabeth E. Griffith, Eugene P. Eaton, Lisa Mueller, Barbra Harty and Pamela Myer, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Monday, November 4th, at St. John's Catholic Church. STROMAN, J.D.
BOWMAN, S.C. - John Donald "Donnie" Stroman, 61, died Thursday, October 31, 2002. Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, at Bowman Southern Methodist Church. Burial in Bowman cemetery. Arrangements by DUKES-HARLEY FUNERAL HOME.
Mr. Stroman was born in Orangeburg, a son of the late George E. Stroman, Sr., and Janelle Inabinet Stroman. He was a self-employed businessman. He was a member of Bowman Southern Methodist Church and served on the Board of Stewards and taught Sunday School. He was a Mason and member of Bowman Lodge. He was predeceased by a daughter, Misty Lynn Stroman.
Survivors include, his wife, Nancy Bozard Stroman of the home; a son, Jason D. Stroman, University of S.C., Columbia; three brothers, George Evan Stroman, Orangeburg, George Ronald "Ronnie" Stroman, Columbia, Richard L. "Ricky" Stroman, Orangeburg.
Memorials may be made to Bowman Southern Methodist Church.

ROBERTSON, Sally
Entered into eternal rest on the evening of October 27, 2002, Sally Jane Robertson, widow of Carroll M. "Skip" Robertson, Jr., residence, Charleston, S.C. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in St. Michael's Church, Monday, at 11 o'clock. Inurnment, Churchyard.
Mrs. Robertson was born September 17, 1925, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Edward White Foster and the late Helen Ives Whitmore Foster. She received her A.B. from Vassor College in 1946 and her M.A. in 1969 and her B.S.M.E. in 1973 from the University of Cincinnati. She retired as an engineer with General Electric Aircraft Engines.
In Mrs. Robertson's own words: "I had a simply marvelous life! Praise the Lord!"
One son survives her, Carroll E. (Rob) Robertson of Amhurst, Mass.

PASCUA, Carole
GEORGETOWN - Carole Jean Harrelson Pascua, 64, died Saturday, November 2, 2002, in Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Pascua was born in Georgetown on Sept. 13, 1938, a daughter of the late Roy Bell Harrelson, Sr. and Ruth Sisson Harrelson. She was a graduate of Winyah High School and Winthrop University and received a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and School Admin. from the University of S. C.
Mrs. Pascua taught Early Childhood Education and worked in school administration in a number of schools in S. C and other states until her retirement from the Georgetown County School District in 1993. She was a former principal at Andrews Primary School and an assistant principal at McDonald School. Mrs. Pascua was also a Parent Education Consultant for the S. C. State Dept. of Education in Columbia. After retirement, she coordinated the YMCA and After School Programs at all elementary schools in Georgetown County and served as Parent Education Consultant for the Horry County School District.
Mrs. Pascua was a member of Georgetown Presbyterian Church and served as a consultant for the after school program and pre-school program for the church. She also served as a committee member for after school care at Friendfield Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Pascua was a former board member of the Mental Health Assn. in Sumter and was recognized as Sumter’s Outstanding Young Woman of the Year in 1969. She served on various state committees on Early Childhood and Parent Education issues including Gov. Richard W. Riley’s Voices of Children in Horry and Georgetown Counties. Mrs. Pascua was also a volunteer for the Leukemia Society of America and the American Cancer Society
Surviving are: a son, Russell G. Pascua of Garden City Beach; a brother, Roy B. Ted Harrelson of Georgetown; and two sisters, Janette H. Martin of Surfside Beach and Mary Jane H. Dingle of Bakersville, N. C.
Funeral services will be Monday afternoon, November 4, 2002, at three o’clock at Georgetown Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. J. Ben Sloan and the Rev. James B. Carter, Jr. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens under the direction of the GEORGETOWN CHAPEL OF MAYER FUNERAL HOME.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from four until six Sunday afternoon, November 3, 2002.

MAU, Hannah
GEORGETOWN - Hannah Ruth Thomas Mau, 66, died Friday, November 1, 2002, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Mau was born on November 30, 1935 in Kingstree, a daughter of the late Burrie Clifton Thomas and Lillie Jane Coker Thomas. She was an employee of Helen’s Hallmark & Gift Shoppe for ten years and then worked at Wal-Mart for sixteen years until her retirement. Mrs. Mau was a member of Screven Baptist Church.
Surviving are: a daughter, Dee Dee Mau Conner of Hemingway; three sons, H. Michael Mau, Johnny L. Mau, and H. Steven Mau, all of Georgetown; two sisters, Bobbie Thomas Andrews of Lexington and Nancy Thomas Wood of Chesterfield; a granddaughter, Barbara Wrenn; and a great-grandson, Bradley Locklair.
Mrs. Mau was predeceased by: her husband, Hans Mau, two brothers, Burrie D. Thomas and Lucian Thomas; and two sisters, Thela Mae Thomas Hanf and Nell Thomas Reed.
Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 5, 2000, at one o’clock at Screven Baptist Church. Officiating will be The Rev. Wayne Ellis. Burial will follow at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens under the direction of the GEORGETOWN CHAPEL OF MAYER FUNERAL HOME.
The family will receive friends Monday evening, Nov. 4, 2002, from six until eight at the funeral home.

ST. GEORGE - Mr. David W. Murray, Jr. of 3042 Wire Road, St. George, SC died Saturday, November 02, 2002 in a Charleston Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. St. Matthews Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Futrell officiating.
Mr. Murray was born July 5, 1922 in Orangeburg, SC a son of the late David Walker Murray, Sr. and Henrietta Shieder Murray. He was a retired Rigger in Shop 72 at Charleston Navel Shipyard and was a decorated Army Veteran of WW II having received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was the widower of Eunice Fralix Murray and a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church.
Surviving are: son, David Walker Murray, III Grover, daughter, Patricia (Jimmy) Murray, Grover, SC, sister, Jean (Bobby) Creel, St. George, Grandchildren, Amelia (David) Rochester, Walhalla, SC, Theresa (Jeff) Sweatman, St. George, Brett Murray, St. George, Great-Grandchildren, Daniel Murray, Trevor Murray, Justin Sweatman, Jennifer Sweatman, Laura Rochester, and Sarah Rochester. Born in Alconbury, England, she was a daughter of the late Colonel Willard G. Mattson and the late Mardell Marjorie Mattson. She is survived by her brother, Jeff Mattson of Simpsonville, S.C., sisters, Mrs. Georgone Assur of Fairfax, Va., Julie Ann Mattson of North Charleston, S.C., and a brother-in-law, Patrick Cain of North Charleston, and pets.
